“Octavia was brilliant. I hadn't left my dogs for this amount of time before and we met Octavia and Storm prior to us leaving and she really put my mind as ease. It was obvious she knew what she was doing and I knew my boys were in great hands - plus my boys got on very well with Storm which was great. Had lots of daily updates, photos and videos and she always responded quickly if I had any questions. My boys had an amazing time and I don't think they wanted to leave! We would definitely use her again if the opportunity was there and id highly recommend her to anyone. Her house is gorgeous and the location is fantastic - every dogs dream!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and regularly take care of friend’s doggos! I am comfortable looking after all breeds and all needs! I work part time so am free all day on a Monday to cuddle with your pups! I live close to Dartmoor so there are lots of great walks nearby for them to enjoy! I have a safe fenced garden in a quiet area. I am experienced in taking care of many different types of dogs and making sure they are comfortable in my home. Originally we asked her to look after our Satffy for a weekend while we had our wedding, we then asked her if she could look after him at the ceremony and even walk him down the isle as he was our ring bearer. She was faultless, so caring and thoughtful. We could see Tyson our staffy felt happy around her and comfortable from the get go. She took great care of him back at her flat and sent us updates. Great communication from enquiring, to booking a visit to make sure our dog got in well with Barney, to booking, before our stay and durn, we had regular videos and photos and communication with Matthew, when we messsaged we would get a reply pretty instantly which was lovely being our first time away from Belle. She has come back happy and content and believe that is all down to Matthew and the family making her so welcome, keeping her routines and the way she likes her bed and things. Dog walking and structured walks can be arranged, covering any areas you wish to improve. I am semi retired and as such have a lot of flexibility for meeting your pet care needs. My day starts with exercising and feeding our resident dogs. Evenings and weekends can be set aside for helping you meet your pets needs I live on a family farm which is no longer farmed. I have 4 permanent dogs in the household. With lots of space for exercising and training on site. I have an indate UK NSV that can be viewed upon request. About: I've always been a bit dog obsessed from a young age and have had a number of dogs myself, including an English Setter rescue from Croatia who'd never lived in a home before & was anxious around many dogs, excluding my lovely Labradoodle, who was his safety blanket, so a lot of love, patience & training was required to give him his best final years of life. I currently have an extremely friendly & sociable Clumber Spaniel X bitch, 16 months old who loves life & would welcome any dog in her home for a day or sleepover/s. So, recent experience of older dogs who just want comfort, company, cuddles & a short stroll to a manic puppy who didn't have an off switch...which I've since found! I live within walking distance to fields & the coastline & work from home with a secure garden so can offer your dog a little holiday whilst you can enjoy yours guilt free knowing that they are happy too! I currently work part time from home, apart from Thursdays when I volunteer for Animals in Distress for 4hrs, so have plenty of time for walks & play time. I have a fenced in secure garden & have a large crate available for your dog if they feel more secure in a crate and they can enjoy the company of my very well socialised dog Clemmie. Should I ever need to pop out I have a Blink camera so that I can always keep eyes on!

About: I have two adopted animals from rescue and one girl I’ve had from a puppy. My eldest has medication and specific washing requirements so I’m used to doing that. I drive so can facilitate vet appointments if needed as required. I work from home, so can work to suit schedules and be near animals as required. I have smaller dogs myself which we can separate if this is something your animal isn’t used to. Having animals myself I understand often complex needs and requirements and can adjust to fit various circumstances as needed. I can familiarise myself with any routine required, and happy to attend beforehand as needed to speak to the owner. I was previously an estate agent, so understand how to lock property safely and take care of the owners space and privacy. About: I've grown up with a variety of pets my whole life and have always been an immense animal lover! Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

About: I offer daycare and dog boarding for a small number of dogs, who will have me, my husband, and our own dog Rufus for company day and night. Rufus is an eight-year-old ''viszlador", a wire-haired viszla / lab cross. He gets on best with females, but he's also fine with males once properly introduced. We have no other pets. We take 2-3 daily walks on the footpaths, coastal paths and beaches of the area, and your dog will have access to our enclosed garden and plenty of toys. I work part-time from home, so I'm always around and am easily able to schedule in some play time and plenty of exercise. We have an enclosed garden and enclosed rear courtyard. Your dog will have access to their own spot in the house if he or she wants some quiet time away from any other dogs. We will agree in advance to any particular preferences you have, such as when (or if) it's OK to let your dog off the lead, sleeping arrangements, feeding schedule etc.
About: I have had dogs my whole life, having been brought up in the countryside with collies. My gorgeous labrador, Storm, is playful and very loving and comes first in every decision I make! I am incredibly passionate about dog welfare and nutrition and always strive to give them the best quality of life. I have always looked after my friends’ and family’s dogs and am proud of the trust they have in me for this. I work full time but fully remote, so I will always be at home to keep an eye on the doggos and have long walks at least twice a day, with toilet breaks whenever needed! I've done some sits for people through the House sitters website (last one was a Cockapoo) and also looked after my brother's Border Collie and my in-law's Lurchers so have experience with different size dogs. As I work from home most of the week and often go for walks in the morning, lunchtime, or evening after work. I'm here all day so can tend to a dog's needs. I can also easily nip out to walk your dog if needed. I don't have a garden but have some lovely walks in the area. “This was a “meet and greet” at Vanessa’s home to check that Tilly and Sammy got on with her. Both doggies seemed to settle and relax during our visit and Vanessa was very calm and gentle with them and let them get to know her in their own time. It seems that they will have Vanessa’s undivided attention when they stay with her and will be allowed to lay on the sofa etc. Vanessa was interested to find out all the caring details for them in advance of their weekend visit next month and I will be preparing some detailed notes for each dog as requested to assist with this. This visit was very helpful for all involved and I’m hoping it will make Tilly and Sammy’s 1st stay away from home without me a happy experience for all.”

