About: I’ve taken care of numerous dogs breeds since I was a little kid. I use to care for farm animals on my grandmothers farm. I have 2 dogs currently & they are treated like spoiled children. I love animals, but especially dogs. Just seeing their face & wagging their tail brings a smile to my face. I am a school social worker, so I have summers off. I love animals and looking to make a little extra money this summer. I am flexible and eager to start meeting your furry friends. I take my two dogs out on leash everyday 3x a day minimum. My dogs eat twice a day and get lots of cuddles and play time. My dogs are my kids, they get to sleep in my bed, special toys and treats and all the lovings. I am happy to learn your animals routine and needs.
“Adriana was a huge help to me in a last minute request. She was great with the pets and it was clear they were comfortable with her from the pics she sent me. Thanks so much!”

About: My family adopted our first puppy when I was 5 years old and I assisted with the training and care of all 3 of our dogs since then. My childhood pal lived to be 16 and I helped take care of him throughout all stages of life. I work a 9 - 5 in person but have plenty availability before and after work for early morning or early evening walks. Weekends and weeknights are no problem for my schedule. Please lay out any specific care instructions for long-term visits so I can ensure that your pet is getting the same care and regimen from me as they would you.

About: Hi, my name is Rachel. I have been around all types of animals basically my entire life, dogs being my favorite of course. I've been around small dogs, average sized dogs and larger dogs. Because I'm a highly energetic person and love to run and play, I will be able to provide a great and fun environment to your pup. Since I've moved from home ( New York ) I am no longer around my family pets, whom I miss very much, Rover gives me an opportunity to make friends with your pup's, so for that I'm extremely greatful and excited to get started. I am eager to meet yourself and your fur child, and I'm even more excited to become their very good friend! ?
“Kristen did a great job with our dog Roscoe. He seemed very happy and we got lots of updates on how he was doing. It was very nice not to have to worry about him and we were able to enjoy our vacation. Thanks again Kristen!”

About: I have a degree in animal behavior that has prepared me to properly care for animals, among other skills. I have also owned dogs my entire life, including training one of my current dogs. I have volunteered at a dog rescue for about 6 years. I now work at an animal rescue that has me trained to give medications. I have also owned a senior cat for 4 years which has me comfortable cleaning litter boxes and administering medications. I currently have two part time jobs, and typically have 2 or 3 days completely available. On days I work I am available most evenings and occasionally mornings. I am unable to board animals at my house because of my other pets. However, I am able to commute to client's places. I am comfortable crating when I am not there if it is requested.
“Jessie was phenomenal watching Keena! I highly recommend booking Jessie to care for your pets. The level of genuine, positive care Keena received was amazing. My original care plans fell through and Jessie was kind enough to accept my last-minute request. Not only was Jessie gracious enough to accept help me out, but Jessie came by to meet Keena and make her feel comfortable before watching her. Jessie gave many updates, sent photos, and was always playing with Keena during visits; clearly making her feel comfortable. Jessie also dealt with some fear issues my dog was having, and did everything possible to make Keena feel better. When I returned from my trip, Keena was wagging and happy as could be, which told me she was well taken care of while I was away!”

“Deborah is very meticulous, kind, organized, and neat. These are good qualities for someone to take care of guinea pigs. I'm looking forward to working with her again.”

About: I’ve been take care of my own dog for the past few years and have previously dogs sat. It was definitely a learning curve but I love keeping them happy and healthy! I’m currently open for dog walking on the weekends or after work as I currently work until 5 during the week. Any time with pups would be lovely. I always make it a point to treat other people better than I’d want to be treated, which includes your animals and any of your belongings.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week. I work 8-4 Monday through Thursday at a local farm collective in Kirkville and a community garden in South Syracuse. In my free time, I enjoy making art in all kinds of media and being outside. I am looking to spend my time with animals and make their lives happy and bright! Trust and safety is my utmost priority. Through many years of being around different animals, I learned the important of an initial bond based in trust and respect. I hold myself with strength and create an energy of a safe and inviting environment. I am able to gauge an animal’s personality and demeanor, and adjust accordingly. For pets that love to play, I am always happy to bring out my goofy and fun-loving side. For more reserved companions, I enjoy taking things slow and doing calmer activities. Most of all, a pet’s joy and comfort is my number one goal!
“Amazing pet sitter! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of my baby. I got regular updates and could tell my dog was happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!”

