She was amazing with our animals and somehow managed to break our shy one out of his shell (cats just know when they see a good human!) and sent us thorough updates with lots of pictures, which really helped us feel less anxious and enjoy our travels more. “Isabel is a wonderful and empathetic person who pays a lot of attention to animals. She helped me with Fred, a chocolate Labrador who lived with me until recently and Wolfe, the German Shepherd in my care now. Both dogs eat a diet of raw meat only, and require at least 2 walks a day. The Fred was very food motivated, and always enjoyed getting treats for doing tricks. One thing that Isabel taught me that I didn't even realize is that he sneezed whenever he was excited, especially when he knew it was 'treat time'. She also took great care of Wolfe, who is a very energetic and playful dog, and played with him even more than I do when she took care of him. She also was eager to help maintain his training when I mentioned some of the tricks he knew, but didn't really ask her to take care of and even expressed interest in teaching him to find treats. She also taught me how to wrap treats In a towel to keep his busy brain active. I've been impressed with her enthusiasm for animal care and her willingness to go above and beyond for the animals to meet their needs. I would highly reccomend her to take care of your animals.”