About: I have had dogs snd cats since I was little. I have looked after and walked people’s dogs since I was 18 and I love bonding with different breeds and ages of dogs. I currently live with my partner and his family and we have 6 of our own dogs…we’re a bit dog mad! They also do dog sitting and walking, so I have a lot of experience! About: From the age of 6 my family adopted a dog and I walked and cared for him. Since then I have always loved dogs and their very individual personalities. Every time I visit my father in Spain, I happily am the one who cares for his dog. I am currently looking for work that I can do online, so that when I do have work, I would also be able to be home with the dog. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I usually visit a friend to work on an art project, although should you require a full week of dog sitting, book in advance and I can rearrange this. The dog would have access to a fenced garden. There are a few parks locally where the dog can also relieve themselves and exercise. Dogs being pack animals do love attention and I love to pet.

About: I have been house-sitting full-time on Trusted House Sitters (with my partner Asha) since the beginning of this year with all 5-star reviews. Plus, I have looked after all sorts of dogs and cats through friends and family since a young teen! We are freelance musicians who work from home, apart from the occasional gig! We living by house sitting so we have found a way to make this our job! I am a patient and caring animal carer! I enjoy long walks with my dogs and couch cuddles with my cats. I have always had dogs, and trained Lennie along with some of his doggo friends. I would love to be able to care for more doggos! I have had multiple dogs stay before and had a great time. I currently have flexibility, whether that’s needing a house dog sitter or walks Monday - Sunday. Lennie can join for walks or I can walk your dog separately. Lennie also doesn’t have to come for overnight stays if preferred no other dog to be there. I am good at noticing dogs behaviours, and having Lennie the place is set up for dogs! All food far away from access, tons of water bowls and fenced garden. Lennie is very good with other dogs in the house, and if I noticed a doggo feeling anxious or unwell I would straight away notify and make sure they are as comfortable as they can be.

“Octavia was brilliant. I hadn't left my dogs for this amount of time before and we met Octavia and Storm prior to us leaving and she really put my mind as ease. It was obvious she knew what she was doing and I knew my boys were in great hands - plus my boys got on very well with Storm which was great. Had lots of daily updates, photos and videos and she always responded quickly if I had any questions. My boys had an amazing time and I don't think they wanted to leave! We would definitely use her again if the opportunity was there and id highly recommend her to anyone. Her house is gorgeous and the location is fantastic - every dogs dream!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and regularly take care of friend’s doggos! I am comfortable looking after all breeds and all needs! I work part time so am free all day on a Monday to cuddle with your pups! I live close to Dartmoor so there are lots of great walks nearby for them to enjoy! I have a safe fenced garden in a quiet area. I am experienced in taking care of many different types of dogs and making sure they are comfortable in my home. I am free mostly on weekends but often I am available during the week/evenings - please contact me if you have any questions at all! Disclaimer - I appreciate being told if you are running late to collect your pet - if you are late then I will modify the booking to reflect this.

“Jaya had a lovely time with Nicky, who was all round fab! Her place was dog friendly inside and out. Lots of lovely lounge spots inside and sniff interesting outside in the beautiful garden. About: I have worked with all manner of dogs from Pomeranians to military working Malinois. I can help with training inside the home and out, for all members of your family. Dog walking and structured walks can be arranged, covering any areas you wish to improve. I am semi retired and as such have a lot of flexibility for meeting your pet care needs. My day starts with exercising and feeding our resident dogs. Evenings and weekends can be set aside for helping you meet your pets needs I live on a family farm which is no longer farmed. I have 4 permanent dogs in the household. With lots of space for exercising and training on site. I have an indate UK NSV that can be viewed upon request. I love to help dogs fulfil their natural drives, and I'm more thank happy to continue your training requirements whilst exercising your dogs. A fulfilled dog is a confident and happy dog. I will be taking care of your pet during our time together though they may meet other members of my family.

About: I've always been a bit dog obsessed from a young age and have had a number of dogs myself, including an English Setter rescue from Croatia who'd never lived in a home before & was anxious around many dogs, excluding my lovely Labradoodle, who was his safety blanket, so a lot of love, patience & training was required to give him his best final years of life. I currently have an extremely friendly & sociable Clumber Spaniel X bitch, 16 months old who loves life & would welcome any dog in her home for a day or sleepover/s. So, recent experience of older dogs who just want comfort, company, cuddles & a short stroll to a manic puppy who didn't have an off switch...which I've since found! I live within walking distance to fields & the coastline & work from home with a secure garden so can offer your dog a little holiday whilst you can enjoy yours guilt free knowing that they are happy too! I currently work part time from home, apart from Thursdays when I volunteer for Animals in Distress for 4hrs, so have plenty of time for walks & play time. I have a fenced in secure garden & have a large crate available for your dog if they feel more secure in a crate and they can enjoy the company of my very well socialised dog Clemmie. Should I ever need to pop out I have a Blink camera so that I can always keep eyes on!

“Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.”
