About: I was that teenager growing up who never wanted to babysit, so I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As soon as I was living on my own, I adopted my first rescue pup. Today, my fiancé and I have three rescue dogs and two rescue cats. When I'm not with my dogs, I'm working full-time at a local college teaching writing. I have a Ph.D. in education, and wrote a dissertation that focused on how canine-assisted reading programs can support children's literacy development. I am an active member of Pet Partners CNY, a local therapy animal organization. Olive is a certified therapy dog, and together we visit local schools and other facilities. I also have a small petwear business up and running where I make handmade pet wear (oliveandelishop) - we make appearances at local craft shows and markets. My life is centered around my love for animals and I look forward to spoiling yours! I do work full time, but I am committed to making sure your pets are happy and comfortable while you are away. I can provide morning care, make sure they are settled before I leave for work, and then be home mid-afternoon to spend the rest of the day and evening with them. Because I'm a highly energetic person and love to run and play, I will be able to provide a great and fun environment to your pup. Our Dogs understand boundaries and also when space is needed. every dog has a different personality. all 3 dogs were adopted under 1 year old and are very socialized with other dogs. social ques are extremely important to us thus why we take are time with are meet and greet process.

About: I’ve taken care of numerous dogs breeds since I was a little kid. I use to care for farm animals on my grandmothers farm. I have 2 dogs currently & they are treated like spoiled children. I love animals, but especially dogs. Just seeing their face & wagging their tail brings a smile to my face. I am a school social worker, so I have summers off. I love animals and looking to make a little extra money this summer. I am flexible and eager to start meeting your furry friends. I take my two dogs out on leash everyday 3x a day minimum. My dogs eat twice a day and get lots of cuddles and play time. My dogs are my kids, they get to sleep in my bed, special toys and treats and all the lovings. I have had puppies through their senior years as well as taking some older dogs through the rescue that I work with. I am experienced with giving medication as well as any other needs they may have. I have experience cat sitting for family and they have special diets as well as medicine given twice a day. I have raised and trained several huskies and currently have two male husky’s and one pit-bull/rottweiler/lab mix (she’s 70lbs and still thinks she’s a lap dog).
