About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. About: I have been blessed to care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 cockatiel, 3 ferrets and countless goldfish in my lifetime. Most recently was my beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Piper. Piper developed a heart condition (common amongst KCCS) and daily medication was prescribed. 3 times a day Piper and I would enjoy some peanut butter or cheese to help get the medication down. I am very familiar with senior dogs and their special needs I am retired and currently work 2 days a week part-time. I’m available the rest of the days when you need me, special circumstances always taken into consideration I have a fully fenced yard for your fur baby to explore, get some sunshine and just romp around. I have a crate if your preferences would require one

About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

About: I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. I typically hike local parks and would love to take your best friend for a walk while I get exercise myself. I am currently walking in parks daily and would love to walk your dog while I’m getting exercise. I can provide 30 minute or hour long walks in your neighborhood or a nearby park. About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. “After our dog boarding situation fell through for the week of Christmas, I stumbled upon Matthew and Christie (and their kids) on Rover. Not only were they able to accommodate our last minute reservation, but they were incredibly flexible when a million things went wrong on the tail end of our trip causing delay after delay. All that was awesome, but mostly it was their care and love for our dog (who’s truly the baby of our family and we are all just head over heels for) that was apparent and left us feeling completely at ease. About: Hi there! I’ve been dedicated to working with animals since I was 16, earning my Veterinary Technician license while in high school in Texas. Over the years, my deep interest in canine behavior led me to manage dog daycares and boarding facilities, as well as shadow experienced dog trainers. When I’m not caring for pets, you can usually find me immersed in my favorite hobby-handling and competing with dogs in conformation shows! With my veterinary background, I bring both clinical confidence and behavioral understanding to every visit. I am completely comfortable administering oral or injectable medications, following precise routines, and managing special needs. Having personally cared for an epileptic dog, I am well-versed in seizure protocols and know how to keep pups calm, safe, and supported. I work full-time during the week but am available to care for your dog from Saturday through Monday. Weekends typically involve nature hikes on various trails, allowing all the dogs to explore new scents and enjoy the outdoors. My dogs are my weekend companions, and your pup will become part of our pack on these adventures. I'm passionate about providing dogs with enriching experiences, and I'm confident your dog will have a fun and fulfilling time with us. I don't have a fenced-in yard, but we do monitor the dogs carefully when they are outside. Depending on the dog, we would either walk them on a leash or allow them to explore under close supervision. We have a crate available if needed, but you are more than welcome to bring your dog's own crate if they feel more comfortable in it. Dogs are welcome on furniture, beds, and throughout the house. Our home is completely dog-friendly.
