“Our puppy had a wonderful time with Kamila for the evening. We loved getting the updates throughout the evening and Kamila filled us with confidence in leaving Daisy. Easy to communicate with and all round fab. Looking forward to booking again!”

“Lexi immediately bonded with John who had a real rapport with her. He kindly arrived early to go over her routine and sent photos and updates throughout the day. Lexi settled really well and obviously had a great day. Would definitely book John again.”

“Sophie is the most wonderful dog sitter. She looked after our elderly dog Willow for a few days while we visited our new baby granddaughter in Sweden. We felt very confident that we had left Willow in good hands and we were absolutely right. He is almost 15 and has a bit of dementia which can be challenging to cope with, but Sophie handled everything brilliantly and in a fuss-free way. We cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“Freya is lovely! Our dog is an anxious, sometimes uncertain dog. She came beforehand to meet him and see if they were both comfy. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog! Freya kept in touch the whole time and was very quick to respond. Will definitely rebook for any future needs 😊”

“Absolutely the best dog sitter ! Not only did he take amazing care of both our dogs—making sure they were happy, healthy, and loved—but he also went above and beyond by tidying up the house before we got back. That was such a thoughtful touch and totally unexpected. It’s clear he genuinely cares. We came home to two very content pups and a spotless home. Can’t recommend him highly enough!”

“Alison helped us out at the last minute and we felt very relaxed leaving our senior dog with her. We returned to find he had spent the whole evening with Alison instead of spending time on our bed which he’s apt to do. This I think sums it up. Thank you so much Aii for looking after Thomas and allowing us to have a lovely evening.”

“Always a worry to hand your furry friends over to someone you don’t really know, let a know stay in your house. Jasmine was kind enough to come for a trial one night stay ,before our week’s holiday in June. I must say jasmine was the perfect guest, our furry friends seem to love her company and lots of photos sent while we were away. If I am honest I didn’t need to worry thank you Jasmine 😘”

“Hilary was absolutely fantastic with our dogs Rafferty and Bambi, she kept us updated through the day (which is essential for any dog mum like me?), and kept them great company with walks, playing and cuddles - what more could you want from a pet sitter?! We will definitely go to Hilary again, and would recommend to all! Thank you Hilary x”

About: I have always loved animals and as a child I was fortunate to grow up in Africa, where we had many pets. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Tortoise (the only reptile I was keen on)! When I was 10yrs old I worked on weekends for the SPCA, clearing out and cleaning the cat and dog kennels, grooming the cats and walking the dogs. I would often go home and persuade the family to take on an unwanted older dog or cat or a kitten! I used to walk dogs for our neighbours and feed cats when they were away. Over the last 30 years, I have had dogs and cats of my own. I took our Labrador to dog training classes for months and it was a joy to see how he and the other dogs responded. When Bobby passed at age 13, I joined BorrowMyDoggy. Initially I was having Mabel to stay every Wednesday and alternate weekend but when the family found they had too many commitments, they asked us to have her. She was an adorable Cocker Spaniel and followed me everywhere. I am a gardener and she just sat wherever I was working. She also very quickly became the mascot for the boys cricket team - loved by the children and the parents. Cats normally came into my life as strays. They seemed to know I was a soft touch! Our current cat arrived during lock down when he was found sleeping in a cardboard box. He is so affectionate and has brought nothing but joy. Generally sleeps on my head or one of the boys. I regularly walk dogs for friends and neighbours and I have house-sat many times over the last 40 years, looking after dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs and hamsters. I love to walk. I am a professional gardener and given enough notice, I can move my gardening schedule to allow me to be away from home when necessary. I am very mindful of what the pet needs. Obviously exercise, fresh water, food are essential. I will be aware of areas that the pet cannot go and will always put the dog on a lead when walking near a road. I am currently looking after an in-door cat so I have to be mindful to put her in another room when I need to go outside, so she cannot escape.

About: I absolutely adore all animals, they all deserve love, patience and care. Cuddles and lots of love and understanding as all pets deserve the best care I am available as my children are grown up, I have the time to devote to your pets but I can only offer pet sitting at your home. As my dogs are very protective over their home. Would need to come to your home as above. I understand the importance of an enclosed garden and would love to have dogs at mine but sadly my dogs are too protective of their home.

“Lisa was amazing with Goose and our two cats. She was punctual, great communication and kind and caring with the animals and the house. I hope Lisa can look after the animals again. Thanks so much Lisa.”
