About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. About: I have been blessed to care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 cockatiel, 3 ferrets and countless goldfish in my lifetime. Most recently was my beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Piper. Piper developed a heart condition (common amongst KCCS) and daily medication was prescribed. 3 times a day Piper and I would enjoy some peanut butter or cheese to help get the medication down. I am very familiar with senior dogs and their special needs I am retired and currently work 2 days a week part-time. I’m available the rest of the days when you need me, special circumstances always taken into consideration I have a fully fenced yard for your fur baby to explore, get some sunshine and just romp around. About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

About: My husband and I own our home in the Sedgwick neighborhood, which has a fenced-in backyard and lots of safe space for long walks and playtime. We do not own a dog at the moment, so we have plenty of energy and love to go around! We also have years of experience caring for our dogs and sitting for friends who own dogs in a wide range of sizes and breeds. I pride myself on how well dogs listen to me when I try to train them to listen and maybe try a trick or two to keep their minds engaged and give them an enriching daily life. About: I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. By day, I work part time at the front desk of a local dog shelter, which keeps me highly organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable with all kinds of breeds. My shifts are in the afternoon. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows.
