“A huge thank you and shoutout to Eloise and Stan — they were amazing with our cat while we were away! You can tell they really love animals and are excellent at their job. They even sent us pictures, which was so thoughtful and reassuring. When we got back, Sammy was super relaxed and happy. We just moved to the area, so it's great knowing we can count on them. We highly recommend them!”

“Shauna was so great with our cat. She visited promptly twice daily as requested, followed the feeding/litter instructions and took the cat out in the garden, overall providing great company for our little darling. Have already booked again for future visits :)”

About: Hi! My name’s Lacey and I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, and I truly love what I do. I’ve recently joined Rover, but I’m already walking dogs locally and have been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends for years. I’ve previously worked as a dog trainer’s assistant, kennel and cattery assistant, veterinary care assistant, animal carer at a rescue centre, and veterinary receptionist. These roles have given me the confidence and skills to care for pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have my own dog called Dougie and he is my world. So I know exactly how it feels to leave your baby with someone knew, but I will always be sure to provide the exact same amount of love and cuddles as Dougie. I also have lots of experience administering medications and caring for pets with additional needs, including elderly animals, puppies and kittens, and those with sensory impairments like deafness, blindness, or limited mobility. Whether it’s a walk, home visit, or a cosy overnight stay, I treat every pet like they’re my own – with plenty of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. I’m available for: 🐾 Dog walking 🐾 Dog and cat sitting 🐾 Dog boarding in a calm, home-from-home environment I hope you’ll consider me as your pet’s new best friend. I’d love to meet your furry family! Feel free to message me with any questions or to arrange a meet-and-greet to chat about your pet’s needs. 🐶🐱💛 I currently work a flexible, work from home job where I am available all day. My main availability is after 4pm Monday-Friday and between 6am - 9pm on weekends. I have a spacious home that I share with my partner and Dougie. Dougie is a laid-back, friendly boy who loves to socialise and has no problems with other dogs or cats. I have a secure, walled/fenced garden with a locked gate which your pets will have access to.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over 5 years looking after: cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters and rabbits. I have the most experience with cats but love all animals. Having volunteered in a cats protection cattery for over a year I am good at working with shy and lively pets. I spent lots of my childhood walking dogs for elderly relatives and love spending time with dogs. I’m currently working part time so have lots of time to spend with your pet(s). All times on weekdays and mornings on the weekend I’m free to prioritise animals :) I can come feed your pets and keep them company with cuddles or playing if they like. I can also take dogs for walks, long or short depending on what they are used to.

“Rosie was a star during our drop-in visits for our two kitties. She communicated excellently, took regular photos, and even went as far as to take in post and put out the bins for us... and of course, kept our furry friends fed and watered. Thanks Rosie!”

“Thank you Jacky - Everything went very smoothly A few pictures of the evening with Murphy too made us feel a lot more relaxed. Murphy was very happy and content when we got back after our evening out”

“Would not hesitate to recommend Wendy She looked after our nearly 12 year old senior girl in our house twice while I was working for an hour each day as Maddie would struggle with doggy day care these days We met Wendy prior to her sitting for us and Maddie was very impressed with her bag of treats! Wendy subsequently came both days and we couldn't have been happier (including the dog !) Wendy let her out in the garden and made sure she had water she even bought a package in from the doorstep I really appreciated Wendy pet sitting for us as while I was at work I knew I didn't have to worry about her which was such a relief We will definitely be asking Wendy again to pet sit in the future”

“I’d be very happy to recommend Elena. She took great care of our five cats while we enjoyed a much needed break and she provided us with the peace of mind we needed to fully relax. She clearly has affinity for animals and our crew didn’t seem to miss us at all, thanks to her drop-in visits. It was a great comfort having a report on how the cats were doing and seeing photos of them being pampered. Elena is a real gem and we’ll definitely make use of her services again!”

