About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter. She loves the furbabies like her own, and Milo is just as sweet and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!”

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

This is the first real off leash (fenced in yard) play she's had with a dog closer to her size and she loved it. They really made her feel welcome and taken care of and all that play left her tuckered out. We even got ideas for a couple new toys for her.”

I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I have a fully fenced in backyard (although I can also take your pet for walks as well if preferred!) and am available to give lots of cuddles all day as I work from home full time! On the weekends I am usually out hiking or with friends, and can take your pet on those adventures as well! I also have a small 30 lb house trained and friendly doggy named Ramsey who is always down to play and/or nap :) I am able to give your pet around the clock care as I work from home, and my dog Ramsey is always ready to make new friends! I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: I’ve been taking care of pets and owning dogs (& cats) since I was 15 . I also took dog training classes in Germany . Over the past years I’ve watched friends and coworkers puppies , family and friends cats and did take in some dogs from military friends for vacation ! Our dogs are super friendly with all other pets ! Cats as well as dogs - all sizes! ( they love smaller dogs as a matter of fact!) Currently I’m a stay at home mom with a 3 month old baby! I offer mostly going for walks for busy dog parents during the day (: If you request boarding: We prefer meeting up with the dogs once or twice before taking them in to make sure they get along. About: **Im sorry but I will not accept a next day booking if I have never met your dog previously, it's for safety's sake!** I've taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes since I was a little kid. All the dogs growing up were considered "my dogs" by everyone else in the house. I currently have two well behaved dogs, a husky who enthusiastically learned to do basic tricks and a special needs staffie that is a certified couch potato. If your baby has a medication regimen, I can make sure it gets followed. We can be as lazy or active as your baby needs me to be. I also have extensive experience with cats and some experience with ball pythons. My human kids are adults now, so I spend most of my waking time doting over my fur babies; I could consider yours a part of my pack if you'd like! If your dog is an adventurer we can walk for hours. I have two very friendly dogs and two...lets just call them tolerant...cats. I love just watching them go, so I am very engaged with the babies all day long. I'm good at following instructions and I can crate your pet as I come and go if you wish.

About: I have had many pets throughout my life and love all animals! I got my first dog at age 10 and have since had a hamster, guinea pigs, fish, and cats, as well. I have been watching friends and families pets for about the last 6 years. I have experience giving oral medications and am able to give injectable medications as well. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter. She loves the furbabies like her own, and Milo is just as sweet and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!”

This is our first time ever using a service of this sort to provide alternative options for boarding. About: I live in Strathmore and work downtown. My absolute favorite things in life are my two sons (who are amazing human beings!) and animals. Now that my sons are independent and out of the house, I enjoy being around and caring for animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals (e.g., dogs, cats, tarantulas, snakes, insects, and more). And I have had and loved dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from mini dachshunds with serious Napoleon complexes to larger-than-life Rottweilers and Great Danes.
