“Megan did a wonderful job looking after my cat and fish, and she even watered the flowers because weather was very hot while i was away! She came every day for half an hour to sit with my little cat Beans, who loved having a cuddle and fuss from Megan. I would defo have Megan back again to look after my cat and fish.”

“Rosalind did a great job looking after our cat. We had updates and felt reassured that she was checking on her. Excellent communication! Would recommend”

“I could not recommend Natalie highly enough, from the first visit she did to come and meet us, to the updates and photos, she put my mind completely at ease and seemed to really care about my cats and making sure they were happy. She went so far above and beyond and even stayed longer to make sure they were okay on the second day. I would not hesitate to book her again when I am next away for a weekend!”

About: I've studied animal management at college which I hold a HND (Higher National Diploma) qualification for. I did animal behaviour, training, welfare and ethics etc. I did work experience in a kennels, so I am used to dog walking, cleaning up after dogs, feeding etc.See the photos section of my profile for proof of my qualification. I work part time as a carer at my home for my brother. I can currently do Mondays for sure, Tuesday afternoons, and Friday afternoons. I'm currently learning to drive so once I pass my availability will increase further. We have fencing to keep our dogs in the garden. In someone else's home I'd keep windows shut, doors locked unless going out, and only walk your pets in areas you advise as safe for peace of mind.

“Fantastic service, sent loads of photos. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future”

About: Having grown up with family and friends’ animals, I have experience looking after a variety of dog breeds. Since being a child I have helped take care of friends and neighbours dogs both during the day and overnight. This includes feeding, walking or just letting them out to the toilet. My family have always had dogs and this is what started my passion for animals. Due to working 5 days a week I cannot have a dog of my own yet which is why I’d love to take care of yours. I have a secure fenced garden and live nearby lots of lovely green spaces where I love to walk and would take your dog. I can provide lots of pictures and updates throughout your dogs stay for peace of mind too. I currently work 5 days a week so my weekends are completely free to care for your pets and I can stay with them 24/7. I am free from 4pm on weekdays for drop ins and dog walking. I do occasionally get longer periods off work too where I would be available through the week to take care of your dog too. I have a secure fenced back garden with grass and no toxic plants. I also have good space inside the house that your dog can roam free. I have space for a crate too if needed.

About: I've been taking care of family and friends dogs over the last few years whenever they go away on holidays or just need someone to nip and take them out for a walk. I've had my own dogs since the age of 14, I currently have 3 dogs, 2 springer spaniel x german pointers who are almost 1 and 4 and 14 year old toy poodle. I currently do work full time in a pub so my shifts vary each week. I do different shifts each week some day time and some late night mostly daytime though. I do currently live in a flat with my three dogs, they are all crate trained and friendly. There are many fields and places to go on long walks around here

“Carol was a fantastic sitter. She bonded well with Neko and her communication was fantastic. Will definitely have Carol sit Neko when next away and would highly recommend her to anyone who asks.”

“Marie and her partner did an amazing job coming round our house and looking after our 3 cats whilst we were away on holiday. One of our cats is very skittish around new people and even she was comfortable around Marie which means a lot! Marie played with our cats every visit, emptied litter trays, made sure they were fed, and gave them lots of dreamies too! I could not recommend Marie enough!”

“Great feedback about our cat. Thank you!”

About: I am a huge dog lover and have been taking care of them professionally for the last few years but have had pups my entire life. I have lots of experience of walking and caring for all different kinds of doggos, big and small, with various needs and personalities. I promise to care for your fur babies as I do my own, with lots of love and play and will give them a home away from home where they can relax and feel comfortable. I would treat your pets just like I treat my own, with lots of love and play. Whilst my Pru at age 3 and Folly at 10 months are both full of energy and zoomies.

About: I have a pet dog who we raised back home in the south who I raised since he was 6 weeks. We trained him to do above average levels of commands until his illness took root and we had to reduce the exercise he had. But always able to provide fun and friendly care for animals! I’m currently not working so I’m available all day and weekends of daycare, boarding or pet sitting. I’m an outdoorsy person and couple so walks will always be common with any services. I have a ground floor pet friendly apartment with a riverside greenery area just outside common with city suburbs dog walkers for socialising, walks and playtime

“Very happy to recommend Sarah. She's done two drop-in visits for my dogs and sent photos of happy doggies during the visits. Will definitely book again. 🙂”

About: Hi, I’m Emma, new to Rover, but not new to dogs! I’ve always really liked being around dogs, and I’m now starting out as a sitter and walker to spend more time with them and learn more as I go. I’m reliable, calm, and happy to follow your usual routine so your dog feels settled and well looked after. I have a particular soft spot for labradors – I love how gentle and good-natured they are – but I get along well with all kinds of dogs. I don’t have formal training, but I’m observant and careful, and I take the responsibility seriously. I’ve owned dogs since I was 9 and am always the first to volunteer to look after my family and friends pets! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for your dog, I’d be glad to help. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to talk or arrange a meet. I currently work full time, so would have availability usually after 5pm but will sometimes work late! Weekends are flexible, so I would be happy to accept requests at short notice. I have a car and clean driving licence, so travelling is not a problem. I will always make sure your pets safety and enjoyment is the top of my priorities during any walk or visit! I wouldn’t let them off lead unless requested, and am happy to use a log line so they can have plenty of space to run around.

About: I have always had dogs in the house and enjoy having them around. I am confident in walking, training and bathing animals of all kinds. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets on weekdays, weekends and evenings. Please get in touch to discuss more! I’m an active person and love long walks in nature so your pet can get their exercise in with me! Similarly I love to curl up with a good book so plenty of chill time as well depending on your animal’s needs.

About: Had 2 staffies as family pets, who lived to a great age. Used to look after friends dog when they was away on holiday often I worked full time, mainly working 3 nights a week as a nurse. I can do anytime during the day on my days off, which is usually 4 days off per week or longer depending on my off duty. Back garden is enclosed and front garden has a hedge and gate. My house is secure. I would be very respectful in other peoples properties

About: I will choose a day with an animal over anything else. I have always had a special spot for them in my heart. In my ideal world, I adopt all the stray dogs and cats in the world. I currently work part time, mainly from home with a flexible routine which enables me to pet care. I have no children, or any other commitments, therefore I am able to be flexible. I live in a house with a nice gated garden with enough room to run and move around. When I’m at their house I take full safety precautions to look after the fur babies and keep them both safe and happy.

About: As an experienced dog carer, 've been around dogs all my life. Being around animals is second nature for me! I can offer your 'family' member all the comfort it needs. In my life I've had the pleasure to meet all sorts of animals, this has been my life for many years something I love doing! My time is flexible. More than comfortable with all kinds of animals, however I specialise in dog care. This would be done in the comfort of your own home!

About: I’m happy to help however many people out as I can. I love animals and I love walking so I feel like this would be good for me to get more experience ☺️ At this time I am fully flexible and available for anyone nearby. I love animals and I know we can’t always look after our loved ones and need the help. I do have 2 dogs at my home that don’t get along with other dogs sometimes so I’m not going to bring any pets to my house. I’m happy to take them on walks and go out with them but I would never risk taking them to my home as I dont want to cause harm to your animals or mine.