About: We’re a family of four with twin 6 year old girls who absolutely adore spending time with dogs. Caring for animals has always been a big part of our lives. Personally, I’ve grown up around dogs and have a deep love and respect for them. We had a King Charles Spaniel named Finlay during my childhood, and we all absolutely adored him. These days, we regularly look after my mum’s dog, Lulu (pictured), and my brother’s dog, Kipling (also pictured). They’re both a joy to care for, and it’s become something of a family tradition to help out whenever we’re needed. The girls love getting involved too, and they’ve developed such a gentle and caring way with animals. We’d love the opportunity to care for your dog as if they were part of our own family! Pet care blends seamlessly into our routine, especially with the flexibility of working from home most of the week. It's ideal for taking the dogs out for walks and letting them into the garden. Plus, it offers great opportunities for our kids to learn and grow! We have a spacious home where your furry friend can freely explore, along with a large fenced garden for them to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.

About: I started out by walking dogs for my neighbours after school, about 22 years ago. I was paid £1 per week, which increased to £2 eventually! For the last 10 years, I have been providing reliable pet care for dogs and cats of different sizes and breeds. My priority is not only in guaranteeing the necessary nurturing for a pet but also building a strong emotional bond with them and ensuring safety. I have been a cat owner for most of my life. My animals are so loved and cared for, and yours will be too. I believe quality pet care is a combination of comprehensive essential care, safe environment and building a strong emotional bond, where pets feel loved and secure. I am available to house sitting, walks and visits. I can take lots of walks in the day with your dog, play games, work on commands, stick to schedules if needed. I can be available 7 days a week and can work remotely most of the time. I also manage my own work diary so I can be flexible around your dogs schedule and needs. I may need to run our for work errands, but most of the time, pets under my nurturing are never left alone for long. While sitting your pet in your home, instructions will always be kept to. Just as much respect will be given to your home as your pet. Security of your home will be maintained. Your pet's needs will always come first.

About: I grew up with a dog who I trained through puppy training classes and two cats who I adored. Since moving away from home, I have looked after many gorgeous dogs in my own home or in the owners where I have always received glowing feedback. I can share you daily updates to reassure you that your four-legged friend is being well looked after. I also used to work with Lily's Kitchen so have a good understanding of the food and care that dogs need and will ensure your dog comes back to you fit, happy and healthy. I currently work from home 3 days a week so I am around from Friday - Tuesday uninterrupted where your dog will be at my side 24/7. I love running and walking before, at lunch and after work as well as on the weekends where I enjoy having some four-legged company. I have access to the countryside just a short 5 minutes walk from my front door so your pup is guaranteed to explore loads of different areas whilst they're with me. I have a small flat which is why I only look after smaller dogs. It is neat and tidy so I welcome clean, well-behaved dogs with open arms and even let them sneak onto my bed to sleep at night time as I know they can feel worried being away from home. I take them out for regular wee breaks, along with a short walk before work and a long walk after. On the weekends, we will spend plenty of time outside on long walks and I often like to arrange seeing friends who have dogs so they can play together in a safe environment.

About: I’m Sophie and I love dogs! I’m a uni student looking to spend time with dogs whenever I can. I had an amazing dog for 10 years, she was called Chloe and was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She was the best dog I could have asked for and she grew up with me. I’ve always loved dogs from since I can remember and it would be great to care for dogs who I can create great bonds with. I’ve looked after friends dogs before and so I have a lot of experience dog walking and caring for dogs. I am very active and love to go for runs, as well as go for walks so I can adapt to different activity levels for different breeds. I will treat every dog as if they were my own and ensure they are shown a great deal of love, hugs and belly rubs! I am currently a university student and I am on placement at different hospitals during the day in the week. But I am free to walk and look after dogs in the evenings and on the weekends. I especially have a lot of free time during the holiday periods! If I am caring for your dog at your home, I am happy to hear all about the dogs normal routine to try and keep their time at home as normal as possible.

About: I have worked with animals since leaving college, from racehorses to rabbits, and everything in between. I have lots of house sitting experience, looking after a range of animals including ex racing greyhounds, guard dogs and family pets. I have grown up with cats, dogs, rabbits and Guinea pigs, and am happy looking after all of these. I am insured to walk up to four dogs at once. I currently work as a freelance equine groom and some shifts in my local pub, which allows me the freedom to manage my diary as I please. I can be flexible with my hours (with some notice) depending on what suits you! I am happy to offer a free meet and greet with your pets, to work out the best ways to manage their needs and safety!

