Shelter Staffer Ready to Care!
I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. By day, I work part time at the front desk of a local dog shelter, which keeps me highly organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable with all kinds of breeds. My shifts are in the afternoon. This flexibility means I can easily accommodate early mornings, evenings, or weekend care depending on the week—just shoot me a message and we can always find a time that works!

I typically spend more time with a dog than the typical owner. I love dogs immensely and give them my full attention when house sitting.

David is very friendly. My dog, who usually takes a while to warm up to people, warmed up to him right away. Great communication! I will absolutely request David again.
David has a natural way with animals. Dogs and cats seem to love him from the moment he walks in the door. My cat hides from nearly everyone, but she comes out and spends time with David. He’s patient, gentle, and takes the time to make animals feel safe and cared for. I'm confident he'll love and treat your pets like his own.
David has taken care of my dogs many times while I have been away from home. He has always walked and played with them throughout the day. Both dogs have been extremely happy to see him visit! After you meet David you will know that he will take care of your pet as if it were his own. He is very aware of your dog’s need for attention, play and comfort. I highly recommend him!
David is wonderful with dogs and has a natural ability to connect with them right away. He is calm, attentive, and takes the time to understand each dog’s personality and individual needs. David has cared for our last two dogs many times, staying overnight in our home, walking our dog multiple times throughout the day while we were on vacation, and we have always felt completely comfortable knowing they were in his care. He is responsible, dependable, and genuinely loves dogs. We highly recommend him!
I can't recommend Dave enough for pet care! He loves animals, especially dogs- just watching him meet & greet a dog makes it so apparent. He is gentle and patient, while mindful of your pet's need to walk/sniff out their curiosities or release some pent up energy. I am picky about who I trust my senior dog with, but I would trust Dave with her any day.

Schedule
I work part time mid day so I will have plenty of time in the mornings or evenings to provide care for your dog to fit your schedule and needs.

- To ensure your pup has a safe and happy time with me, please let me know ahead of time about: • Any medical needs, allergies, or medication schedules. • Their behavior around other dogs/strangers on walks. • Triggers like guarding food, separation anxiety, or loud noises. • Their normal feeding and potty routine so I can keep them on schedule!
