“Nora is truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She took care of my dogs, Lucy and Betty, and went above and beyond in every possible way. During her time with them, an unexpected and serious fight broke out—their first ever—and it was a terrifying situation. Nora handled it with incredible professionalism, calmness, and expertise. She acted immediately, knowing exactly what to do without hesitation, and managed the situation safely and responsibly. I was so grateful she was the one there in that moment. She even had a first aid kit on hand and was able to tend to their wounds right away, which gave me immense peace of mind. What meant just as much was her communication throughout the entire ordeal. She kept me informed every step of the way with clarity, compassion, and reassurance during what was a very scary time for all of us. Her thoughtfulness and transparency made an enormous difference. I trust Nora completely and wholeheartedly. She demonstrated not only skill and preparedness, but genuine care and dedication. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to have her looking after their pets. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking truly outstanding care for their furbabies.”

“Maria is reliable, communicates clearly and often, and noted all the details we had left her to care for our pups. She handled them with care and learned each one’s nuances. The transition back home after our extended vacation was smooth and our pups were in step with their regular routine. We would highly recommend Maria to anyone!”

“Trix did a great job watching our dogs for the week. She was very responsive to communication, arrived on time, and sent frequent updates. My one dog was having some stomach problems and had an accident in the house. Trix handled this great, kept us informed without panicking, and allowed us to continue to enjoy our time away. Will be using again.”

“Adriana does such a great job managing our two younger (read: energetic!) dogs while protecting our elder dog from their antics and still making sure all three have what they need to be happy and well. It's such a blessing to be able to leave town without a single worry, knowing they are in such good hands.”

“This was our second pet/house sitting service we booked with Lee and we couldn't be happier. Our senior pup and two kitties were so well cared for which is a huge comfort to us both when we go away. Our home was kept clean and tidy too! Lee is just wonderful to work with and a tremendous help. Thank you Lee!”

“Riley took care of our three dogs and our cat for four nights. He did a great job! One of our dogs is quite Senior and takes some extra patience and support, and we're so grateful Riley was here for him. It's hard to leave them, but we felt very confident with Riley, and he gave us great peace of mind. He sent pictures and didn't hesitate to text me a question when he wasn't sure if something our old man was doing was normal for him. It was! But, I'm so glad he asked. Riley kept our home just as we left it, and we are especially glad to have found someone that was able to stay at our home while we were gone so our pets could have as much normalcy as possible. We highly recommend Riley if you are looking for excellent care for you pets!”
“Jenna was great- responsive, friendly and responsible. Sitting my skittish, introverted rescue pup takes an extra level, and I really appreciate her knowledge and comfort around animals!”

“Thomas was fantastic with our girls! He provided detailed updates throughout the stay and was incredibly observant, paying close attention to their needs and routines. Our husky can be a bit high-maintenance, but Thomas handled everything with care and made sure she was well taken care of. He was reliable, communicative, and treated our home with respect. We felt completely comfortable having him stay at our house and had peace of mind knowing our girls were in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Thomas again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.”

“Diana was fantastic and we would 100% book her again. Our two dogs took to her quickly at our initial meeting, which put me at great ease. She stayed in our home for 3 nights with our 11 month old puppy and our 14 year old dog. They both have completely different personalities and needs. Diana sent us videos and photos of the dogs, and little updates each day. The house was also well taken care of and looked as if no one had been here. We were able to enjoy our trip without worry and knew the dogs were in good hands. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter.”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. We have an elderly dog, 17 years old. She can't hear and can only see out of one eye. Nicole was very patient with her, making sure she got in and out of the house in the horrible weather we had around the New Year. Our under 1 year old kitten adored Nicole. We were afraid that our pets wouldn't want us to come home! Nicole kept us up to date, sent pictures which were important to my 10 year old daughter, and kept the house nice and tidy. It was so nice to be able to go away and not worry. She also brought in our mail and had the driveway snowblowed! She went above and beyond. Highly recommend!”

“We had to go out of town for a week for our wedding. As it can already be a stressful time planning a wedding, Emalyn kept us updated every single day with a picture of our dog and ensured she was doing great, giving us a peaceful mind for our big day. Emalyn did an absolutely amazing job. I have a pitbull rescue that is very hyper and Emalyn made sure she had her full attention and playful times with her. I will definitely book Emalyn again to watch our dog again!”