“We cannot recommend Nicholas highly enough. We went away for a few days and haven’t left our furry boy outside of family before. We returned home to a very chilled cat, He was very well looked after and Nicholas took the time to play with him and send us updates. We really appreciated him taking in some deliveries for us too. We will definitely be using him again. Communication was super easy and prompt.”

About: I am delighted to be able to offer dogs a home from home experience in my family home. I have always cared for animals. From feeding strays on holidays as a child to volunteering in rescue centres. In Great Bookham, I have my two Weimaraners Cybill and Ollie, but still have bags of energy to look after your beloved dogs! I offer overnight stays in the comfort of my clean and tidy and spacious house as well as daytime care for you. Apart from the school run, I am at home nearly all day every day to lavish attention in your pets. I have a large fenced in garden. Downstairs there are four spacious rooms the dogs can roam around in and a large sofa for them to lounge around on or there are lots of dog beds on the new laminate floor. The kitchen floor is ceramic tiles which longer haired dogs appreciate on a hot day!

“Emma was super reliable and consistent. She provided a full report each day and plenty of photos of the fun Cosmo was having in our absence. Great communication too. Thanks Emma!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life since day one, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I’ll tailor my care to suit their needs – from active walks to running if they’re up for it. I work flexible hours, which means I can adapt to your schedule. Mornings and early afternoons work best, though evenings are also possible with a bit of notice. I would prefer to discuss this with you. Clarify your requirements and decide whether I can assist. Pets are not the same and their requirement may vary. I will guarantee affection and hugs regardless of the pet. 🐾

About: I have had animals my whole life through owning cats, dogs, and hamsters. I’ve grown up with big dogs so I will not be daunted by any size. I have looked after puppies training to be guide dogs and attended dog agility sessions before. I also have worked in care homes and with children so I can handle pretty much anything. I have experience cat sitting for my neighbours when I was in college. I also currently have a dog and hamster at home and live with friends who own a cat. I’m currently a full-time student and athlete however, I have days off Thursday-Sunday which gives me plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I will probably spoil them a bit too much with attention but having a furry friend is such a good stress reliever which I need as I finish my final year at University. I also play rugby competitively so I am very active and don’t mind walking in the rain or dealing with mud!! I am more than confident handling animals of all sizes and can read signs of sensitivity or unease. If your dog is food motivated then I’ll always have treats on hand to keep them safe and close and maybe teach them a few tricks if you’d like. My current dog is scared of cellotape so I understand pets can have peculiar quirks which need extra attention and caution. Regarding walks, I know how scary it is to see a stranger’s dog off the lead so I always shout ahead to check if their dog is friendly before releasing mine from command. I also am aware of specific house rules involving crate training, off the sofa, garden areas off limits etc and I will work hard to keep the cheeky pets in line.

“Ariana was absolutely fantastic!! We were away for half term so Ariana both pet say and house sat, she came over before we left to talk through everything, which was great, and then gave us regular updates whilst we were away. She is such a lovely person, and we will definitely use her again...”

“We found lacey to look after our fur baby when we had to leave the city for a good few hours after hearing off a friend about her. WOW. I’ve never felt so relaxed leaving my baby with someone. We’ve actually used Lacey a few times now and rely upon her as it’s extremely difficult to trust people now. She sent pictures, updates and listened to the routine we like to have with our fur baby. It was such a relief meeting such a down to earth person who clearly has a passion and love for dogs. Our dog is always so excited when she sees Lacey again and comes back very relaxed (thankfully gives us some peace and quiet when we get home!) 100% would recommend!”

“Lauryn has grown up with medium/large dogs, hence has experience and good knowledge of what they need. We have left her in charge of our dog on numerous occasions, without hesitation. Lauryn is both reliable and dependable and is just what your dog needs & wants. She knows dog etiquette and once established is often found choosing to sit on the floor & cuddling/playing with them. Over the years, we have also looked after various neighbours dogs, friends dogs and more recently canine partners dogs - Lauryn has been involved in all of these and hence had experience with small dogs, puppies, and dogs in training.
