“Caitlin was an absolute gem of a sitter. She sat our two old dogs at our home for a week and from the meet and greet all the way to the last day of our trip she gave us frequent updates and photos from our dogs which made us feel reassured that they are in good and caring hands so we could also enjoy our holiday without having to worry about our dogs. She took them for their routine walks and ensured they had clean water, food, treats and lots of love. Our oldest dog gets seizures a handful of times a year and unlucky for Caitlin, he had two episodes while she was sitting him. She handled the situation very well and kept us in the loop frequently. We came back to two happy dogs and a very clean and tidy house so not only she was a great house sitter but she also was a great guest at the house while we were away. Can't recommend Caitlin enough and hopefully she liked our dogs enough to help us in future sittings as well. Thank you Caitlin.”

About: Hi! I’m Jo and a huge dog lover. Growing up I had a family dog, a border terrier called Millie who sadly passed away last year. She was the best dog and loved hiking in the Lakes - she almost walked all of the Wainwrights there! She was 17 when she died so I have had that amount of time looking after her. Feeding, walking and giving her lots of cuddles! Although Millie is no longer around a lot of my friends and extended family have dogs so I’m always around them. I’m looking to fill that dog-shaped whole in my life by looking after your dog and giving it the care it deserves! I’m currently off work for the school holidays l, as I’m a teacher, therefore have a lot of free time now in the holidays! I am free to look after your dog through the week and at the weekends. However, I am only available to house sit too or take your dogs for walks :). You can fully trust that I will take care of your dog as if it were my own! I can be really flexible for the next month as I have a completely free schedule. I am more than happy to house sit and take your dog out for walks and stick to any dietary or bathing requirements.

About: Grown up with dogs all my life with various breeds, mostly whippets/greyhounds, but had a patterdale when I was younger. A big dog lover, often help friends & family dog sit!! I currently work local to Gosforth, and have most evening ls during the week free for walking, dog sitting!! Happy to help with dogs needs :) Have a small yard which is fenced off and can have them where I live which is safe and secure. I would be happy to go to owner’s home too.

About: I have a deep passion for animals and have gained experience over the years through taking care of animals of my own and also of family’s and friends’. I’ve owned rodents since I was very young, but also helped looking after family members cats and walked friend’s dogs. My grandmother has also owned a farm, where I was able to help feeding the animals and the occasional stray cats that came to visit. “I couldn’t recommend Phoebe enough! We have just came back from a week away and Phoebe stayed at my house with my dog, Nellie and cat, Mango. Phoebe has been amazing from the get go, meeting Nellie and mango prior so that they knew who she was, and took Nellie on a trial walk also. They both love her so much and I couldn’t be happier with the bond that she now has with them, she gave me so much reassurance and sent photos and videos and kept me up to date through out the week we were away. She took Nellie on loads of long walks to burn all the energy that she has and gave them loads of attention. About: I had a Labrador for 13 years who I loved and cared for. My work doesn’t allow me to have my own dog at the moment, so want to provide care for yours, to benefit both you and I 😊 I work full time and will be in the office Mon-Thu so I am currently offering weekend care, from Friday to Monday morning. My weekends are usually active with trips to the coast or walks through parks. I live in a terraced house so I do have a yard, however I would take your dogs to the park for walks. I live by myself in a 3-bed terraced house, so lots of room for dogs, crates, etc. I would recommend you bringing your dogs own bowls/dishes and I will use these and keep them clean before returning. I am a clean and tidy person and can provide photos of my home prior to bookings. For dog sitting in your house, we can talk and agree what you would prefer happens in your own home.
