About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and have grown up around dogs. I currently own a German Shepherd and Coton De Tulear, both of whom are my pride and joy, along with the rest of our pack. I understand that these precious souls mean so much to so many people, and promise that under my care and supervision they’ll be treated with the utmost respect and love, just as if they were my own! I’m currently working part-time and in school so while my availability may be limited I assure you my care for your pets isn’t! Please double-check that the dates/times you need align with my availability before submitting a booking. Thank you! It’s all dependent on what my clients homes are equipped with! If you have a fenced yard and high energy dogs, I’m more than happy to take them outside to play and explore, or play inside. Treats are always an option, as are pets, cuddles, and plenty of love for your fur babies!
“As always, Adrianna is always a great help and good friend to our pets. Her messages and photos are always comforting when we can’t be home with the critters.”

“Lee was fantastic. We had an issue on our end with our electronic locks. Lee worked around the issue and our handyman to make sure our pets were taken care of. Above and beyond. I'd certainly reccomend her and she is our first option next trip.”

“Amanda was responsive, caring, and incredibly trustworthy taking care of James and Winifred. She sent pictures and let me know of her arrival and departure. I would highly recommend her- she’s very comfortable with my rowdy dogs and they loved her immediately.”

About: Hi! My name is Paige, and I live in Pennellville, NY. I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina and am looking forward to spending my time doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals! I’ve always loved animals and would be happy to provide dog walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting for your pets. My family has a one-year-old Siberian Husky named Remi, so I’m very familiar with caring for energetic dogs. I also have previous pet-sitting experience with a Golden Retriever named Archie. During that time, I stopped by to feed him, take him on walks, play with him, and make sure he was well cared for while his owners were away. I am reliable, responsible, and will treat your pets as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, a quick check-in, or someone to stay with them while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care can fit into my weekly routines mostly on the weekends, during the week I am working as a marketing assistant and will be busy. I care for someone’s pet in there home and my own by making sure everything is clean and there is nothing on the ground that could be harmful to a pet.
“Nora did a fantastic job with my cat! On our first meeting with her we felt very comfortable. I was quite nervous about how my cat would be but she sent pictures and comments everyday to ease my mind. I would highly recommend Nora. She is so sweet with my pet and very reliable. I hope that she will be available in the future! Thanks Nora!”

“My cat felt safe interacting and snuggling up to John within minutes of first meeting him, and I think it’s because of John’s calm, intentional, gentle presence and demeanor. I couldn’t believe this is his first time cat-sitting because he was so good with my cat. He was quick to respond and was communicative throughout the visits, and asked many questions to get to know my cat’s routines and preferences. John was so polite and easygoing. He went above and beyond caring for my cat for the weekend, and this was a last minute scheduling given last minute plans. So grateful for John.”

“Andrew was absolutely fantastic! He took care of my Loki for 15 days and I couldn't have asked for better service. He was incredibly reliable and flexible, which made my trip so much less stressful. Amazing service – 5 stars!”

“Morgan was AMAZING!!! She watched my two bunnies while I went on vacation and I think they like her more than me. I have never seen my bunnies more happy! Morgan was the first person (not a family member) who watched them and I will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Hannah was excellent! From the first meet and greet through the two drop-ins. I appreciated her prompt communication and follow-up. We will be looking to book her in the future!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Thanks :)

About: I will care for your pets like they are my own, I have grown up around all animals and love them all. I am reliable and dependable I have my own pets who are like my children so I know how important it is to have someone responsible and loving to care for your pets. I absolutely love all animals I have 2 cats 2 dogs 1 a dalmatian the other old english bulldog, pug and beagle mix and also 3 parakeet, they also basically run our home 😄. I am a hair dresser as well so I wouldn't have an issue doing baths or brushing if it is needed. I also had a cat named Garfield who was special needs who I had to help get around as well as go to the bathroom, and I also care for my granddoggy and 2 grandkitties. I am very good with all animals and wish I could save them all. I currently have 2 cat and 2 dogs and 3 parakeets who are apart of my daily life. Walking, feeding, scooping litter, watering and playing with them all the time. I have 4 children who are adults now but in reality I actually have 11 because my animals are my life, and they pretty much own our home. I have a small yard and when my dogs are out im with them the entire time so your dog would never be alone and would also have playmates. I also have a crate if needed as well. I give lots of attention and treats, my dogs sleep with us or my 2 kids at home still who are 18, and 19.
About: I have had numerous pets in my care. I am an RN so I am able to give medication as needed. Will give belly scratches! I work part time as an RN . I am available for afternoon walks, bathroom breaks, dog park, vet appointments, playtime or boarding. Great love!! I have a very laid back pug who likes to sleep on the couch most of the day. She will play with your animals and make them feel at home.

About: I have a huge soft spot for all animals, I treat my own like she’s my daughter. I want nothing but the best for all pets I work remotely 4/5 weekdays, 5/5 if needed. So I’d likely be available to provide company and attention to any pets for most of the day. I take great care of my own pets and others, some might say I spoil my pets. No matter the environment I will love on your pets
About: I have always been the person a friend or family member reached out to for pet care for as long as I could remember. Dogs and cats have been a major part of my life since I was born, always having them in the house and growing up alongside them. Now at 26, I am a cat mom to two boys and an auntie to many pups and kitties! I love caring for animals because they give us so much love and affection; they are not just pets, but family. It sounds cliché but it’s so true - they are living heartbeats that deserve the best quality of life, just like humans. I work a regular 9-5, Monday through Friday at a local live entertainment organization. On occasion, I will have to work events. I also help part-time at a local pizza business. I am fantastic with communication and am an avid planner. Because I have two cats, I do not board at my apartment. I live in a one bedroom and am committed to giving them the best quality of life and limiting stressors. When I go away, I leave a detailed list of what my boys need, their routine, and all necessary contacts in case of an emergency. For any pets I watch, I will ask the same. I like to know every detail possible in order to keep routines on track and be prepared for any scenario.
About: I’ve always wanted a dog but was never allowed. So I make it a goal of talking to every dog I see! And that includes taking care of them as if they were mine. I will do my best to take care of them no matter the size, age and everything in between. I am currently not working so my schedule is open other than taking care of my own pets. So I’m pretty flexible with whatever your needs may be. I have my own fenced in yard if needing to take any dog with me for any time. Crating would be possible in my home and would only take for sleep time. But able to cater to any specific needs. Cats and dogs live in my home so used to those situations as well. Trying the best to be the most accommodating.
“Amy's the best. So sweet and did a great job caring for our little Willy. She sent me several photos and was available last minute to take care of our little guy. He looks like he had a great time with Amy and I trust her to watch him any time. Thank you for all your help!”

About: Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their animals, which I enjoy doing. I am an animal lover and have always had dogs, or cats growing up. I will be leaving my job at the end of August, and will be inbetween jobs, so I will have a lot of free time. I am great at following instructions and ask questions to ensure I can provide the best care. At my family home, our dog sleeps on the bed, but I have worked with clients who have their dogs crated at night.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brewerton
Jennifer once again took wonderful care of our dog. Since the beginning she has been great by getting to know our dog and her many quirks! Not to mention it takes our girl a little time to get super comfortable with new people and she has warmed right up to Jennifer, which says so much! Also our girl was under the weather this particular day and because Jennifer communicates so well and kept us posted, we knew she was doing ok. Thank you so much Jennifer!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
