1. Rachel L.
About: I have two dog at home back in Buffalo where I am originally from. My friends ask me to help them take care of their dogs whenever they’re on vacation. I am currently on the pre-vet track studying nutrition science & neuroscience at Syracuse University with an intention to apply for vet school for Fall 2028. I have interned at vet clinics and volunteer as a dog walker at local dog shelters. I am currently a full-time student at Syracuse University. I have a 3.5 hour break between my first class and my next class which I have availability to pet sit/dog walk. I am free on Fridays (after 11am) and all day Saturday & Sunday during the school year. Summer hours are more available. I have experience in animal care as I take care of my own pets at home and I have experience at vet clinics which allows me to have a wider knowledge about animals especially dogs.
2. Alex R.
“Alex is always so wonderful with my cat and definitely gives me peace of mind if I need to be away for a few days. He is communicative and very flexible! I always appreciate his help.”
3. Cherie S.
“Cherie did a great job visiting and feeding my three cats. During the meet and greet, she immediately went to meet and pet the kitties; not all sitters in my experience pay much attention to them during a meet and greet, which can be concerning, but Cherie was all in, doling out lots of love. She also sent photos during her visits. We highly recommend Cherie!”
4. Jillian D.
“Jillian did a great job caring for my dog. She showed up when expected, played with him & fed him and sent me pictures! I’d hire her again!! You should too!”
5. Pamela S.
“Pam did an amazing job with my 3 kitties. She sent pictures with all of the updates, and was even able to win over the shy guy of the bunch. Will continue to book in the future.”
6. Maggie E.
“Maggie was fantastic! Quick to respond and great with my pups!!! Definitely plan to use her again in the future!!!”
7. Dana S.
“Dana did an excellent job caring for our two cats. She gave them lots of attention, which helped us to feel better about being away. She also watered my garden daily, which was a huge bonus. And we especially appreciated the detailed daily updates and multiple pictures. We definitely felt like our cherished pets were in good hands!”
8. Donna C.
“Donna is a loving, caring, and thoughtful pet owner and caregiver. She has been a pet owner for decades and has also frequently watched other people's pets while they were away from home. She has watched my pets privately for years and is experienced in administering medication to them as well. I always felt comfortable when I knew my pets were being cared for by her, because I knew she would care for them like they were her own. I only have cats for her to watch, but I know she has a soft spot for dogs and loves to watch them too! I would recommend her to anyone who wanted to have their pet looked after with the love and care that they deserve.”
9. Kirsten K.
“I would highly recommend Kirsten as a pet sitter. She visited my home twice a day for nine days with zero problems. She always provided several pictures and detailed notes for each visit, and I could see both of my cats were comfortable and happy when she was there. She was able to administer medicine and kept litter boxes and feeding areas clean. I had been concerned about leaving my cats for so long but Kirsten alleviated any worries I had. Thank you so much for your services Kirsten!l”
10. Sarah H.
“Sarah is the absolute BEST!! My dog thinks she is his gf. And so does my cat. She is sweet, loving, attentive, and will treat your babes like one of your own. Experienced in Vet Med, with an amazing knowledge of cats, dogs, small animals, and horses as well! She is the ONLY person I felt comfortable with leaving my two horses ( one that is currently suffering from a severe illness and is at end of life ), dog, and cat. Highly recommend. We love her!”
11. Jessica C.
“Jessica is just the sweetest! She was so wonderful with our kitties, I could tell by the pictures that they love her!! Next time we go away, we will be requesting Jessica!!!!!!!”
12. Courtney & Caleb M.
“Courtney was great! She agreed to check in on my cat last minute for me. My cat can be very shy but warmed up to Courtney immediately. She has lots of experience owning pets as well as fostering, so I knew my cat was in good hands. I will definitely book with her in the future!”
13. Susan M.
“Susan did an amazing job helping us take care of our dog. She sent updates with pictures every day that made us feel at ease, and we always came home to a very happy and relaxed dog :) She is super sweet and I highly recommend her to everyone on Rover looking for a sitter!”
14. Sabrena P.
About: I love animals more than anything. I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I currently have 6 cats and I've cared for friends pets also. I work part time from home. I can be there for your pets day and night. They can roam free or have their own bedroom. My house is full of cat trees, scratchers, toys, beds, tunnels and more. There is a catio for cats and a huge back yard for small dogs.
15. Mariana R.
“Where do I even start?? Mariana is nothing short of AMAZING! From the first time I met her from the pups “meet and greet”, I just felt so at ease with her sweet and calm energy. I have one pup that is a little high anxiety and weary of strangers, and he went right up to her :). Normally I left my babies with my parents when I was out of town, but as they’re aging I worried about the burden on them. I never thought I’d find someone like family to care for them until I found Mariana. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and so caring!! I loved all the pics and videos she sent me, and she gives my babies cuddle time! Do not hesitate to use Mariana for the absolute best care for your babies! I am so glad I found her!!! The peace of mind is worth its weight in gold :)”
16. Allison W.

17. Melissa K.
“Melissa has been a real lifesaver for me many, many times. She's great with both my pets (a rambunctious cat and anxious dog) and can often come over on short notice. She is a great communicator and definitely will take great care of your animals! Highly recommend!”
18. Shannon & Kevin M.
“My cat loved Shannon! I will definitely book with her again.”
