“Jen was wonderful attending to my dog's needs twice a day while I was on vacation. She sent me pictures and gave me updates with every visit! I'll definitely rebook her again, if she's available!”

“Kilie is the best! I am always anxious about leaving my cat alone when I’m out of town, but she alleviates that anxiety with lots of pictures and updates of my kitty. She is always prompt, and my Telly absolutely loves her. She takes the time to snuggle with him and play with him, which is essential since he is very people-oriented. Please book her! She’s amazing!”

About: Hi! My name is Paige, and I live in Pennellville, NY. I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina and am looking forward to spending my time doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals! I’ve always loved animals and would be happy to provide dog walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting for your pets. My family has a one-year-old Siberian Husky named Remi, so I’m very familiar with caring for energetic dogs. I also have previous pet-sitting experience with a Golden Retriever named Archie. During that time, I stopped by to feed him, take him on walks, play with him, and make sure he was well cared for while his owners were away. I am reliable, responsible, and will treat your pets as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, a quick check-in, or someone to stay with them while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care can fit into my weekly routines mostly on the weekends, during the week I am working as a marketing assistant and will be busy. I care for someone’s pet in there home and my own by making sure everything is clean and there is nothing on the ground that could be harmful to a pet.

About: I will care for your pets like they are my own, I have grown up around all animals and love them all. I am reliable and dependable I have my own pets who are like my children so I know how important it is to have someone responsible and loving to care for your pets. I absolutely love all animals I have 2 cats 2 dogs 1 a dalmatian the other old english bulldog, pug and beagle mix and also 3 parakeet, they also basically run our home 😄. I am a hair dresser as well so I wouldn't have an issue doing baths or brushing if it is needed. I also had a cat named Garfield who was special needs who I had to help get around as well as go to the bathroom, and I also care for my granddoggy and 2 grandkitties. I am very good with all animals and wish I could save them all. I currently have 2 cat and 2 dogs and 3 parakeets who are apart of my daily life. Walking, feeding, scooping litter, watering and playing with them all the time. I have 4 children who are adults now but in reality I actually have 11 because my animals are my life, and they pretty much own our home. I have a small yard and when my dogs are out im with them the entire time so your dog would never be alone and would also have playmates. I also have a crate if needed as well. I give lots of attention and treats, my dogs sleep with us or my 2 kids at home still who are 18, and 19.
“Courtney and Caleb were awesome. They are completely trustworthy with your pets and your home. They stopped by the house before they started their visits and got the lay of the land. They checked in every time they visited the cats and took many pics. I was at ease knowing they were taking care of ShoSho and Hildy.”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Thanks :)
“Alison and Robert are the best! ⭐️ they take such thoughtful care of my cat Bobbi and I am super grateful to have someone I can trust to care for her whenever I am away.”

“Hannah was excellent! From the first meet and greet through the two drop-ins. I appreciated her prompt communication and follow-up. We will be looking to book her in the future!”

About: I’ve always wanted a dog but was never allowed. So I make it a goal of talking to every dog I see! And that includes taking care of them as if they were mine. I will do my best to take care of them no matter the size, age and everything in between. I am currently not working so my schedule is open other than taking care of my own pets. So I’m pretty flexible with whatever your needs may be. I have my own fenced in yard if needing to take any dog with me for any time. Crating would be possible in my home and would only take for sleep time. But able to cater to any specific needs. Cats and dogs live in my home so used to those situations as well. Trying the best to be the most accommodating.
About: I have been working with dogs for 5 years now. I work at a dog daycare, training, grooming, and boarding facility when I am home from college. I have successfully completed packpro training and am also dog first aid and CPR certified. I have such a great love for dogs and would love nothing more than to continue to work with them while away in school. I am a full time student at SUNY Upstate medical University, working toward my doctorate in physical therapy, but my schedule is pretty open early mornings and late afternoons. Schedule is completely open on the weekends and very flexible. I am a trained professional in dog safety and will make sure it is my upmost priority to make sure your dog is in a safe environment at all times. My house is very close to a canal that is a perfect place to take dogs for a walk. There is also a park directly adjacent from my house that dogs would love to sniff around at. Very dog friendly neighborhood.
About: Hello everyone! My name is Lory and I am a stay at home mom and I also have 3 fur babies myself. Two peekapoo’s and one cat. I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 30 years and have experience with intervertebral disc disease, expressing bladder’s, administering medications orally, physical therapy and CPR. I also have experience with paralyzed dogs. I will take care of your fur baby as if it was my own! I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday- Friday. Some weekend availability for established clients. I ensure you that your pups will be in perfect hands! I love all animals, but especially dogs. If you’re looking for someone to let your pup out on your lunch break, or just for a little extra exercise, I am your girl!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clay
We couldn't ask for a better dog sitter. Pam consistently goes above and beyond in every way. We have high-energy stubborn cattle dogs, and she handles them with confidence, patience, and genuine care. Our dogs love her, but they also respect her, which says a lot about her ability to connect with them. She's smart, proactive, and thoughtful. She doesn't just follow instructions—she anticipates our needs, thinks through situations on her own, and always makes decisions with our dogs' best interests in mind. She's also an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and making sure we're always informed. Her communication gives us peace of mind and makes us feel completely comfortable whenever we're away. Beyond her professionalism, she's very kind. We can tell she cares about our dogs. We trust her completely and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone exceptional to care for their pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Clay with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
