About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. I would walk a dog named Molly. She belonged to an older person who struggled with it. I am working toward my goal of becoming a zookeeper, and my education has given me hands-on experience caring for not only dogs and cats but reptiles, birds, small mammals, and horses. During my time working at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo, I learned animal care and training techniques, proper sanitation maintenance, animal behavior, enrichment practices, and how to recognize signs of illness, injury, or stress. I will use these skills to ensure that your fur babies are receiving the best care possible. I've owned dogs my entire life and have experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. My family has an 11-year-old German Shepard mix and 3 years ago I adopted a German short haired pointer mix. I understand that every animal is unique, and I am committed to providing safe, attentive, and compassionate care while you're away. Whether your pet needs exercise, enrichment, medication administration, or simply plenty of love and attention, I'll treat them as if they were my own. I'm currently working part-time on Wednesdays-Saturdays; however, I still have some availability during those days to spend time with your pups. I am completely available Sundays-Tuesdays! I will replicate your dog's normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe while you are away. With my training as a professional dog bather and my degree in Zoo Animal Technology, I have the knowledge and experience to understand animal behavior, recognize body language, and respond appropriately to each dog's individual needs.
About: I'm active dog walker ready to give your dog a healthy jog to work out that energy! I love big breeds, my own dog is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix. I am a Freelance Graphic Designer and Graduate student, I work and study from home. My schedule is flexible and can accommodate yours at your need. I provide my pets walks twice a day and daily play at home. On the weekends visit the dog park and play catch, get a good stretch and workout for the week followed by a wash!
