About: I live in Bristol and provide pet-sitting services nationwide. I grew up with dogs, border collies and jack russell terriers, in the north of England. 20 years in the London rat race (project management) and 12 years of meditation, travel and independent study later... animals are back in my life, and for now taking centre stage! I returned from 3 years living in India in July 2024 and have been pet-sitting for the majority of the time since then. I've had the good fortune to meet a vast array of quirky characters along the way, four-legged and two-legged alike! Making new friends all the time! I've had cockapoo puppies, lazy old hounds, adolescent staffies, cheeky pugs, rescued terriers, OAP shih tsus, anxious chinese cresteds and a whole host of super cool cats to keep me on my toes... I've never been happier! I am currently working on a terrifying writing project and immersed in research for the foreseeable future. This keeps me at home most of the time so your beloved furry/scaly/feathery friends will have plenty of company and attention. My writing, studies and occasional freelance research work are all completed online, so my time and geographical location can be flexible according to your needs. Essentially, I try to remain as flexible as can be! Having said that, I travel the country doing this work and will always prioritise longer durations, 1-week+. I will be relocating semi-permanently in Bristol, Brighton or London in 2026, so opportunities in these places will likely pique my interest for 2025. My rates are negotiable for longer sits! Let's talk! I have spent the last year caring for dogs and cats in their own homes, and this is the service I offer here. Dogs and cats benefit immensely from being in their own environment and having consistency in their daily routine. I recommend conducting a full consultation, either in person or via VC, before committing to a sit. I will have many questions about your loved ones, such as behavioural issues, medical history, likes/dislikes, routine, preferences for play, do's and don'ts, etc. Whenever possible, I prefer to spend a few hours with you and your pets before you leave, just to help them feel at ease after your departure and to ensure I know everything I need to know. My iCloud storage is bursting at the seams with photos and videos of dogs and cats in myriad states of play, rest, love and hilarity. You'll have regular updates and pics to remind you how lucky you are to be returning home.

“I can’t speak highly enough of this awesome woman. We returned to a happy and relaxed dog- totally as if we’d never been away- and a house as bright as a new pin. A total pleasure- many many thanks, Lucy”

“Molly was amazing!! So friendly & responsive as well. She sent us lots of updates and pictures of both my boys and from the moment my two dogs met her they instantly felt at ease and super comfortable around her which made it easier for me!! I couldn’t recommend Molly enough, one of the nicest people I’ve met and has such a dedication to caring for the dogs!!”

“Thank you Emily! Emily spent the whole day with our golden retriever. She came and did and meet and greet before hand which was super helpful. She was really good with any details I had about training that our dog has been doing (she's an assistance dog in training). Jozi clearly liked Emily a lot and had a great day with her. We would definitely book with Emily again.”

“Lara did an excellent job at looking after our two boys! She kept us updated with what they were up to and sent some great photos over. The house was left spotless and the boys were happy and looked healthy too! I would recommend Lara 100% and will certainly book with her in the future!”

About: I’ve always had such a great love for dogs and have always grown up around them. I’ve been taking care of family & friends pets for 10 years. I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, which consisted of me walking, feeding, bathing, spending time with them and ensuring they are happy! I currently have a full time job Monday-Friday 9-5:30 but I’m happy to do this in the evenings after work or anytime on the weekends! My partner stays at mine on weekends and he’s more than happy to do this with me! Unfortunately I’m unable to have pets in my rented place but me and my partner are more than happy to go to the pet owners place to look after their pets there!

“This was the first time I’d had a house sitter for my dog, and I couldn’t be happier. Coral is a wonderful person, very calm and considerate, and takes care of Tiggy so well. I went away feeling very confident leaving my dog in her care.”

About: I have had dogs in my home since i was born and have loved and cared for them my entire life from my blind chihuahua Max to my loyal golden retriever Toby to my grandads boxer and Rottweiler even my Fiancé’s American bulldog I am a full time Uni student and part time kitchen assistant but always active on my free days hoping to help anyway i can with our furry family members. All my dogs have been crate and house trained so they have free space to roam and a safe place they can go if it becomes too much. My house had a smaller garden so i understand how important walks are to relieve pent up energy.

“Chloe house sat for us for 5 nights. She clearly knows dogs very well. She was proactive asking questions about Lyra, our Australian shepherd, as well as the house. We could tell Lyra was very happy throughout the stay from all the photos and updates we received. Will definitely use Chloe again!”

About: Being a pet-owner of a rescue for the past 3 years - this definitely is not “hobby” for me. I treat animals as if they were my own, as I know they’re precious in their household. I appreciate the quirks and sass of each animal too. Nothing is too weird for me. I work full-time and have the flexibility to be hybrid, so it allows me to spend some quality time with your pet if they’re a bit more on the anxious side! Because I spend a fair amount of time indoors during the week - I prioritise going for a walk on weekends or during the week in the mornings/evenings. I’d let them have a roam and sniff of the new environment. I also have an outside area for those who need to use the loo!

“Brennie was really good with Rufus. She’s very professional and was keen to follow his normal daily routine and kept us up to date with lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely book again.”

About: We're a young professional couple who’ve had dogs our whole lives. We can’t have one right now due to work, but we'd love to give yours a safe, loving home while you're away—treating them like part of the family. We both work till 6pm on weekdays with evenings and weekends free. When we are free we are happy to both fit our schedule around your dogs daily routine. While we don’t have a garden we live on a quiet street with lots of walks around us and are willing to take the dog out regularly for toilet breaks and walks. The dog will be treated like one of the family and will be kept to the rules they have when they’re at your home.

August G.
“August came to sit for me in September last year whilst I was away for 5 weeks visiting family in Australia and New Zealand. I returned from my trip to find my two pugs, Winnie and Frankie, happy, healthy, and clearly very well cared for. My home was spotless, the fridge was fully stocked and to top it all off, August had even prepared lunch for my return. While I was away, August kept me updated regularly with messages and photos, which made being apart from my dogs much easier. It was obvious from the updates that he gave them plenty of love, attention and exercise—and he even handled an unexpected vet visit with care and competence. Winnie and Frankie clearly adored him and I think it’s safe to say he grew quite fond of them too. ❤️ August is incredibly trustworthy and genuine and he treated both my home and my dogs as if they were his own. My neighbours also commented on what a lovely person he is. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gus to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and loving caregiver for their beloved pets.”
