Ensuring a pet’s safety is very important to us! We will keep any harmful items ranging from cleaners to meds like ibuprofen away from your pet’s reach. We also make sure not to leave doors open and try to open them as little as possible when entering and leaving to prevent any escapes.

Some things we like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
We both do pet sitting full time so we are always available to give your pets the utmost attention, including around the clock care if that is something you're looking for. We always like to start the day off right with a walk in the morning with your pup! Depending on the schedule for the day, we would hang out at home with them as much as possible. Regardless, we’ll always make sure to head out on as many walks a day as possible; a healthy pup is a happy pup! In New York City, we loved walking around Morningside and Central Park! We would love for your pup to show us their favorite spots, too! During nice weather, we could do some hiking or just sit in the park and enjoy the sun!

We have both been around dogs throughout our entire lives and are always looking to brighten our day with some furry friends. We became pet sitters because pets always put us in a good mood, no matter what! We both grew up in Massachusetts and are transplants to the area from New York City. Becoming a dog walker in New York City was great because it allowed us to turn our passions into a career. We can’t imagine our lives without spending time with dogs! Although we’ve both had tons of experience sitting locally for friends and family, we started walking dogs professionally in 2015 and have been doing so ever since! We both have experience with small Terrier-like dogs all the way up to Great Danes, so we're always happy to take on all different kinds of pups. We do not have any breed restrictions and are comfortable with all breeds. For all new clients, we like to schedule a meet-and-greet before our time together. We find that this helps to build trust with them so they are not scared or aggressive with us during our stay. In addition to getting to know your pup, it’s a great opportunity for us to get to ask questions as well. We would like to know any triggers or quirks that your dog might have as well as if they are friendly with people, other dogs, etc.! During a stay, we provide the utmost attention to a dog’s needs and can provide a comfortable experience for any size dog with any temperament. We believe that every dog is unique and there is no “one mold fits all” as to walking and caring for them. You and your dog will have a very personal experience when choosing us as caretakers! *PLEASE NOTE: Constant care rates vary from our normal rates. Please be upfront about your care needs so we can give you an accurate quote!*

Cori and Jamie did a great job pet/house sitting for us. This has been the longest we’ve been away from our cats where a family member hasn’t been watching them. After we met them we felt much more better about our trip. It made traveling with a toddler a lot easier knowing that the cats and house were in good hands! We will definitely consider booking with Cori and Jamie again for future trips!

Cori and Jamie took good care of my kitty while I was away and I was able to have peace of mind while I was away from home, knowing that I could count on them. They were very attentive to her needs and spent time with her so she didn’t feel alone. They were great at communicating with me at all times. They even watered my outside potted plants so I didn’t come home to dead flowers. Will definitely book again!
Cori and Jamie are wonderful pet friends! Ranger spilled his water in the kitchen, and not only did they clean up the water, they also noted that other things were wet and hung them out to dry for me. They always go above and beyond for the pets and the pet-parents.
