“Margaret was so helpful and good with our dogs. She was communicative and responsive, she took our dogs to the park multiple times and was a gracious house guest. We are very grateful for her help and will contact her again!”

“Paige watched our senior dog and GSD puppy for an overnight house sitting stay. Everything went smoothly with Paige. Our pups were well cared for & we enjoyed receiving pics of our girls both days that Paige spent with them.”

“Marie was wonderful with Bailey. We were away for long stretch and Maria sent many photos and videos which helped being away less stressful. Maria was very communitive and respectful. I would not hesitate to ask Maria to take care of our Bailey.”

About: I absolutely love pets, all kinds and all sizes! I have always pet sat for family and friends growing up, and have helped raise a litter of puppies on my own. I currently have 2 cats and a dog myself, and have experience rabbit sitting as well. I love to get outside when I can and happy to read/study with a cuddly buddy by my side. Let me know how I can help! I love the beach, the mountains, parks, and staying inside with a furry friend. Hit me up if you need me! I work 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday so happy to stay the night and hang with any furry friends in the mornings and after work, as well as plenty of time on the weekends! I have my own car and live in Syracuse. My cats are both indoor cats for their own safety and for the safety of the local wildlife. We do not have a fenced in yard ourselves so we make sure to walk our dog, Miss Jo, as often as we can, and are actively teaching her safety commands and recall.
“Thank you, Lee. Lee was incredible. She took good care of my spoiled rotten boy as if he was her own. She did more than asked of her during her stay at my home. You can tell she's a dog lover from the moment she entered my home to meet Beau and me I felt at ease leaving my boy with her. She sent photos during her stay which made me feel that he was in good hands. I will definitely call Lee the next time I need a sitter. Again, thank you Lee!!”

“Diana was fantastic and we would 100% book her again. Our two dogs took to her quickly at our initial meeting, which put me at great ease. She stayed in our home for 3 nights with our 11 month old puppy and our 14 year old dog. They both have completely different personalities and needs. Diana sent us videos and photos of the dogs, and little updates each day. The house was also well taken care of and looked as if no one had been here. We were able to enjoy our trip without worry and knew the dogs were in good hands. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: I began working as a neighborhood pet sitter and dog walker in my early teens. Since then I have accumulated a decade of experience in pet care, including working at rescue, doggy daycare, and pet boarding facilities. I have always striven to achieve the highest quality of care. If your pet has a complex care routine, rest assured that I will show great attention to detail in meeting your pet’s needs. I have enthusiastically accommodated dogs and cats with special behavioral, emotional, and medical needs. I have significant experience in administering prescription medications, including pills, topicals, and injections. I also have over a decade of experience in pet-sitting for exotic animals, including snakes, lizards, frogs, fish, chickens, rats, and various invertebrates. I am currently working part-time, so I have ample availability! I am free throughout the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. I am free before 6AM and after 5PM every day of the week. I am not available from 6AM-5PM on Thursdays, Fridays, or Sundays. I have been visiting client’s homes for pet care for many years. It’s extremely important to me to treat client’s homes and house rules with the utmost respect.

About: I have a huge soft spot for all animals, I treat my own like she’s my daughter. I want nothing but the best for all pets I work remotely 4/5 weekdays, 5/5 if needed. So I’d likely be available to provide company and attention to any pets for most of the day. I take great care of my own pets and others, some might say I spoil my pets. No matter the environment I will love on your pets
“Jenn was a hero! While on vacation my first house sitter bailed on me! Rover contacted a bunch of potential sitters. Jenn agreed to help out. She was so awesome to my 2 stressed dogs! Her communication, attention to the dogs was incredible!”

“Amanda was great, she keep me up to date with pics on how Lola was doing and what they were up to! My apartment looked fantastic on my return, and Lola looked happy well cared for. I will definitely request Amanda’s services again!”

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
“Madison was amazing. She was punctual and communicated with me regularly. She took very good care of my 14 week old puppy. He is a rambunctious puppy but Madison was patient and calm. I highly recommend Madison to take care of your pets.”

“Alexis did an amazing job caring for our home and older dog while we were away. We plan to book with Alexis again in the future, and happily recommend her service to others! Thank you so much for all your effort and great communication!!”

“Taryn withstood the remnants of a hurricane and two additional storm fronts in our home caring for our puppy who did not cooperate with storm warnings to get to the basement. She took excellent care of our puppy and we appreciate that beyond words!”

Hadley D did an excellent job watching our dogs, Izzie and Sophie, in our home. Even though our dogs have very different personalities and needs, Hadley treated each one as if they were her own- with great care, respect, and love. We would definitely recommend her and plan to rebook with her.

Justin is absolutely amazing. My GSD is a rescue, and I was really worried to leave her for the first time and go out of town on a business trip. Justin responded and he didn't just take care of her while I was gone ... he started working with her to build her confidence and improve her quality of life. Such amazing results in those 8 days ... now he's OUR trainer. He teaches me as much as her. Car phobia? Worked through, gone. Curiosity about the world? Growing like mad. Having fun every day? More and more. She's really a different dog. I really just came on Rover to find a pet sitter. But I found someone with enough training and know-how to truly change the course of my and Stevie's life together. And I'm not overstating that. I would never have known how to do these things without his help. Whatever your needs are, if you can snag Justin for your pups, you absolutely should!

Here's a polished and standout version of your Rover review: "Alexis was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! They were clearly loved and well cared for in her hands. Despite the rainy weather, she managed to sneak in walks and keep their tails wagging. Alexis was respectful, prompt, polite, and a total pleasure to work with. We felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in such kind and capable hands. We would absolutely book with her again!"
