About: Hello! I am a responsible and caring pet owner based in East Syracuse with lots of love to share. My only child has has flown south away from winter for college. “Adriana was great! We came in from out of town for our son’s graduation and had to leave our nervous chihuahua in his apartment. Adriana took all of peppers cues and by the end of the day pepper asked to be pet! Pepper does NOT let anyone new touch her so this was a testament to how comfortable she felt with Adriana! “This was our first experience with Rover.com, and we were a little nervous about leaving our beloved senior kitty duo in the care of “strangers,” even though Alison and Robert had many exemplary reviews. Whatever hesitation we felt was immediately put to rest when we had our meet and greet. We found Alison and Robert both to be warm and caring and patient, but also incredibly professional and thorough. They asked a lot of questions (and made a lot of notes) about each kitteh’s likes, dislikes, medical and emotional needs, favorite spots and toys, etc. They didn’t blink at hand feeding our toothless Persian rescue, and even succeeded at brushing both cats regularly (a feat we are still marveling at since our efforts have always been met with swats and glares). They even gently removed a tummy mat that we’d been gingerly working on before we left. Incredible! And all of that doesn’t even include the best part of working with them, which was the comforting and informative communication we received after every visit. Each update included the basics like meal and potty status, but also humorous and endearing notes and photos that captured our babies at play and getting lots of love and individualized attention. These photos and notes enabled us to fully enjoy our time away, because we could regularly see how relaxed and happy our pets were. Bonus: many of the shots were so artistic and well done that they rivaled those of a professional photographer! In closing, I would tell anyone considering a booking with Alison and Robert that they truly understand and love animals and know how to cultivate trust. About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. I also have experience with basic humane training and disciplinary practices. Outside of work, my friends and family have always had lots of pets, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've also fostered a number of dogs and done a lot of pet-sitting over the years. I'm patient, attentive, and happy to give pets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. I am currently a full time student at Syracuse University, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 12pm, so the rest of my time can be dedicated to your amazing pets! I am currently living in a pretty small apartment with one of my cats and two roommates so I do not offer any form of care at my residence. However I have my own very spacious car (2020 Honda CRV) which enables me not only to travel to you but also to safely and conveniently transport pets. Additionally, because I am a student at Syracuse University I have unique access to a lot of large and pet-friendly green spaces.
About: This past March, I brought home my own 10 week old puppy! I have cared for her and trained her in these past few months and she’s been great. Puppies are a handful but I would love to work with more! I’ve also walked/cared for multiple adults dogs of my neighbors and friends I currently work full time during the week so I’m looking to be available on weekends only. I have my own puppy to care for as well so I want to focus on her during the week and then feel I can find more openings to help others on the weekends At our home, it is not fenced in so the dog will be leashed the whole time. There is a public park directly in from of our house for the pup to sniff and walk/run around! It is also not fenced in so would keep them leashed at all times. Barry park is also nearby our house. For client houses, I would follow your lead on what harness/collar you deem best for your dog and the preferred type of leash. Would of course ensure they are on leash during the whole walk/outside time.

Shaz was absolutely amazing! I love how she had no problem feeding my ferals for me as well as my 4 kitties who are usually shy around strangers. The photos she sent made me feel at ease seeing my Miney-Moo enjoying some scratches and rubbing her face against whatever corner she could find. I loved seeing my Nala girl having fun and playing in the pics. My kitties looked so relaxed and content. Dante looked so cute chilling by her feet. I felt bad when I forgot to mention that Dante wheezes when he's mad. Shaz was super concerned which I appreciated her checking in and alerting me :)
Had a really smooth experience with Sierra while she checked in on my cat over the weekend! She was very patient while I worked through the new app, and super communicative and accommodating. My cat is super shy, but she managed to get her to hang out for a bit :) very prompt with updates too and was always punctual! Would love to have her visit my cat again when we are away!
Cori and Jamie took good care of my kitty while I was away and I was able to have peace of mind while I was away from home, knowing that I could count on them. They were very attentive to her needs and spent time with her so she didn’t feel alone. They were great at communicating with me at all times. They even watered my outside potted plants so I didn’t come home to dead flowers. Will definitely book again!
We highly recommend Margaret. She did a wonderful job looking after our cats and guinea pigs while we were away. She went to great lengths to get our picky cat to eat, which we very much appreciate. She was responsive and always sent photos and updates. When we got back they were happy and clearly well cared for. I hope she is available to watch them again the next time we are out of town.
We cannot recommend Zuzu enough! She has been watching our beloved Foxxy-Freyja for a few years and consistently goes above and beyond. When it began, our girl was going through chemotherapy and required medications and Zuzu did wonderful with her. Not only does she do an amazing job with care, playtime, and providing detailed updates and pictures, but she also helped out by bringing in packages while we were away. It is such a relief to find someone so trustworthy, professional, and genuinely caring. Foxxy-Freyja absolutely adores her, and we can finally travel worry-free. 5 stars!😻😻😻😻😻
Isabel is the best, we had a sad situation made worse, my mom passed and we had to ask her to watch her kitty in a different location. She was so great about it and she was amazing with my mom’s cat. Mollie was an outstanding sitter for our cat, and I highly recommend her! She took amazing care of our furbaby, Chester, and made certain that he felt loved and cared for during our absence. Her updates and photos were greatly appreciated. She took care of all of his needs, and he was especially thrilled to get regular brushings and treats.
