“We had a great experience with Tina! The whole process was uncomplicated and she responded very quickly, which was a huge relief as we were looking for a dog sitter on very short notice. Our dog came back happy, well-cared for, and clearly had a great time – it was obvious she hadn’t been missing anything and was in good hands. Tina truly saved our day, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and loving dog care.”

“Emma & Lawrence were excellent - the girls loved them! We have never left them before but a family party meant we needed to find someone to look after them for the afternoon while we were on holiday in Devon. Nothing was too much trouble - I had to change the drop off time & Emma was happy for us to drop off slightly earlier. They welcomed our Frenchies as if they were their own, made us feel really happy that the dogs were in safe hands & sent us off to our party. The girls were clearly comfortable as they sat on Lawrence’s knee & got on well with the resident dogs. Even when we went to collect them, they were clearly happy to be with Emma & Lawrence & weren’t that bothered that we were back!! We would highly recommend Emma & Lawrence if you are looking for a home from home for your dogs. We would definitely use them again.”

“Nicola stepped in at the last minute to help us with our late cancellation … she went above and beyond to help us out, including meeting on route to fetch Gilly and staying up until 22;30 for us to collect her again … Nicola & Simon are amazing, kind people who I have no hesitation in recommending … we will certainly call on them in the future .”

“So pleased to have found site and Jill and Greg. Rosie was settled and happy and from the pictures which they sent throughout the day looked like she had a great time! Would definitely use again if in the area.”

About: I have grown up with lots of different types of dogs and only recently lost our little 18year old terrier who I trained as a puppy. The house is secure and garden is fenced. I am used to having a dog around to look after.

About: I have been a pet owner my entire life, owning a variety of animals over the years, including guinea pigs, cats, dogs, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits chickens, ducks and geckos! I have worked as a professional groom, house & pet sitter, and dog walker for many years; owning my own business, Happy Tails since 2015, which quickly gained a consistent and loyal cliental of contented owners of dogs, horses, pigs and cats. Since moving to North Devon, Happy Tails has become a part time business, whilst I also work as a director of Youth Theatre, and also paint pet and wildlife portraits, and parenting my 3 children. I am confident with all animals, including those with challenging behaviours, and have training in dog behaviour and communication, canine and equine nutrition, and holistic health care. I believe in treating every person and animal with equity, as individuals, and with the greatest observational care, diligence, and of course all the fuss, belly rubs and head scratches they need! I am very conscientious and will look after your pets and home as if they are my own; offering to clean, pick up mail, water plants and anything else you need in addition to prioritising your pet's care and well being! An added bonus is that my wife is a dog trainer, vet technician and veterinary practice manager, and as such have experienced advice to hand immediately! I fully understand the worry that comes with leaving our precious pets, and will communicate regularly with you, sending photos and videos as well as text updates, or calls if required! Your pets will be in safe, happy and caring hands every day, whether they are boarding here, in your own home, for quick drop ins, or fun walks! I work very flexible, setting my own schedule and can work house sitting, pet sitting, drop ins or walks around your requirements and my own routine! We can talk about what you and your pet need and make a brilliant plan! I care for each and every pet individually, chatting extensively with you to find out all their needs, quirks, favourite things, routines, feeding requirements, and anything else you want to tell me. All animals deserve to be treated with equity, and as such no job is ever the same. But you can be assured that I will always be super compassionate, caring, diligent, communicative, vigilant, confident and reliable, no matter what the circumstances.

About: Always had dogs in my life, 2 collies I used to look after everyday when I was young and now have a very silly 3 year old golden retriever that I help to look after everyday. I work for myself online from home, so can look after fluffy friends from wherever if there’s internet or if I take time away from the laptop as there’s no major commitments. I can come to your home to look after your dog as to keep them in their preferred environment that they are used to. Will take for great walks exploring the coastline and more. If unable to come to your house or if I need to be at home for a little while then I have a large fenced garden with a bouncy golden retriever to keep them company.

About: Our dog Mia (Sprocker) is at the heart of our family. We have trained her from a puppy and we love walking and being outdoors. My husband and I work from home, taking our dog for a walk three times a day, we have access to public footpaths and several beaches only 10 minutes' drive away. We have an enclosed courtyard and also access to over an acre of land for the dogs to run more freely and a dog crate if required.

About: I have always had pets in my house whitest growing up. I was always there for them and loved the company and looking after them I’m always available, currently working from home so I’m available weekdays and weekends anytime and I am available for them to stay the night any day. I have a big fenced garden for them to play and a lot of room in the house as well. I do have a cat of my own but she is and outdoor cat so she is outside 80% of the time. But she is very friendly and loves dogs.
