About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: I have a dog and 2 cats of my own so I consider myself experienced in pet care. I have dog sat for many years now for both neighbors and family. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. I don’t currently have a job so I my schedule is very flexible. I also don’t mind getting up early if necessary for your pet. I have a fenced backyard and my pets are friendly. About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.

About: I have a degree in animal behavior that has prepared me to properly care for animals, among other skills. I have also owned dogs my entire life, including training one of my current dogs. I have volunteered at a dog rescue for about 6 years. I now work at an animal rescue that has me trained to give medications. I have also owned a senior cat for 4 years which has me comfortable cleaning litter boxes and administering medications. I currently have two part time jobs, and typically have 2 or 3 days completely available. On days I work I am available most evenings and occasionally mornings. I am unable to board animals at my house because of my other pets. However, I am able to commute to client's places. I am comfortable crating when I am not there if it is requested.

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: Hi there! I’ve been dedicated to working with animals since I was 16, earning my Veterinary Technician license while in high school in Texas. Over the years, my deep interest in canine behavior led me to manage dog daycares and boarding facilities, as well as shadow experienced dog trainers. When I’m not caring for pets, you can usually find me immersed in my favorite hobby-handling and competing with dogs in conformation shows! With my veterinary background, I bring both clinical confidence and behavioral understanding to every visit. I am completely comfortable administering oral or injectable medications, following precise routines, and managing special needs. Having personally cared for an epileptic dog, I am well-versed in seizure protocols and know how to keep pups calm, safe, and supported. I work full-time during the week but am available to care for your dog from Saturday through Monday. Weekends typically involve nature hikes on various trails, allowing all the dogs to explore new scents and enjoy the outdoors. My dogs are my weekend companions, and your pup will become part of our pack on these adventures. I'm passionate about providing dogs with enriching experiences, and I'm confident your dog will have a fun and fulfilling time with us. I don't have a fenced-in yard, but we do monitor the dogs carefully when they are outside. Depending on the dog, we would either walk them on a leash or allow them to explore under close supervision. We have a crate available if needed, but you are more than welcome to bring your dog's own crate if they feel more comfortable in it. Dogs are welcome on furniture, beds, and throughout the house. Our home is completely dog-friendly.

About: Hello, Peewee here to tell you more about my mom. She had a family dog and then just one of her own before me but she's pretty great! She has experience giving me different medicines and following strict diets when I get sick. I completed a puppy course and even got a certificate with my picture on it. My mom still makes me and all of my friends follow the rules but we have lots of fun! She isn't always that busy, we are together most of the time! And the good thing is that when she leaves, she usually takes me with her! Please send any and all requests so that she can go through them all and see if we can work something out. We live in a house with really big yard that is fully fenced in. Most of the time I like to just lay on the deck and sunbathe but when I get a little hyper, she's either playing with me or we go to the dog park, on playdates with other dog friends, and on hikes (my favorite). *Please know that if your furbaby is anything like me, they are always welcomed anywhere we might go and I'd love to interact with them any time! **If your furbaby doesn't get along well with others, no problem, my mom will just leave me home and I will watch our house!
About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets, as well as the pets of family and friends, for as long as I can remember. Animals have always brought joy to my life, and I love the positive impact they have on my mental health and overall well-being.My schedule is very flexible, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care and spend quality time with the pets I look after. I live in a spacious house with plenty of room for pets to play and relax. I also have a partially fenced backyard and a front yard where pets can enjoy supervised outdoor time. In addition, I live near several parks and green spaces that are perfect for walks and exploring, always with your pet’s safety as my top priority. I am currently unemployed but going to back grad school in policy studies at su so I will have pretty of time to devote to taking care of pets. I have a larger house with pets of rooms for animals to play around. I also have a semi fenced in backyard and front yard for out door activists. I also live next to many green spaces and places for animals to explore. Safely of course!
