They seemed to settle in quite well but then expressed some concerns and started turning on one another which led to Jodie seeking advice from Rover as I was out of the country, she did try to contact me but with the time difference I was already asleep so I was grateful she seeked professional advice. It ended with the dogs having to spend time apart and she handled this so well and I can’t thank her enough. From the moment we first met them, it was clear they were true dog people, and we instantly felt confident Richmond would be in safe hands. They made sure he felt completely at home, keeping to his normal routine, feeding him exactly what he’s used to, and ensuring he had all his home comforts, like his blanket from home that he loves to sleep under! Richmond enjoyed two walks a day, and we could tell he was happy and relaxed in their company. Every evening, we received an update with photos and videos, which was such a lovely touch and really helped us feel connected while we were away - we missed him so much, so seeing his happy face meant the world. It was also clear to see that Scott and Phoebe genuinely enjoyed having Richmond with them, and when it came time to say goodbye, they were sad to see him leave. That level of care and connection really says it all. Scott and Phoebe were absolutely brilliant with Richmond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable, and genuine sitters. Rupert was a little nervous on the handover and Tara put Roo (and me!) at ease instantly. She is very welcoming and warm and clearly a complete natural with dogs. Emma sent us videos of him playing with her other Dogs, out on his walks with her family and all his new doggie friends.
