I have been a dog owner for the last 11 years. I also volunteer at a local dog shelter, which I have been a part of for the last 4 years. I will help w/ dogs of any size or breed and cats. I have also put my personal dogs through training, which can be beneficial when helping with someone else’s dog. I invested in a course called Shelter Playgroup Alliance to help me learn and improve my skills in reading dog behavior and body language.

Your dog will get play time, a good walk and lots of love. I can also bathe them if needed. I have learned a lot about enrichment, which is great for mental exercise.

Candice took super-good care of my elderly cat! She the (the cat!) doesn't often accept strangers easily, but apparently felt quite at home with Candice, going right to her for pets and snuggles while we were away. We were very relieved that all went well ...

Candice did a fantastic job dropping in on our pups while we were away for the day. This was our first time ever using a pet sitter/drop-in service, and she made it such a great experience. My dogs usually take some time to warm up to new people, but they almost immediately took to her. She was attentive, caring, and made sure all of their needs were met. It gave us great peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!
Candace was great with Remy and gave us peace of mind while we were out for the evening. She was friendly, reliable, and communicated well throughout the visit. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Remy and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. We came home to a happy pup, and everything was exactly as expected. Schedule
I currently work FT, but am available early mornings, nights and weekends to walk dogs or do drop in visits. My schedule on the weekends is very flexible.
