“5* doesn’t quite seem enough! If I could give 10* I would. I’ve just picked up my nearly 18yr old terrier, for her stay at Wendy’s and I was greeted by a very happy and contented little dog. The care that Wendy gave was nothing more than supreme. With my little dog being an older age, it can be difficult finding someone and leaving her with them, but on my meet and great with Wendy, I knew I had nothing to worry about. Throughout the sit Wendy kept me updated and I could clearly see my little dog was happy with Wendy. Thank you Wendy for caring for Betty as if she was your own, and giving me such peace of mind.”

“Alana was fantastic with our little boy Geno. He has a bit of anxiety and she was extremely kind and patient with him. She sent us several updates and it was obvious she really cared and wanted Geno to be happy and comfortable. We will definitely book with Alana again!”

About: I have been around dogs all my life, from big to small. I’ve looked after families dogs plenty of times, one which requires diabetic medication and care. In october 2024, I took on a dog that required extra care and attention due to anxiety and being abused as a pup. I work as a TA with flexible hours. Due to the nature of my job, I only work 1-3 days a week which means I can be readily available when needed. I have a large fenced garden with double doors that open onto it, and I am happy to leave the doors open for air flow and to allow the dog freedom of being inside or outside. I can crate if required.

“What can I say from start to finish I have been absolutely thrilled with the service Sarah provided. Great communication throughout, doggy updates daily but most of all our dogs were truly made to feel at home and superbly looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to use Sarah again in a heartbeat”

“Jessie seemed very happy and had two lovely doggy friends to keep her company too. Plenty of space, located in lovely surroundings, lots of greenery! Very responsive to messages, photos recieved too. Overall I am over the moon with the service we had from Fiona. Jessie can be a whirlwind so thank you for looking after her for us 🩷”

Alice is one of the friendliest souls we've met, and goes above and beyond to keep your dog happy. Badger got taken into the family as if he was their own and we absolutely loved that! Makes it feel so safe to leave him. We didn't have any moment of worry! We'll definitely will be back! Badger can't wait. :)”

“Julie and her husband were so welcoming when we arrived and our dog had a wonderful sleepover in their lovely home. They made sure they had all the details they needed to give the best care for her and took her for some lovely walks, we got updates and photos. When we got there to pick her up everything was ready for us and our dog was so calm and settled. I would highly recommend Julie!”

About: I have a genuine love and interest for all animals and have experience with most household animals from a young age. I have a pug called Lola and she has been my little best friend for the last 7 years. I work full time, however this is local and luckily only a 5 minute drive from my flat. *on annual leave between 2 -24 Aug therefore will be at home during this period*. I would be able to care for your pet in my home or potentially in your home (for lunch time /evening walks or drop in visits). I enjoy staying active and will ensure your dog is properly exercised - I can provide long walks or short whichever you request. I live alone in a spacious two bedroom flat (with Lola). Your pet will have free roam and freedom to sleep where he/she wishes whether that be on the sofa, their bed or a crate which you provide. I have no garden but do have a large grass area opposite my flat which also leads into a large wooded area. I can assure you that your pet will be in the best hands and I will make sure that they feel loved and are well looked after. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of feeling reassured and comfortable that your pet is in safe hands whilst you are away (leaving them is hard enough!!) which is why I want to provide this for other people.

“Derek had a great time with Robyn and their dog! As soon as the front door opened it was clear that the environment was a very fun and caring one for Derek, with plenty of toys which he loved! Received a photo too which gave a lot of assurance he was still enjoying himself. Will definitely book again and highly recommend.”

“Grace had our boy Ralph for a night when we went away. We were worried he wouldn’t settle being somewhere new however grace was fantastic with him. Lots of updates and pictures of him having fun and and a very happy boy when we returned. Highly recommend!”

About: • Understanding of dog body language and behavior • Skilled in positive reinforcement training • Confident handling reactive or nervous dogs • Experience with multi-dog environments • Ability to give medications or manage special diets • Safe off-lead play and recall in secure areas • Basic first aid for dogs I currently have a flexible working from home job allowing me to take my own dog on three walks per day in the nature reserve behind our house. Your dog will be able to join us and have my full presence throughout the day and evening. We have a large fenced garden which is great for exercise (especially our working cocker spaniel). We also have a separate fenced yard for dogs that would like a bit of downtime. Your dog will have the full run of the downstairs of our house, yard and garden all day every day. We cater for crate trained dogs and dogs who like to be free roaming, they’re free to make themself at home wherever they feel most comfortable. Aswell as our large garden, we have a lovely nature reserve directly behind our house meaning your dog will enjoy three or more walks per day (if they desire), allowing them to explore.

“Steve was great and Myla had the best time! He made her so welcome and at home from the minute she walked in and the walks she went on looked like great fun!”

About: I absolutely love dogs and I miss having my own. I have had my own dogs from a young age, up until a few years ago. I have experience in senior care with one of my dogs living up to the age of 17. I regularly look after my friend’s dogs overnight and I absolutely love taking them on walks in my free time. I work full time during the week and therefore I am only able to look after dogs at the weekends term - time. During the school holidays I can possibly do during the week. I will show your dogs so much love. I am often out in the garden and will let your dogs out frequently so they can have access to the garden at all times if they wish. My garden is fully secure for your dog to relax and run around in. My home is cosy, full of blankets and cushions for them to cuddle into. I am more than happy for your dogs to be up on the sofa and in my bed.

“Stephen is just fab and goes that extra mile to ensure his clients and their pets are well looked after. On our recent booking, as well as boarding our dog, he also visited our house twice daily to look after our two cats and guinea pig, which ensured everything was stress free. He really goes above and beyond to ensure client feel reassured and happy. My dog is always happy and excited to see Stephen and has a lovely time expressing natural behaviours out in the forest with the other doggies. Stephen is trustworthy, reliable flexible with regard to animal care and pick up/drop off arrangements, and I’d recommend him highly to anyone needing a helping hand with their pets.”
