About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets and owning dogs (& cats) since I was 15 . I also took dog training classes in Germany . Over the past years I’ve watched friends and coworkers puppies , family and friends cats and did take in some dogs from military friends for vacation ! Our dogs are super friendly with all other pets ! Cats as well as dogs - all sizes! ( they love smaller dogs as a matter of fact!) Currently I’m a stay at home mom with a 13 month old baby! I offer mostly going for walks for busy dog parents during the day (: If you request boarding: We prefer meeting up with the dogs once or twice before taking them in , to make sure they get along. I do have a kid under 2 as well as a dachshund so only accepting clients who’d get along with dogs and kids. (: I work from home so I have pretty open availability! I have a fenced in back yard and two dogs of my own who are trained and help me train other dogs. Both are working emotional support dogs, as we understand they need a purpose to feel a part of the pack. Our house is big enough that no animals have to be together at any point. About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.
