About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, administering basic medications if needed, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure the home stays clean, secure, and exactly as the owner expects. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can relax, play, and receive plenty of supervision and affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. My goal is to treat every pet like a member of my own family. 🐾💕
About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! I think it is important to listen to the client and will do everything I can to ensure your pets safety and help you feel at ease knowing they are in good hands! Every client is different and I respect each and every boundary.
