About: I have had cats and dogs as pets my whole life. I have also been there for friends, family and neighbors when they need a pet sitter. About: I was that teenager growing up who never wanted to babysit, so I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As soon as I was living on my own, I adopted my first rescue pup. Today, my fiancé and I have three rescue dogs and two rescue cats. When I'm not with my dogs, I'm working full-time at a local college teaching writing. I have a Ph.D. in education, and wrote a dissertation that focused on how canine-assisted reading programs can support children's literacy development. My life is centered around my love for animals and I look forward to spoiling yours! I do work full time, but I am committed to making sure your pets are happy and comfortable while you are away. I can provide morning care, make sure they are settled before I leave for work, and then be home mid-afternoon to spend the rest of the day and evening with them. My original care plans fell through and Jessie was kind enough to accept my last-minute request. Not only was Jessie gracious enough to accept help me out, but Jessie came by to meet Keena and make her feel comfortable before watching her. Jessie gave many updates, sent photos, and was always playing with Keena during visits; clearly making her feel comfortable. About: I’ve been taking care of pets and owning dogs (& cats) since I was 15 . I also took dog training classes in Germany . Over the past years I’ve watched friends and coworkers puppies , family and friends cats and did take in some dogs from military friends for vacation ! Our dogs are super friendly with all other pets ! Cats as well as dogs - all sizes! ( they love smaller dogs as a matter of fact!) Currently I’m a stay at home mom with a 3 month old baby! I offer mostly going for walks for busy dog parents during the day (: If you request boarding: We prefer meeting up with the dogs once or twice before taking them in to make sure they get along. Our puppies love smaller dogs ! I have a fenced yard and a house , my puppies are both friendly with others. If needed or asked to, I can separate the dogs or keep in a crate .
