About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. About: I’ve been taking care of pets and owning dogs (& cats) since I was 15 . I also took dog training classes in Germany . Over the past years I’ve watched friends and coworkers puppies , family and friends cats and did take in some dogs from military friends for vacation ! Our dogs are super friendly with all other pets ! Cats as well as dogs - all sizes! ( they love smaller dogs as a matter of fact!) Currently I’m a stay at home mom with a 13 month old baby! I offer mostly going for walks for busy dog parents during the day (: If you request boarding: We prefer meeting up with the dogs once or twice before taking them in , to make sure they get along. Our puppies love smaller dogs ! I have a fenced yard and a house , my puppies are both friendly with others. If needed or asked to, I can separate the dogs or keep in a crate .

I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

All the dogs growing up were considered "my dogs" by everyone else in the house. I currently have two well behaved dogs, a husky who enthusiastically learned to do basic tricks and a special needs staffie that is a certified couch potato. If your baby has a medication regimen, I can make sure it gets followed. We can be as lazy or active as your baby needs me to be. I also have extensive experience with cats and some experience with ball pythons. My human kids are adults now, so I spend most of my waking time doting over my fur babies; I could consider yours a part of my pack if you'd like! If your dog is an adventurer we can walk for hours. I have two very friendly dogs and two...lets just call them tolerant...cats. I love just watching them go, so I am very engaged with the babies all day long. I'm good at following instructions and I can crate your pet as I come and go if you wish.

About: I have a love for dog that goes back as far as I can remember. My dogs are my children. I will treat your pups as if they are my own. I work overnights so the day is usually open. I will be here if your pup needs anything. I also have cameras in the home to monitor when I’m not home. I have a friendly dog. She is free roam and she loves to play. I have a park nearby and have a fenced in yard. Frequent walks and play time expected.
“Joan and both her son and daughter took SUCH good care of Duke while with them! Duke has a few “difficult “ qualities like not being friendly to other dogs and sometimes barking at people. They treated him like their own and I cannot thank them enough. This was his first time with them and I would absolutely rebook.”
