“Kristen did a great job with our dog Roscoe. He seemed very happy and we got lots of updates on how he was doing. It was very nice not to have to worry about him and we were able to enjoy our vacation. Thanks again Kristen!”

“Erica did a wonderful job while we were away for my daughter’s college graduation! Our two cats were well cared for and she was always there on time. I especially loved the pictures she sent during her visits. I will definitely use Erica’s services the next time we have the need.”

“I can’t recommend her enough! She took such amazing care of my dogs and truly treated them like her own. You can tell she genuinely loves animals, and my dogs absolutely adore her. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were safe, loved, and well cared for while I was away. She’s reliable, caring, attentive, and always available anytime I need her. She truly goes above and beyond, and I would trust her with my dogs anytime!”

“Susan completed two consecutive drop-in visits over the weekend for our young kitty. She sent updates and pics each time and I was never concerned about our cat’s well being. She looked happy and healthy upon our return :). Do not hesitate to reach out to Susan.”

“Highly recommend! Trix was very responsive and took such great care in watching our 16 yr old diabetic kitty during our vacation. She checked in on him twice daily to feed, give his insulin, clean litter box, and keep some company. He has been known to act out a little when we are gone but there were no issues, which I attribute in part to her excellent care. We enjoyed getting daily check in updates and pics. Thank you, Trix, and look forward to reaching out again next time we need some pet sitting :)”

About: I grew up with a dog and 2 cats my entire childhood. I now live with my boyfriend, Nick, our German shepherd, Willow, and cat, Stella. I still have rescues at my childhood home as well: my 11 year old shepherd/chow Max, and 2 kitties Rusty & Izzy. Very experienced with shepherds and other large active breeds. I get home from work by 5:30 or 6 pm on weekdays and I am typically home all weekend. Weekends we love taking our German shepherd to many of the local parks or on hikes. Jamesville beach is our favorite! Our dog is home with her dad during the day, and gets crated for the hour that he leaves for work and I come home. She is usually crated for a few hours on the weekend when we go grocery shopping. Our cat is very self sufficient with her water fountain and auto kibble feeder.
“Josiah, an exceptional individual, went above and beyond to care for my cat while I was away on a work trip. Before my last check-in, he even messaged me to inquire if there was anything else he could assist with. I kindly requested that he bring in a package that was conveniently located outside my door, and he graciously obliged. Upon my return home, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he had diligently washed and cleaned the cat food bowls. Josiah is an exceptional pet sitter, and I highly recommend his services. I have already rescheduled him for another work trip!”

“Chen does a great job! She is very consistent, pleasant, and professional. My kitties enjoy her and even my shy Phanyon is warming up! I was thrilled with the care she provided. I would use her again for sure.”

“Jamie was super nice. Met with us a few days before the drop in date, spent some time with my dog who loved her right away. We will definitely be asking her to check on him again in the future.”

“Georgianne was absolutely phenomenal! She communicated very well and kept us in the loop with every visit she made! Our dog loved her and we will absolutely be using her again! Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a kind person who’s very good with your fur babies!”

“Amanda is an amazing person who loves animals and works hard to exceed the needs of her customers. She is very resonsive, communicates very well and leaves nothing to chance. She took wonderful care of my goldendoodle. I highly recommend Amanda to sit your pet.”

About: I have had numerous pets in my care. I am an RN so I am able to give medication as needed. Will give belly scratches! I work part time as an RN . I am available for afternoon walks, bathroom breaks, dog park, vet appointments, playtime or boarding. Great love!! I have a very laid back pug who likes to sleep on the couch most of the day. She will play with your animals and make them feel at home.
“Donna was excellent! What a gem! When we reached out to Rover to find a cat sitter, we were in dire need due to a family health emergency. We have 2 cats and one who needs medical attention. Donna made time in her schedule to take us as clients. Not only that, Donna came over to our home to meet with us and the cats on a very short time frame before we left. Without us even telling her, she brought our mail and any packages inside. Our cats and home was left in great condition and we were honored to have her. Truly a wonderful experience!!!”

“Kaylah has been really attentive with Mylo and does what I ask of her to do in terms of taking care of our pup Mylo. She gives me updates after every visit, which I appreciate so much! Thanks so much for all your help this summer Kaylah! :)”

About: I have a degree in animal behavior that has prepared me to properly care for animals, among other skills. I have also owned dogs my entire life, including training one of my current dogs. I have volunteered at a dog rescue for about 6 years. I now work at an animal rescue that has me trained to give medications. I have also owned a senior cat for 4 years which has me comfortable cleaning litter boxes and administering medications. I currently have two part time jobs, and typically have 2 or 3 days completely available. On days I work I am available most evenings and occasionally mornings. I am unable to board animals at my house because of my other pets. However, I am able to commute to client's places. I am comfortable crating when I am not there if it is requested.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Woodard
Josiah was wonderful as always, but this time, my notoriously shy cat (who hides under the bed any time any one visits) came out to meet Josiah every time he came!! It''s taken a year for that to happen, but Josiah has been patient with him and finally got rewarded. I will always choose Rover and I will always choose Josiah.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodard. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
