“As always, Adrianna is always a great help and good friend to our pets. Her messages and photos are always comforting when we can’t be home with the critters.”

“Karlie is amazing! I felt so comfortable and confident that I was leaving my cat Cleo in excellent and caring hands. ☺️ She cared for Cleo so well, and the updates were so fun to get while I was out of town. Thank you!!!”

“Cammie did an excellent job caring for our little dogs. She kept us up-to-date and showed them love and care. We are very happy with her professionalism and expertise.”

About: I am from a very rural town so I've been around animals all my life. Growing up we had 2 cats and a large dog that were primarily my responsibility as my siblings are much younger than me. I worked at an office that had 2 dogs and MANY foster cats amd kittens that I helped take of. I have also pet sit my friend's large dog whenever she goes away for the weekend or for a vacation. I have previous experience here on Rover caring for an elderly large breed dog with limited mobility. I have also taken a veterinary science course and am very comfortable having to administer medications or treatments that are needed. I'm currently working part time in Binghamton. I'm in town Sunday-Wednesday every week and am willing to be flexible on the weekends. I work in an office downtown near Court St Mondays and Tuesdays 9-5 with an hour break where I can do checkins or short walks. I can also adjust the schedule slightly if needed. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays I am typically out of town, but that's not always the case. I'm always open to talk through my schedule on a case by case basis! I'm very open to instruction. I think owners know their pets and their routine best, so just let me know how you want the visit to look and I will make it happen!
“Sarah was really great and we definitely plan to call her again! We have two pups with very strong personalities (opposite extremes hyper and snuggly) and she seemed very comfortable with both of them. Her enthusiasm about caregiving gives you confidence that your furbabies will be taken care of.”

“They girls are very friendly and did a good job visiting my cat Meghan, I loved the pictures they send me, was a good relieved knowing your pet was being taking care of!”

“Ali and Rob are amazing! They went above and beyond to make my shy girl comfortable and content on our first trip away, and shared lots of pictures and great notes for peace of mind. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Isabel is the best, we had a sad situation made worse, my mom passed and we had to ask her to watch her kitty in a different location. She was so great about it and she was amazing with my mom’s cat. The cat is actually so much more social now, so we were able to find her a new home!! Thank you so much, I’ll always recommend you”

“Christopher was very professional. He took great care of my Kitty. He communicated with me regularly with updates , questions and photos. He did a great job. He played with her and gave her lots of attention.”

“Naomi is our “go-to” caregiver for our cats, she goes above and beyond to make sure they’re taken care of and we can relax while we’re away knowing that she’s always quick to communicate, she’s reliable, trustworthy and clearly cares about our pets.”

About: I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and care needs both in a professional setting and as a pet owner! I also have cared for cats for 3 years and have some experience caring for birds (and absolutely love them! particularly cockatiels and conures) I currently am a full time student and have 2 days off during the work week thanks to online classes, so more time to care for pets! I live in a large apartment with no personal pets. Dogs would be crated when I’m in class (only a few hours a day, less than 6 usually) and free to roam when I’m home, with at least 2 relief walks a day. Care at a client’s home would all depend on their personal preferences! I am comfortable sleeping over for any type of pet.
“Amanda did a great job keeping me updated on my fur baby while I was gone! He seemed in high spirits upon arrival, thank you so much and happy holidays!”

“Tyler did an excellent job looking after our kitties and guinea pigs while we were on vacation. He communicated often and followed all care instructions. He even got our shy kitty to warm up to him very quickly, which is a feat in itself. Everything was in perfect order when we returned. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned dogs since I was 11 years old, both medium and small sized. I have also cared for friend’s dogs in the past, both small and large breeds alike. I also adore cats, have one of my own, and have taken care of them in the past. Others have often relied on me to feed, bathe and even groom their pets, all things that I absolutely love to do. I am currently working online, so I have the whole day everyday to dedicate to caring for animals. I also love visiting parks nearby me as I do live in an apartment, so I would love to take any pet there to relax as well. :) I live in a pet-friendly apartment at the moment with one dog and one cat. We have a large open grass area nearby to walk animals downstairs, and lots of fun spaces for animals to explore outside and inside!
“Amber is great!! She came for pre-visit and made sure she thoroughly understood our routine. She was loving and careful with our dogs, and prompt with each potty visit. I love her energy and professionalism! Absolutely would book her again!!”

About: To say I'm a dog lover is an understatement! I had a dog of my own, so I know the ins and outs of caring for one, and I have over 4 years of experience. I don't have the schedule yet to own a dog of my own, so caring for other dogs is the next best thing. I don't have any preference of size or energy level, so I would love to tend to the needs of yours whenever you need it. My areas of experience are pet sitting, entertaining, walking, and boarding. I would love the opportunity to care for your dog! I just started graduate school at Syracuse University and am looking to continue pet sitting in my free time! My schedule during the week varies, but I am very flexible and whatever the request may be, I will try my best to fulfill it! Nothing is ever too last minute, I am open to all requests. When caring for dogs in my home/apartment, I like the be around the dog playing with them or just keeping them company. Whenever I do have to leave I make sure they have food/water and that they are comfortable while I’m not there. Being an athlete I am very active already, so taking a dog outside for fun/scenic walks in the city/park would be my pleasure! When caring for dogs in other homes, I am sure to keep the dog entertained. I always keep an eye on them and keep them comfy. When walking a dog, I like to walk them through nature filled areas or parks. I almost always walk dogs for longer than the requested times—- I enjoy them just as much as they do! Also, I have many independent clients outside of Rover so I am open to doing pay/booking outside of the app to avoid fees on both ends. Just ask!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, including feeding, providing fresh water, and ensuring they get regular exercise through walks. I have looked after my friends dog on multiple occasions, taking responsibility for their daily needs and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m actively looking to walk dogs as I enjoy walking them during the evening time. I’m a teacher so during school year, lm available 3 pm and onwards I am only offering dog walking service since I live in an apartment, it will be very difficult to take care of the dog here.
University pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda is very prompt, professional, accommodating, and supportive. We appreciated her drop-in visit. In addition, we loved the photos and feedback she left. She is encouraging and willing to answer any questions or provide suggestions. Our puppy loved her at the first hello and so did we. Highly recommend her and will definitely seek her assistance again.

Isabel is the best, we had a sad situation made worse, my mom passed and we had to ask her to watch her kitty in a different location. She was so great about it and she was amazing with my mom’s cat. The cat is actually so much more social now, so we were able to find her a new home!! Thank you so much, I’ll always recommend you

I can't say enough for Julianna. She met all my expectations and my girls loved her. She was a life saver and was able to meet my needs at the last minute. She was prompt and communicated diligently with every visit. She made me feel comfortable leaving my girls. She messaged me when she arrived for her visit and when she left. She notified me of any concerns and what she did with my dogs while she was at the house. I would definitely recommend her for any of your needs. I will definitely use her again. Thank you Julianna

Katherine was a pleasure to work with as she did everything that I asked of her without a doubt…very satisfied, would highly recommend even with my tough playful, fast paced blue heeler.. she definitely accommodated and was flexible to assist thank you thank you!

Jennah has cared for our dog, Theo, several times a week since August! She is extremely reliable and great with dogs! She put our mind at ease checking in on him during his neuter and other times that he had an upset stomach. She was always cautious with the weather and would quickly adjust with some active playtime inside if it was too hot or too cold outside. Jennah has cared for Theo since he was a puppy and it will be hard to find someone to replace her!
