Rupert clearly loved spending the afternoon with them and we would absolutely book with them again.”

About: I have always had family dogs - since I was 9 months old, they have always been a huge love in my life. I have fostered Romanian rescue dogs, from 3 month old puppies to an older rescue who needed to recover from surgery with me. My final foster was a foster fail and we adopted him, he is now nearly 5 and has taught me a huge amount! I have recently helped look after 3 Labrador puppies from birth which I absolutely loved. I am genuinely passionate about dogs and making sure they are safe, happy and fulfilled at all times. I am canine first aid trained and over the next couple of months will be doing some more courses to further my knowledge of canine behaviour. I am currently working part time which is flexible. I am looking to build my pet sitting and dog walking business therefore I am allowing for as much as time as possible for new clients. I have access to private land where I currently walk dogs daily and is also a great environment for training if needed. I live in a fantastic area where there are also many public walking spaces which are great for dogs to explore, away from roads and houses.

About: Hi there! I adore dogs.. I have looked after dogs for friends and neighbours over recent years, and have been on Rover since July 2023. Because I am able to work from home I have done a lot of dog boarding at mine whilst families go on away or day only bookings. The longest period i have looked after a dog is 15 days but as short as an evening - as long as I get to fuss a dog I’m happy. I grew up in a cat family and have fostered cats and kittens in the passed due to this. I have a dream to adopt a rescue dog however in the uk adoption centres only seem to consider applications who have previously owned - a catch 22! I spent time volunteering in a elephant and dog sanctuary in Thailand, so could return and adopt from there. However, I’m really hoping that increased evidence through Rover will help me be able to adopt a dog in need of a home from the UK. I love animals and spending time with them is so enriching I look forward to spending time with your pup ! I work from home full time, and often go for a two walks a day on my own anyway so would be great to have a walking buddy. I have no children and I’m very organised so can schedule and plan with your pup in mind. I go to the gym which is the only place I can’t take the dog! I live in a high dog populated area so can only take dogs which are comfortable walking past and seeing other dogs. I have a enclosed secure small garden, and my house backs onto fields for quiet country walks as well as pavement busier walks. I also drive and have a car so we can go to Blenheim or other beautiful spaces for those on a longer board. I do not have any pets, and it would only be one dog at a time so your pup would get all the attention.

“This is the second time that we have had Hannah look at after our cockerpoo Maddie for us. As expected, she was fab and Maddie remembered her straight away… She sent pictures throughout the day and Maddie was a very happy dog when we returned. We definitely will be using her again and recommend her to anyone! Thanks so much Hannah!”

About: Hello! My name is Amelia and I’m a dog lover who is currently dogless so would love to help you with yours. Having had a dog previously, I have lots of experience with walking, feeding, bathing and most importantly, giving them attention. I work a mixture of in the office and from home but am very flexible. I live in Witney and have a secure garden should they ever need to come to me. My neighbours have a couple of cats. If you have any questions or would like my help, please do not hesitate to get in touch 😊. I work full time but my hours can be flexible. I also work a mixture of at home and in the office, again this is flexible. I have a terraced house with a secure fenced garden. There is a door between the lounge and front door should I have any unexpected visitors.

“I couldn’t be happier with the care our pup received! Holly was absolutely wonderful, from the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving our pup in their hands. They sent regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Holly to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have animals all of my life - having had dogs since I was 5 and my horse for 13 years. I work from home so have plenty of time to spend with dogs/puppies! I am available for boarding throughout the week and weekends. I can also do drop ins during the week. I have a secure fenced garden. I can create a crate for your dog and have no other pets. Lots of walking near me and I have a car to go further!

About: Pet sitting is a natural extension of my professional life as a remote psychology lecturer and CBT therapist. With a background in nursing, I bring a calm, compassionate, and attentive approach to every dog I care for. My work requires patience, emotional attunement, and reliability—qualities that also make me a trustworthy and nurturing presence for your pet. Since I work mostly from home, I’m able to provide consistent companionship, regular walks, mental stimulation, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. Your dog won’t just be looked after—they’ll be engaged, comforted, and treated with the same care and respect I bring to my work with people. Your dog won’t just be looked after—they’ll be engaged, comforted, and treated with the same care and respect I bring to my work with people. With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior and individual care needs. From high-energy breeds like Border Collies and Labradors to more sensitive or senior dogs like Shih Tzus and Greyhounds, I've provided tailored care that includes everything from daily walks, specialized feeding routines, medication administration, and post-surgery recovery support. Whether it’s energetic puppies or elderly dogs needing gentle attention, I offer a calm, reliable presence and a genuine love for animals that ensures each dog feels safe, happy, and well-cared for in my company.

About: Growing up we always had dogs and now my family includes 2 spaniels and a Shorkie! As well as providing dog care in clients homes, and run an afterschool club for a couple of hours a day. I work with animals AND children. Madness but I love it. I also sing round pubs and clubs. I’m very lucky to work in every field that I love. I’ve completed canine first aid and I’m fully insured. Every dog I look after will have a completely tailored service. They will be able to have all the routine they have when you’re home. My home is never empty of people so there is always someone home with our dogs, meaning I have time and availability to look after others dogs in their homes. I realised a while ago how many people choose not to ever go away if it means leaving their pets in kennels. Providing care for your dog in your own home means that they are happy and you can relax. My 3 are all different. Dixie is mum to Brooke. Doris is an old lady now at almost 11 years old. She blew both cruciates and had major surgery to fix her. She’s now bionic! I have experience in post op care due to what happened to Doris. I only provide sitting at the clients home, I don’t provide boarding in my own home. All care will be personally tailored to you and your dog.

About: I have had dogs in my life for over 30 years. I am experienced in their welfare as well as being a massive animal lover. I currently work 3/4 days a week and am self-employed. This means that I have plenty of time to look after your precious furry friends. I'm a hairdresser and so if your pet would be happy and settled in my salon, I could easily take him/her to work with me too. If not, I would schedule my work so that I can pop home regularly. I am a 5 minute walk away. I have a secure garden and safe home. I have lots of toys too. I'm good at following any instructions which work for your pets.

“Dan was a great sitter, sent pictures with updates as requested and left the house in good condition. Benji seemed happy so we are happy 😃 thank you Dan”

About: While I’m new to professional dog sitting and walking, I have plenty of real-life experience as the proud owner of an energetic white shepherd–Cretan hound mix named Dobby. I am currently working part-time, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I am very active so long walks also fit my lifestyle as well as your dogs I care for Dobby with a routine built around his needs which are regular meals, long daily walks, lots of grooming (he sheds ALOT!), and plenty of playtime to keep him mentally and physically fit.
