“Kirsty came and looked after our 2 dogs for the weekend. We’ve had regular communication over the weekend and have returned home to 2 very happy and content dogs and a lovely tidy house. Kirsty was so lovely and accommodating , even when we extended our planned return home by a few hours . We wouldn’t hesistate to use Kirsty again in the future - thanks so much Kirsty 🤩”

“We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Joe for looking after our two adopted dogs while we were away. Joe is reliable and friendly who is clearly really good with dogs. Joe has kept us updated whilst away and our dogs were very happy. Both of our dogs have health conditions and Joe had no issues administering their daily meds. Joe also left our house clean and tidy which was appreciated after a long dat of travelling back. We would highly recommend Joe to anyone, and hopefully he will agree to dog sit for us again in the future.”

About: I have always found animals easier than humans, and have had a special affinity with both my own, and other people's pets. I started young, walking elderly neighbours' dogs at the age of 10, housesitting for relatives with pets in my late teens, and I have also volunteered at an animal rescue and voluntarily dog walk for The Cinnamon Trust. I currently have two dogs, one cat, one green-cheeked conure, a crested gecko, and a corn snake. Previously we have also had rats, mice, a giant land snail, and fish (tropical and cold water!). I am currently studying the Trust Technique, which aims to foster a more natural, less analytical bond with animals. I am also studying in Pet First Aid, Pet Care, and Animal Law, to ensure that aside from being an animal lover a heart, we can also be assured that should anything unexpected happen, I know exactly what to do. I work from home, on a part-time basis. For this reason, I can be super flexible for any of the services you may need, whether that is an arranged walk, popping in to see pets at you home if you are away, house sitting in your own home, or potentially boarding your pups at my own house! It is key to ensure that your pets' routine stays as similar as possible to the normal day to day. I have two small dogs that love to play should your dog feel like it, but we can easily make sure they all have their own space if needed. In your home, I would treat your pet exactly as you would. We have a fenced garden, great walks from the front door, and some of the best beaches and countryside walks around!

About: I have assisted my nan with pet sitting since I was 10. I would care for cats and dogs, but also other animals such as chickens and goats! Since then, I have independently house sitted dogs and cats of different breeds, shapes and sizes for about 3 years. It is my highest priority that the owner feels comfortable from beginning to end. And i will always tailor the experience to the individuals needs, as I appreciate all animals are different and as are all people. I love what I do and can't wait to keep doing more of it! I am currently employed with Harbour Hotels as a spa therapist. I do this 4 days a week including a Saturday. Depending on which days I am needed, I wouldn't be able to be at home all day. However on days off I can be available 24 hours. I no longer own any pets at this moment as i believe it should be for the right reasons. At the moment i dont have the space or time for a cat or a dog. Animal welfare is very important to me and so unless I have the time to absolutely spoil my animals then I do not keep them.

“Mark did a fantastic job for us and Rusty. This was the first time we’d left Rusty with anyone outside of the family and so Mark made time to call round and get to know Rusty several times before we left. He did simple things like walk him round on the lead and have him hop in and out of the back of his car, so Rusty was comfortable with taking instruction from Mark. He discussed what we wanted in terms of general day to day care and activities, but in addition offered helpful advice and suggestions for furthering Rusty’s training and responsiveness? Rusty is a relatively young terrier, so still learning the ropes. Mark has years of experience with dogs and his advice and hands on approach has really helped us and the dog. Mark was also a great house sitter. We came back to a clean and tidy house and Mark was also kind enough to ensure there was milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread for breakfast. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Mark to look after Rusty again and would happily recommend Mark to anyone looking for day care or help with dog training.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and had them throughout my adult life. I currently have a 10 year old English springer spaniel who my partner Bruce and I absolutely adore. I work around what’s best for the dogs, so if the weather is hot I will ensure they get walked when it’s cooler so they can enjoy the walk and be comfortable. I have house sat for 3 dogs recently and the owner was so delighted and said the house was cleaner than when she left it. Consequently they have asked me to sit again. I am used to giving dogs medication also. I work full time Monday to Friday but can also work remotely. I am available in the mornings and evenings weekdays and weekends I can be more flexible. I have an enclosed garden and also have dog crate if needed. We have a lovely woodland area at the bottom of our road where it has lovely shaded areas and fresh water for dogs to bath in. We are lucky to also have a conservation area which is great for dog walks.

“Richard and Emma were amazing. Olly and Pluto were so chilled and enjoyed their trips out. We would definitely recommend Rich and Emma. They are lovely people and kept us up to date with photos and videos. The house was immaculate when we got home and we will definitely keep in touch.”

“Sophie is trustworthy, helpful, reliable and caring. She took care of my dog, whilst also looking after my home, when I was away. I was kept updated at all times and felt very reassured and confident to leave all that's precious to me in her care.”

“Such a lovely lady. I would highly recommend Carolina. She arrived early, walked Bert and Mary and cared for them whilst I was away. Very caring and courteous. I would definitely book again without hesitation.”

About: Hi i'm Nathanael and I live in Brixham, Devon. I grew up in Yorkshire around 3 amazing dogs. A golden retriever, Alsatian and a springer spaniel. Most of my time was spent climbing hills, running through woods or playing in a field with at least one dog beside me. Me and my partner currently own a 11 month old collie puppy, Rudie. He's full of energy, very well behaved and loves other dogs for company. I currently work part time for the emergency ambulance service and have plenty of time free. My partner also works from home, so there is always someone in. Im pretty new to rover, however have plenty of past experience looking after animals, especially dogs. Our dog walking service is aimed at those wanting a proper walk for their dog. We take our collie on 2-3 big walks each week, lasting a minimum of 2-3 hours. This can be anywhere from the woods, to the moors or to the beach. Our walks are jam packed full of adventure and fun. Also, great spaces to train and bond. All dogs welcome. Please make us aware of any special requirements your pet may have and we will do our best to accommodate. My availability will vary week to week, but I will do my best to accommodate for regular bookings. Happy to house sit out of area and have transport. We live in a 3 bedroom house with lots of roaming space. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and can enjoy all of our property. We have a fenced garden to the side of the property and also have the benefit of plenty of parks and open spaces just round the corner. As we have a dog ourselves, any booking will need to be talked over to check suitability. The safety of your pet and ours is of utmost importance to us.

“This was the first time that I have had to leave my George at home due to an unexpected trip and I was so so worried because he requires special attention. I needn’t have worried at all because Holly was fantastic. She brought her adorable dog Digs to stay for a week who George fell in love with immediately. George was well cared for as were our five hens and puss. Not only that but calm and capable Holly dealt with a severe leak in the roof during the night fetching buckets and cleaning up. We came home to a tidy and clean house. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Holly again and highly recommend her services.”

“Florence was a wonderful dog sitter for our boy, Diesel. He is a reactive dog so requires quite a few instructions - she followed them brilliantly and was so patient with him. He was a very happy boy when we came home from holiday and had clearly had a lovely time with her. Thank you, Florence!”
