“Highly recommend! Trix was very responsive and took such great care in watching our 16 yr old diabetic kitty during our vacation. She checked in on him twice daily to feed, give his insulin, clean litter box, and keep some company. He has been known to act out a little when we are gone but there were no issues, which I attribute in part to her excellent care. We enjoyed getting daily check in updates and pics. Thank you, Trix, and look forward to reaching out again next time we need some pet sitting :)”

I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 30 years and have experience with intervertebral disc disease, expressing bladder’s, administering medications orally, physical therapy and CPR. About: I've been a dog owner and lover my whole life, and I've cared for dogs of all ages — from wiggly puppies to sweet senior babies who just need a little extra patience and TLC. I have hands-on experience with small breeds and understand that little dogs often have big personalities and specific needs. My home is calm, safe, and welcoming — no chaos, no stress. I've also cared for dogs with special needs, so I'm comfortable with medications, mobility issues, or anything that requires a little more attentiveness. When your dog is with me, they're not just being "watched" — they're being cared for like they belong here I work from home in a calm environment. I have two cats that are very well behaved and one dog who is a little crazy. She is deaf with some separation anxiety and OCD, but she is such a little sweetheart. I spend all day waiting on these guys hand and foot, what’s one or two more? 😊 My sweet, friendly dog will keep yours company all day long. I live on a cul-de-sac and we take several walks throughout the day.

About: I was that teenager growing up who never wanted to babysit, so I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As soon as I was living on my own, I adopted my first rescue pup. Today, my fiancé and I have three rescue dogs and two rescue cats. When I'm not with my dogs, I'm working full-time at a local college teaching writing. I have a Ph.D. in education, and wrote a dissertation that focused on how canine-assisted reading programs can support children's literacy development. I am an active member of Pet Partners CNY, a local therapy animal organization. Olive is a certified therapy dog, and together we visit local schools and other facilities. I also have a small petwear business up and running where I make handmade pet wear (oliveandelishop) - we make appearances at local craft shows and markets. My life is centered around my love for animals and I look forward to spoiling yours! I do work full time, but I am committed to making sure your pets are happy and comfortable while you are away. I can provide morning care, make sure they are settled before I leave for work, and then be home mid-afternoon to spend the rest of the day and evening with them. I am willing to follow any protocols/routines you have in place to ensure your pet sticks to their routine and that they are safe and happy.
