“We have a 3 legged disabled Rottweiler who has vulnerabilities and can be very cautious with people she doesn’t know. We contacted Jake who went out of his way to adapt his home for her as she struggles with smooth wooden floors. We tried an overnight stay to see how she is and how he bonds with her. Jake went above and beyond to accommodate Xena. We then went on our family holiday and he sent regular updates and worked on the bond and building the trust with Xena over the 2 week period. He gained her trust to overcome her vulnerabilities and we got regular updates and photos. I would highly recommend Jake. He put our minds at ease knowing our dog was getting what she needed and was well looked after. Thanks Jake 👍”

“Princess was gold 🌟 with our whippet Pomos. A most lovely person with a kind heart. Pomos was walked often and fed as she would have been at home. She was loved and made comfatable. Princess sent me txt and photos during her overnight stay and did her best to put us at ease. I would definitely leave Pomos with princess again. She came back relaxed and happy 😊”

About: I was raised with pets my whole life. My family focuses on rescuing dogs and cats from troubled backgrounds, and helping them relearn what a warm and loving home can be. From the age of 11, I both babysat and dogsat for my neighbours and friends of my parents. Since moving to university, I've missed my pets more than anything, and am very keen to get to know some furry friends here in Newcastle! I have experience looking after my friend's very bouncy cocker spaniel, and am looking to expand now that I have more time through summer. Although I don't have a garden, I have easy access to grass outside of my building, and am a 5 minute walk away from Exhibition Park. I am a part-time student, currently on summer break, so I am completely free and completely flexible to look after your pets. I also tutor but that is completely freelance, so I'm free to build my own schedule. I have a very calm demeanor, and prioritise making sure the dog is completely comfortable in my presence. I am happy to set up an initial meeting (free of charge) with your pet while you are there, so that they can get to know me and my scent before we spend time alone together.

“Viral and his wife took amazing care of our family dog. They looked after him like he was their own pet and provided me with lots of updates, pics and videos to put my mind at ease. I was worried about leaving Ralf for our trip as he is like another child to me, but even from the meet and greet prior to the the stay my mind was put at ease”

“Katy is an amazing Dogsitter, my dog Finch was so comfortable and relaxed he didn’t want to come home. It was great getting daily updates about how he was getting on and seeing how well he’d settled with her 2 dogs. Couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be booking in with Katy next time we go away.”

“so happy with the service kyriakos provided! He gave regular updates which really helped as it was buddy’s first time staying somewhere. You can really tell kyriakos has such a strong love for dogs.”

“Olena and her son gave Fezziwig the best time while we were away for a long weekend 😊. What we liked about Olena is that she was really keen to know what Fezziwig liked right from the beginning. We received some lovely photos and videos regularly and this was so reassuring while we were abroad. Fezziwig was having the best time and this meant we could too. He was able to enjoy playing with his tennis balls on a walk and Olena ensured she gave that priority as she understood that was important to help him settle. In fact Fezziwig settled right away and when we collected him at the end he was calm, happy and had been well loved. We fully recommend Olena as a dog sitter as she really cares for dogs and they are happy around her. Thanks Olena and your family…until the next time. 😊”

“Michaela was 100% the best choice we made for dog boarding. We got married 28.06.24 so needed our 2 dogs looked after from the 27th-29th june 2024. Our dogs don't do well in kennels, we tried them once and I and they hated it. When I found Michaela on Rover, we exchanged messages, she asked a lot of questions about the dogs such as routines, health, and much more. We met up at watergate park so she could meet them before they went to stay. During their stay I received updates on how they were doing and when I picked them up I was told they had settled right in with Michaela's husband taking a particular shine to Bella. I would 100% recommend Michaela and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Adam and his partner looked after my corgi Watson for 3 days and was excellent from start to finish. They were able to take him on last minute, which really helped me out a lot! The communication and care shown were top notch, and Watson had a great time and a big snooze when he came home. Highly recommended!”

“Simba has returned from his first night away and what can say … I was so worried about leaving him but I had nothing to fear as Alla and her daughters have taken such great care of him. Alla sent me lots of updates showing me pics and videos of him playing and being happy. Simba will most definitely be going back to stay with Alla again, such a lovely lady and daughters love Simba. Highly recommend”

About: I currently work full time as a nurse but often dog sit for friends and also help with walks through the week from time to time, I work shift patterns and have my shifts well in advance to be able to look after pets weekdays and weekends. I have owned dogs in the past but unfortunately given my own shift patterns could not commit to one full time. I currently live alone and have a very large sofa which I am happy to share. I will happily look after your dog giving full affection after a nice walk. Always willing to play and have a huge gated back garden.
