About: I am a sensible 27 year-old, who has spent their whole life caring for my own pets, friends' pets, and pets in the community. I am studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge, so have an in-depth understanding of healthcare, behaviour, and care requirements for both dogs and cats. I have volunteered with the RSPCA for over a year, completed placements at dog day care centres, and helped out at numerous veterinary practices. My normal routine when taking care of dogs is two walks, one prior to breakfast and one in the afternoon. I tailor the care I provide based on the dog's physiological and behavioural needs, as well as taking into account the current environment (e.g., weather, construction work etc.). I enjoy playing with high energy dogs or resting with senior pups. My routine is amenable and I am happy to make relatively spontaneous changes based on owner requests. My parents have two highly active spaniels and 1 senior dog and I try to create perfect environments for all of them. If pet sitting, I will be sure to follow any instructions given to me. I always dog sit for my family and friend, so my approach to caring for other dogs is extremely flexible.

Deeksha was very friendly, polite and professional right from the start, answering all of our questions openly and fully. She came over to meet our pet cat, Columbo, and he took to her right away - animals just know instinctively when someone will connect well with them. Deeksha looked after Columbo all day long during our week away and made sure that we received regular updates and photos throughout. When we returned, Columbo looked really bright and well. Previously, he has seemd a little subdued and has lost a little weight when left with friends or family, but this time, he was just his lovely usual self. Our house was also spotless so Deeksha had obviously looked after that too! We could not have asked for a better carer and would not hesitate in recommending Deeksha to friends and family.”

About: I have a wide experience of different animals and breeds, I have been a trusted house sitter for just under a year with many testimonial, and grew up with a dog and a cat so have a good level of experience. I like nothing more on the weekend to be out and about exploring nature, so if I have a dog companion to come with me that is great, but I always like having a cozy day in with netflix with cat friends. All animals I find them calming so it's a win win for all. I work in an office 3 days a week so may be able to do a long weeks here and there! I have a secured property with a small garden with a fence, with french doors into the garden so quite open for dogs. I treat pets as if they are my own and know how important pets are to people and the care and responsibility.

About: I have had dogs around me since I was born. First one was called Jason a Shetland sheepdog, he was a beautiful dog with a big personality and he loved all animals. I would always look after him from the age of 16 when my parents would go away aboard, his routine became my routine. I also had a Springer Spaniel called Jake, he is a very nervous and aggressive dog. He was extremely reactive with all breeds and children so I have had 10 years’ experience with how he operates, how to distract him when another dog comes along and it has made me hyper-vigilant when on walks. He is another brilliant boy, I used look after him when my parents went away and I would consume my whole week with him. I have a big house for them to roam around in, stair gate on the first door just before the front door and a massive garden with fences all around. Please request to come see it before I look after your pooch. If you want your dog to stay for the week or more, I do work in the week so they will be on their own for around 5 hours, but I drive so will be checked on regularly as my job is flexible. They will be walked, feed and entertained the second I get home. I have Pet Business Insurance with Protectivity Insurance. I promise you will receive a brilliant service from me, I will constantly communicate with you about your dog and ask all the right questions to make sure your dog is safe and entertained. Dog sitting (with full attention and walks) Dog home boarding - I can do whenever in the week, however I do work in the week but only 4 days and for 5 hours at a time, but the dogs will be checked on regularly as my job is flexible I have currently moved out to a house with a massive garden that is fenced all around. Newbold is at the back so this will be utilised massively. There are no children or other dogs so your dog will be 100% in a safe environment and free to do what they want (i.e. sit on the sofa, sleep on the bed, go out freely in the garden etc.)

About: I grew up around cats and dogs and loved spending time with animals. I would regularly take my own dog on long walks and spent long hours playing with my cat and her many litters of kittens. I haven’t had a pet since my teenage years but am desperate to get my own at some point. In the meantime, I love spending time with my partner’s family’s dogs and cats and will jump at any opportunity to spend more time around animals. I really enjoy walking and miss having a dog to go on walks with - especially in the mornings before work and during my lunch breaks. My partner and I also love long walks on the weekends and would love some company - it’s such a rewarding feeling taking a dog on a walk and seeing how much enjoyment both you and the dog get out of it! My partner also often works from home during the week and has flexible working hours so your dog would have extra company and someone else to take them for a walk too. About: I've had dogs in my family throughout all the time I was growing up, and I have had my own border terrier from a puppy since 2023. I can provide a home from home environment while you are away or care for your pets in your own house. My own dog Digsy is super friendly and I have a secure, enclosed garden. I am happy to consider any dog that is well behaved and sociable around other dogs/children. I work from home most of the week and at weekends I spend time out and about with my own dog so your pet will get plenty of attention and exercise. I have a secure, fenced garden. About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I helped raise three golden retrievers with my grandma in Norfolk, where we’d often swim in the sea together — some of my best memories. I’ve looked after both cats and dogs over the years, and currently share my home with a happy little hamster and my boyfriend. I’m a full-time university student, but my schedule is very flexible. I do a lot of my coursework from home, and when I do have lectures, they typically fall between 9–4 — but not every day, as I have a fixed timetable with plenty of free time around it. This makes it easy for me to plan ahead and fit in regular walks or visits. I live close to Leamington Spa city centre and within walking distance of many local spots, which makes getting to pet care jobs simple and stress-free. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a long walk, or just keeping your pet company, I’m happy to work around your routine to give them the care they need. At home, I currently care for a Syrian hamster who’s on a nocturnal schedule — he sleeps about 14 hours a day and runs all night on his 28cm wheel, which is large enough to protect his spine (I’ve done my research on proper hamster care!). His cage is 101x50x50cm with deep bedding for burrowing, and he always has access to fresh water and a balanced diet. I give him space to explore around the house when he’s awake to keep him stimulated and happy. In the past, I lived with my grandma for 10 years and helped raise three golden retrievers. They were a huge part of our lives — we gave them 2–3 walks a day, let them paddle in the sea, and even kept our back door open most of the year just for them! They were well-groomed, spoiled with love and treats, and we even used their brushed fur to help birds build nests in our garden. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or someone else’s, I pay close attention to their routines, needs, and personalities. I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and loved — always treating them as if they were my own.
