“10/10! Absolutely fantastic! My dog is scared with strangers he doesn’t know. Sarah spent 40 minutes warming him up, giving him treats and taking him out for a potty! She was willing to work on making my dog nice and comfortable, which was fantastic. I am very comfortable with her watching over my dog! I know she is taking care of him & is treating him as her own!”

“Adriana has been excellent! very responsive and communicative - it's been a joy to work with her and I trust her with my boy completely (an 80 lbs. 8 year old dog who loves all his smells and peeing on everything!).”

8. Jadyne M.
“Jadyne is an absolutely amazing and very considerate pet sitter! I went out of town to visit family for over 2 weeks, and she was fantastic with coming in daily to check up on my cats. She stayed for a few hours at a time every day to check up on their automatic food and water feeders, as well as clean up their litterbox. I was especially appreciative of her attention to detail with the litterbox, since one of my cats is quite picky with the litterbox setup. Jadyne was able to accommodate her pickiness with no issues, which gave me enormous peace of mind on my trip! I was also grateful that Jadyne was willing to stay for a little bit during each visit to spend time with my cats and play with them so they wouldn't get too lonely. She frequently sent photos and videos so I knew they were doing okay, and communication was a breeze.”

9. Valeria P.

“Valeria was super flexible with my schedule. She even helped me out with some funky requests. Thor was so happy and tired after his walks! I can’t say enough for how great she was! 10/10 recommend”

10. Autumn S.

“Autumn was great and shadow was tired out from her walk! Thank you!”

11. Patrick M.
About: I have a very enthusiastic and happy border collie at home, she loves to play all of the time and I have learned a lot about pet care from taking care of her. I'm available in the summer from May 15th through August 18th. With my border collie at home I take her to Jamesville or other parks frequently to play. I take pet safety very seriously. I make sure that your dog is under control and is friendly before taking them out. I'll make sure they're under control as well when walking since the last thing I want is for something bad to happen.

12. Ella R.
“Ella is amazing with animals! She takes great care of her dog Molly. She often takes her dog Molly on walks which I know is no easy task. Molly is a larger dog filled with energy and Ella is so good with her, I would trust her with any dog. She is also just a very caring person who will show so much love to your dog!”

13. Gillian G.
“Gillian is a kind, gentle and caring person with lots of experience working with animals. She works at an emergency vets office and has taken very good care of her own pets.”

14. Sarah A.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child, with my personal pet care experience being centered on cats. Growing up in an apartment, I was always around cats and have been raising my own for the last 7 years. I am a total cat lady! Along with caring for my own cats, I have cat-sit for many friends, colleagues, and family members. Additionally, I have always loved being around friend and family members' dogs and have dog sit several times, including walking and overnight care. I am patient, respectful of animal's boundaries, and reliable for providing clear and consistent communication. As a grad student, I am also dependable for responsible and respectful service. I know that trusting someone with your pets is a big responsibility, and I will do everything I can to give your furry family members as pleasant and relaxing an experience as possible while you're away! As a PhD student, my summers are very flexible as I am mostly working on independent research projects and preparing to teach in the fall. I have a car and am able to travel for the visits. Outside of short travel dates, I am usually available throughout the day and can complete multiple visits in a day if needed. When meeting new animals, I always allow the animal to dictate how much they want me to interact with them. I believe that animals are excellent communicators as long as we know how to listen to them. I try to establish trust between myself and the animal by avoiding direct eye contact, not hovering over them, and moving as quietly and slowly as possible until it is clear the animal feels comfortable. Along with the basics of feeding and cleaning up, I always make sure to provide the animals with some play time and comfort. I am happy to talk about your animal's specific needs and how I can best care for them.

15. Bethany B.

“On time, very caring and interested in dog personality. Piper loved her and she runs too so she will coming back again for sure. I felt very comfortable with her as did my dog she's looking out the window for her still. ?”

16. Margaret P.

“Margaret came to the rescue when we needed her! On short notice she was able to care for our Rocco and in inclement weather to boot! What a trooper!”

17. Amber M.

“We hired Amber to walk our dog every afternoon for 2.5 wk. Amber was punctual, cheerful, very gentle and careful with the dog, who liked her. Communication was good, particularly during difficult weather. On two days, we knew in advance that we had to change location for her to park her car upon arrival, and that went very smoothly. We will definitely have Amber on the top of our list for any future pupcare needs!”

18. Azalea K.
About: I've been a pet sitter for 7 years. I've watched up to 4 animals at a time and walked up to 3 at a time. I have experience with medications for both cats and dogs. I'm currently in college and have a few days free. I love animals and think this is a perfect opportunity to get involved in the community. I will usually walk, feed and play with the animals in the home. They get lonely so I try to make them more comfortable even if it's just an hour.

19. Taylor S.

“Taylor is a gem! She was great with my dog (and my kids) during a super-cold, super-snowy Syracuse weekend when I couldn’t get out for walks. She was very communicative and even added an extra walk in between her own work to help me out. Would absolutely recommend!”

20. Isaiah D.

“Isaiah is an amazing dog walker!! He is very friendly and super reliable! I never had to worry about my dog not being well taken care of. I can’t say I’ve felt the same with other dog walkers we have used. Goose also loves him and enjoys their walks! I would highly recommend him!”
