About: I will care for your pets like they are my own, I have grown up around all animals and love them all. I am reliable and dependable I have my own pets who are like my children so I know how important it is to have someone responsible and loving to care for your pets. I absolutely love all animals I have 2 cats 2 dogs 1 a dalmatian the other old english bulldog, pug and beagle mix and also 3 parakeet, they also basically run our home 😄. I am a hair dresser as well so I wouldn't have an issue doing baths or brushing if it is needed. I also had a cat named Garfield who was special needs who I had to help get around as well as go to the bathroom, and I also care for my granddoggy and 2 grandkitties. I am very good with all animals and wish I could save them all. I currently have 2 cat and 2 dogs and 3 parakeets who are apart of my daily life. Walking, feeding, scooping litter, watering and playing with them all the time. I have 4 children who are adults now but in reality I actually have 11 because my animals are my life, and they pretty much own our home. I have a small yard and when my dogs are out im with them the entire time so your dog would never be alone and would also have playmates. I also have a crate if needed as well. I give lots of attention and treats, my dogs sleep with us or my 2 kids at home still who are 18, and 19.
“We hired Jen for four consecutive days while we were out of town to check in on our pug, Charlie. She stopped by each day to feed her, take her outside, and spend some quality time playing with her. Jen was incredibly reliable and communicative throughout the entire process. She even adjusted one of her visits by a couple of hours to accommodate a scheduling change we had, which we really appreciated. Before the booking, Jen also took the time to meet with my wife and I (and, of course, Charlie!) so we could walk through everything in person. That gave us a lot of confidence knowing Charlie would be in good hands. We'll absolutely be booking Jen again. She's dependable, thoughtful, and clearly cares about the pets she looks after. Highly recommended!”

“Meghanne is wonderful! She provides excellent care for my Great Pyrenees and I never have to worry about her while I’m away. She was also great about giving her her allergy meds. It’s so good to find someone who is so dependable and provides so much love to my pup when I’m not here.”

About: I have a degree in animal behavior that has prepared me to properly care for animals, among other skills. I have also owned dogs my entire life, including training one of my current dogs. I have volunteered at a dog rescue for about 6 years. I now work at an animal rescue that has me trained to give medications. I have also owned a senior cat for 4 years which has me comfortable cleaning litter boxes and administering medications. I currently have two part time jobs, and typically have 2 or 3 days completely available. On days I work I am available most evenings and occasionally mornings. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clay
We couldn't ask for a better dog sitter. Pam consistently goes above and beyond in every way. We have high-energy stubborn cattle dogs, and she handles them with confidence, patience, and genuine care. Our dogs love her, but they also respect her, which says a lot about her ability to connect with them. She's smart, proactive, and thoughtful. She doesn't just follow instructions—she anticipates our needs, thinks through situations on her own, and always makes decisions with our dogs' best interests in mind. She's also an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and making sure we're always informed. Her communication gives us peace of mind and makes us feel completely comfortable whenever we're away. Beyond her professionalism, she's very kind. We can tell she cares about our dogs. We trust her completely and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone exceptional to care for their pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