Let me know when your fur baby needs someone to take care of them. I only take 1-2 dogs for daycare. I feel I offer a calmer environment for those clients and dogs who don’t want to place their dogs with many other dogs during the day. I can give them a lot more attention. I can also care for your dog for longer hours past regular daycare hours. It is for this reason I have extended time rates at 5.00 for each additional hour past 9 hours. I have a fully 6 ft fenced in yard. I watch them when they are outside. I can play with them inside or out depending on the weather. I keep my gate locked. I’m retired so my days are pretty flexible . I can play with them inside or in the backyard. If it’s too hot or cold we stay in. My yard is completely fenced in with a 6 ft wooden fence. They are like family when they stay with us. Let me know if any special needs.i also take guinea pigs and rabbits.
“Allison was awesome. We agreed on a schedule, she stuck to it, very dependable. She kept in touch, told me when she arrived at the house and when she left, gave me updates on my boys and sent pics. When I got home the dogs acted as if I had never left. I'd recommend Allison to anyone looking for someone to stay with their pups.”

About: I have extensive experience in pet care. My fenced backyard offers a safe and spacious environment for dogs to play, and in the summer they can even enjoy swimming. During the first few days of their stay, I usually prepare a special fried rice and beef mix to help them adjust to the new environment. Some dogs also enjoy a small ice cream treat after meals. I am truly dedicated to ensuring that every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well-cared for while staying with me. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine. I follow a consistent schedule every day: morning feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and a short walk. Throughout the day, I provide playtime, mental stimulation, and regular check-ins to make sure every pet is comfortable and safe. In the evenings, I do another walk, feeding, and quiet bonding time. On a weekly basis, I clean and sanitize pet areas, wash bedding, and review each pet’s needs so I can keep their routine as close as possible to what they’re used to at home. In My Home: I provide a structured, safe, and comfortable environment. Pets follow a consistent routine including regular feeding times, potty breaks, supervised play, and walks. I give each pet a designated rest area with clean bedding, fresh water, and personal space. I supervise pets closely and make sure they never access unsafe areas or open doors. I keep the home clean, calm, and pet-friendly at all times. In Clients’ Homes: I maintain each pet’s routine exactly as the owner requests. I follow their feeding schedule, walking pattern, training rules, and preferred daily habits. I send regular updates, photos, and reports to give owners peace of mind. I respect the home, keep everything tidy, and ensure all doors, gates, and crates are secured after every visit. My focus is always on safety, consistency, and keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment.
“Yelitza was absolutely wonderful with my pups. She stayed with them at my house while I was away, and spent plenty of time with them to keep them happy and loved, - walks, plays, and snuggles. She was very engaged and meticulous, and I was very happy about the whole experience.”

About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all personalities and needs, especially reactive dogs and strong pullers. I have completed training with my own reactive chocolate lab through Justin’s Canine Campus, along with continuing training work at home, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read dog behavior closely. As a teacher, I’m dependable, calm, and attentive, and I naturally bring those qualities into caring for pets. I’ve loved animals since I was young and also continue to volunteer at animal shelters (Helping Hounds & HumaneCNY) giving me experience with dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or reassurance. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. As a teacher, I have summers off and will soon be working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, and quality attention. During the school year, I’m also an early bird and start my mornings with an average 2-mile walk with my own dog, so staying active and keeping pets on a routine is something I truly enjoy. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I try to keep pets on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also make sure their space stays clean and that they feel calm while their owners are away.
Woodard pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maria watched my sweet little Bailey for five days while I attended a wedding out of state. Bailey loved Maria as soon as she met her. She sent photos throughout my trip, which helped ease my worry about leaving Bailey. I will definitely ask Maria to watch my girl in the future.
Josiah was amazing! He came for a meet and greet prior to our vacation and he just has a calm about him that immediately put both us and the pups at ease. He sent pics and updates throughout the week and left the house just as he found it. I felt completely comfortable having him stay and will definitely be requesting he return!

Fiza was absolutely amazing. I was away for 8 nights and she stayed at my house and cared for my 2 labs. She was great. She checked in with me with updates and pix of my dogs a few times which was very nice. They had a blast with her. My house was perfect when I got home. 100% would have her stay again and would recommend.
