About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. About: I have grown up with cats in my home since the day I was brought home from the hospital. At a young age I learned proper care for senior cats and followed them to vet visits. I fostered two kittens in 2015 at the age of nine, then rescuing them to make them my own. I potty-trained them, gave proper kitten food, and spent an enormous amount of time with them to teach them love and happiness. Now, they are 11 years old and have grown to be incredibly friendly with others and their idea of fun is cuddling and purring all day. My 16 year old cat I have at home is still very playful and youthful even though he has had trouble with health. I feed him special food for his kidney health and have him drink lots of water everyday which has kept him healthy for the past five years.

I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and prioritize clear communication with regular updates and photos. I have a fully fenced in backyard (although I can also take your pet for walks as well if preferred!) and am available to give lots of cuddles all day as I work from home full time! I work remote full time and have a fully fenced in back yard so I am able to watch your dog or cat full time. On the weekends I am usually out hiking or with friends, and can take your pet on those adventures as well! I also have a small 30 lb house trained and friendly doggy named Ramsey who is always down to play and/or nap :) I am able to give your pet around the clock care as I work from home, and my dog Ramsey is always ready to make new friends! I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! Please let me know what your needs are, I want their stay to be as comfortable as possible!

“Eric and his family are truly incredible! We were in town for four days for the state fair and needed daycare for our Goldendoodle, Woody, on two separate days. From the moment we met Eric, we felt completely comfortable leaving Woody in his care. Eric treated Woody as if he were one of his own. He was exceptionally flexible and accommodating with our drop-off and pick-up times, which made our trip so much easier. He even shared that his baby girl absolutely adored Woody and spent much of the time playing with him. When I picked Woody up on the second evening, Eric genuinely thanked us for allowing Woody to be part of their home. That simple gesture spoke volumes about the kindness and care he provides. The level of attention and affection Eric and his family showed Woody was beyond what we could have hoped for. He even went the extra mile by giving Woody a bath and trimming his nails. More importantly, the positive social interaction and loving environment Woody experienced will be incredibly beneficial to him. We had such a wonderful experience that we are already planning another four-hour trip simply so Woody can spend more time with Eric and his family. That says everything about how highly we think of them! Eric is the real deal—a genuinely kind-hearted person and a true dog lover. His entire family made us feel welcome, and they cared for Woody as though he were their own. We are incredibly grateful and will absolutely be back!”

About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

I make animals as eager as I am to learn behavioral skills while letting them express their personality. In 2015, I fostered two kittens at the age of nine. I then rescued and made them my own. I've had cats in my household my entire life, so I am trained to take care of kittens, adult cats, and senior cats of all personality types. In 2026, I began volunteering at local animal shelters to look after dogs of all sizes and breeds. For three months of 2026, I became a full-time nanny for a two month old Portuguese Water Dog. I trained her basic skills like sit, down, and paw. I trained her behavioral skills with teething, biting, potty training, walking next to me, and not running to other people or dogs during walks. On top of that, I taught her fun tricks like high five, play dead, and spinning. I am currently a full-time college student at Syracuse University. I have classes Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 12-4. I can fit taking care of pets anytime around my class schedule as that is my only big time commitment at the moment. I live in a apartment, so if I care for pets in my own place there wouldn't be a whole lot of room, but I can still manage it if needed for care outside of your home. In your home, I will stay in the respected areas you choose (living room, basement) and get an understanding from you where to get their food, water, toys, etc. If you have a yard, I can play with dogs outside. I have a car so I am able to transport dogs to parks, trails, my apartment, etc.

About: I have been blessed to care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 cockatiel, 3 ferrets and countless goldfish in my lifetime. Most recently was my beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Piper. Piper developed a heart condition (common amongst KCCS) and daily medication was prescribed. 3 times a day Piper and I would enjoy some peanut butter or cheese to help get the medication down. I am very familiar with senior dogs and their special needs I am retired and currently work 2 days a week part-time. About: I’ve always had pets growing up and say I would be a vet if I wasn’t so squeamish. I’ve always dreamt of having a farm filled with animals when I grow up, or working with them in any capacity I can. This is one stepping stone for me to get there, and I find so much joy in caring for animals. I had a cat of my own in college who probably got far much more care and attention than she wanted. I have special experience in cats with severe anxiety and car sickness, and can administer oral medication for them. I am a law student at Syracuse University looking to take care of your pets! For me, caring for animals is a stress reliever and something to look forward to with a busy schedule. I will most likely be able to do visits or walks during the evenings on the weekdays, and any time on weekends. I love to play with my dogs at home and I run them ragged the second I step in the door. I also make sure they are fed, taken out, and have water whenever I need.

About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Living away from home for college is difficult without my pets, so I would love to tend to yours as I am missing mine! About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! I think it is important to listen to the client and will do everything I can to ensure your pets safety and help you feel at ease knowing they are in good hands! Every client is different and I respect each and every boundary.

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.