“Meg is fabulous. She took excellent care of our three fur babies while we were on vacation and came to the rescue when our flight was delayed. She was very understanding and added the extra day to our booking for us. That was very helpful since we were in an area with spotty wifi. I highly recommend her.”

“Erica was so wonderful to work with! She made everything so easy and was so kind to our cat. Erica spent extra time with her making sure she had all the pets she needed. Her updates and photos were so sweet. I would definitely use Erica’s services again and would highly recommend her!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, including feeding, providing fresh water, and ensuring they get regular exercise through walks. I have looked after my friends dog on multiple occasions, taking responsibility for their daily needs and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m actively looking to walk dogs as I enjoy walking them during the evening time. I’m a teacher so during school year, lm available 3 pm and onwards I am only offering dog walking service since I live in an apartment, it will be very difficult to take care of the dog here.
“Crystal was awesome! Helio is very shy and she was only able to see him when she came to get the key. So instead of play pictures Crystal took pictures of his food for us. I'm hoping after a few trips he will be curious enough to come out when he hears her. In time I'm sure they will be buddies ?”

About: I love taking care of all dogs. I’ve always lived in homes with pets and love them all! I have had multiple dogsitting jobs where I stayed in the owners house for up to a week, and also jobs of drop bys a few times a week for walks and playtime. Through rover I’ve had many new 4 legged friends stay overnight at my house and we always have a great time. My super friendly dog really loves to have a new playmate over also. Plenty of belly rubs and pics for parents guaranteed 😊 I love spending time with my own pup on the weekends after working all week and realized I really enjoy having even more doggies in our company! Lenny my golden doodle loves other dogs (borderline obsessed) and is very active, we find lots of trails and fun adventures! My floor is always covered with all his favorite toys. Couches and beds are fair game for all 4 legged friends hehe I live in a very puppy safe apartment, full of toys and comfy dog beds! I live near parks that I love to walk my dog at. Im also a nurse (for humans) but have a very good sense of safety and watching out for signs of not feeling 100%.

Sarah was amazing with Ramsey and I would absolutely book with her again. She sent notes and pictures every day and spent lots of time playing and walking him. She was even able to stop in for an extra day when I had a travel emergency last minute. I came home to a well loved and happy puppy!

Hannah has been super with our 2 dachshunds and 3 cats. She has been pet sitting for a couple of years with daily visits along with overnight stays when we’ve gone out of town. One of our dachshunds is very timid and guarded but warmed up to her very quickly. She even visited one day when the other dachshund chewed through the water line to a toilet and flooded the bathroom. She turned off the water and then sent us videos of what happened. Could have been so much worse if it weren’t for Hannah. We highly recommend Hannah for your pet sitting needs.
Alyssa is doing a wonderful job with my anxious chihuahua! She has been so accommodating and has been willing to go slow to help him adjust. He usually takes many repeat introductions before he is ok with anyone new, but he absolutely adored her starting from the very first visit!

Kristen was great! I am always so stressed leaving my dogs. She was able to accommodate me on short notice, and sent me photos of my dogs playing and on their walk. She was very communicative and made sure to follow my care plan. Highly recommend! Will book with her again.

Hayley did an incredible job with my dog! She went above and beyond playing with her during drop-in visits and via the pictures she sent, I could tell my dog was super happy. If you want your dog to be loved while you’re away Hayley is the person for it; so grateful!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
