We ultimately decided to try an overnight sitter first, with the plan to move forward if it felt like a good fit—and we’re so glad we did. Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter. She loves the furbabies like her own, and Milo is just as sweet and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!”

About: I have experience in wildlife rehabilitation, zookeeping, managing horses. I’m comfortable doing most basic animal care for a variety of animals and happy to learn about anything I haven’t had experience with. Dogs, cats, reptiles, hoofstock, poultry and so on! My schedule is fairly flexible with some notice. Available early mornings, late nights and in between. I am happy to adjust my schedule based on each animal’s routine and needs. I am attentive and observant of each animal’s needs and routines. Happy to follow specific schedules and tasks to adhere to their normal care standards. While I do have a yard, it is unfenced so dogs go out on a leash unless they have exceptional recall. Often joking or walks around the neighborhood. All animal’s are crated or otherwise contained when left alone for short periods and always separated at feeding times.

About: Growing up, I’ve always had so many pets. My family has always seemed to attract strays, and I always loved to be involved in taking care of them. I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds and ages of cats and dogs. I currently own 3 cats and take care of my moms dog often. I was on Rover for a while after covid and am now looking for some extra income post-grad. I work remote so will be around and available during work hours! I am currently working remotely so I can be available on demand to take care of your pets! My schedule is very light in order to give them the attention and care they need. In my home, my pets are treated like my own children. Only pet owners know the feeling! To keep pets healthy, you have to keep them happy. Many people only think taking care of pets is feeding, giving them water, changing the litter, but pets love to feel appreciated! Walking them, playing with them, it’s all very important, and I want to offer this for your pets.

About: I am an experience animal care taker. I grew up on a farm with all sorts of wild and domesticated animals. About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all personalities and needs, especially reactive dogs and strong pullers. I have completed training with my own reactive chocolate lab through Justin’s Canine Campus, along with continuing training work at home, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read dog behavior closely. About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. I am flexible so just let me know of anything and I can adapt!

About: Owning dogs has been nothing but a learning journey. I’ve done dog sitting for years for family and friends. I’ve had my current dog, Raylie, for 6 years now. I am a part time worker at a dental clinic so my hours are normal daytime 9-3 on the days I work. Animals and pets help fill that extra time :) My house is in isolation on 9 acres of land. About: I've spent many years working at a Pet Grooming shop in CNY spending lots of time with dogs and cats. I understand temperament and behavior very well. I know the ins and outs of pet care as I have two dogs of my own. Maxx and Winnie are both golden retrievers who love everyone and everything. If you're worried about leaving your best friend with a stranger, no need to fear with me! I'm excited to spend time with your fur baby whether it's going for walks or letting them outside. I love all kinds of animals and am ready to take care of yours! I'm currently off for the summer as I work for a school district, so I typically am available most days ! I'll try my best to update days I'm unavailable. I currently have two golden retrievers. One is a puppy, and the other is 10 years old. I do not currently have a fenced in yard.

She kept me updated every single day by sending videos and messages, letting me know when they had dinner and when they were settled in for the night. It gave me so much peace of mind to see how comfortable and well cared for they were. In one of the videos, I saw her giving one of my boys cuddles, and he was clearly loving the attention, which meant a lot to me. I had sent them with a full bag of their belongings, and everything was returned exactly as I left it, which I really appreciated. On top of that, my flight ended up being delayed, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating with the change in timing. Their flexibility and kindness truly stood out. Overall, I was extremely happy with the level of care and attention my boys received. I would absolutely trust them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.”

“This was our first time leaving our sweet girl, and we went back and forth on different options. We ultimately decided to try an overnight sitter first, with the plan to move forward if it felt like a good fit—and we’re so glad we did. Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter. She loves the furbabies like her own, and Milo is just as sweet and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for.
