About: Hello! I am a responsible and caring pet owner based in East Syracuse with lots of love to share. My only child has has flown south away from winter for college. So I am finding myself with extra time and loads of affection to share. Whether it's caring for your dogs or cats, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. From feeding and playtime to walks and cuddles; I’ll ensure they feel safe, loved and cared for while you're away. Feel free to reach out to discuss your pet care needs or if you’d like any additional information. Thank you for your consideration, Kristi V. I do work full time but have some flexibly with my schedule. I work at SU and live in East Syracuse. I'm free on the weekends and evenings. Safety and wellness for all animals is a priority to me. I'll make certain your pets are cared for and showered with affection. I know what's is like to worry when you're away from your fur baby.
“Adriana was great! We came in from out of town for our son’s graduation and had to leave our nervous chihuahua in his apartment. Adriana took all of peppers cues and by the end of the day pepper asked to be pet! Pepper does NOT let anyone new touch her so this was a testament to how comfortable she felt with Adriana! Wish we lived closer so we could use her all the time. Highly recommend!”

“Andrew was absolutely fantastic! He took care of my Loki for 15 days and I couldn't have asked for better service. He was incredibly reliable and flexible, which made my trip so much less stressful. Amazing service – 5 stars!”

“This was our second time booking Kilie for our two finicky cats. She was totally on top of things, and everything went perfectly smoothly. Having someone we can trust, and who’s so easy to work with, makes us feel much more comfortable traveling away from home, even just for a day or two. Thanks again, Kilie! We’ll be booking again soon!”

“Nora did a fantastic job with my cat! On our first meeting with her we felt very comfortable. I was quite nervous about how my cat would be but she sent pictures and comments everyday to ease my mind. I would highly recommend Nora. She is so sweet with my pet and very reliable. I hope that she will be available in the future! Thanks Nora!”

“Amanda did a great job with my fur babies! Already rebooked for my next trip. Great with communication and quick responses when ask for her availability. Thank you for the great service.❤️”

“Morgan was AMAZING!!! She watched my two bunnies while I went on vacation and I think they like her more than me. I have never seen my bunnies more happy! Morgan was the first person (not a family member) who watched them and I will definitely be using her in the future!”

“This was our first experience with Rover.com, and we were a little nervous about leaving our beloved senior kitty duo in the care of “strangers,” even though Alison and Robert had many exemplary reviews. Whatever hesitation we felt was immediately put to rest when we had our meet and greet. We found Alison and Robert both to be warm and caring and patient, but also incredibly professional and thorough. They asked a lot of questions (and made a lot of notes) about each kitteh’s likes, dislikes, medical and emotional needs, favorite spots and toys, etc. They didn’t blink at hand feeding our toothless Persian rescue, and even succeeded at brushing both cats regularly (a feat we are still marveling at since our efforts have always been met with swats and glares). They even gently removed a tummy mat that we’d been gingerly working on before we left. Incredible! And all of that doesn’t even include the best part of working with them, which was the comforting and informative communication we received after every visit. Each update included the basics like meal and potty status, but also humorous and endearing notes and photos that captured our babies at play and getting lots of love and individualized attention. These photos and notes enabled us to fully enjoy our time away, because we could regularly see how relaxed and happy our pets were. Bonus: many of the shots were so artistic and well done that they rivaled those of a professional photographer! In closing, I would tell anyone considering a booking with Alison and Robert that they truly understand and love animals and know how to cultivate trust. I can tell that our cats really enjoyed their time while we were away, and I bet that they wonder when they’ll get to spend time again with their new friends. Thank you, Alison and Robert. We are so fortunate to have found you!”

“Jennifer was phenomenal! She took great care of our pug, Charlie, while my wife and I were away at work. She sent thoughtful updates and adorable photos throughout the visit, which gave us real peace of mind. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be hiring her again!”

“Valerie did an amazing job taking care of our cat, Willow for the past week! She provided us with detailed updates, photos and videos each day which was such a comfort to us while we were away. Willow doesn’t warm up to new people very easily, but she seemed comfortable with Valerie very quickly, which is a testament to the loving attention she provided! We would happily book with Valerie again and recommend her to others in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their animals, which I enjoy doing. I am an animal lover and have always had dogs, or cats growing up. I will be leaving my job at the end of August, and will be inbetween jobs, so I will have a lot of free time. I am great at following instructions and ask questions to ensure I can provide the best care. At my family home, our dog sleeps on the bed, but I have worked with clients who have their dogs crated at night.

Just finished another booking with Jen, and she continues to be fantastic. She's helped us on multiple occasions, this time on short notice, and has always been reliable, professional, and polite. It's such a relief knowing our pup in good hands whenever we're away. At this point, she's become our go-to sitter whenever she's available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with. Thanks again, Jen!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
