About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and prioritize clear communication with regular updates and photos. I have a fully fenced in backyard (although I can also take your pet for walks as well if preferred!) and am available to give lots of cuddles all day as I work from home full time! I work remote full time and have a fully fenced in back yard so I am able to watch your dog or cat full time. On the weekends I am usually out hiking or with friends, and can take your pet on those adventures as well! I also have a small 30 lb house trained and friendly doggy named Ramsey who is always down to play and/or nap :) I am able to give your pet around the clock care as I work from home, and my dog Ramsey is always ready to make new friends! I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! Please let me know what your needs are, I want their stay to be as comfortable as possible!
About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

This is the first real off leash (fenced in yard) play she's had with a dog closer to her size and she loved it. They really made her feel welcome and taken care of and all that play left her tuckered out. We even got ideas for a couple new toys for her.”

I have flexible hours with my job. If I am unable to be home my girlfriend is there all through the week. She only works weekends as a traveling vet assistant. On those days I am home to reach our animals and your pets needs. They will always be given attention and love. I have a fenced in back yard and two dogs of my own who are trained and help me train other dogs. Both are working emotional support dogs, as we understand they need a purpose to feel a part of the pack. Our house is big enough that no animals have to be together at any point. If this makes pet owners more comfortable and would like there pets separated to enjoy some alone time.

About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.
About: Reliable, communicative, and genuinely passionate about animals. I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel safe and comfortable. I have a six year old labradoodle currently and have taken full time care of an elderly black lab rescue in the past. I currently have no scheduling conflicts as I am home for the summer from college! Very open schedule so don’t hesitate to reach out with any requests! I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their normal routine. In a client’s home, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping the space clean and tidy. I’m very attentive to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific instructions. As well, I like to keep owners updated with messages and photos!
About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: Hi there! I’ve been dedicated to working with animals since I was 16, earning my Veterinary Technician license while in high school in Texas. Over the years, my deep interest in canine behavior led me to manage dog daycares and boarding facilities, as well as shadow experienced dog trainers. When I’m not caring for pets, you can usually find me immersed in my favorite hobby-handling and competing with dogs in conformation shows! With my veterinary background, I bring both clinical confidence and behavioral understanding to every visit. I am completely comfortable administering oral or injectable medications, following precise routines, and managing special needs. Having personally cared for an epileptic dog, I am well-versed in seizure protocols and know how to keep pups calm, safe, and supported. I work full-time during the week but am available to care for your dog from Saturday through Monday. Weekends typically involve nature hikes on various trails, allowing all the dogs to explore new scents and enjoy the outdoors. My dogs are my weekend companions, and your pup will become part of our pack on these adventures. I'm passionate about providing dogs with enriching experiences, and I'm confident your dog will have a fun and fulfilling time with us. I don't have a fenced-in yard, but we do monitor the dogs carefully when they are outside. Depending on the dog, we would either walk them on a leash or allow them to explore under close supervision. We have a crate available if needed, but you are more than welcome to bring your dog's own crate if they feel more comfortable in it. Dogs are welcome on furniture, beds, and throughout the house. Our home is completely dog-friendly.
