“Fantastic couple kept in contact from the minute I asked to book with them, Gary set up. Meet up date so we could meet prior to taking my boy to them. Both Gary and Anita were very welcoming when we arrived to meet up, then from the minute I dropped my boy off, to when I picked him up they were in giving a couple of updates every morning and evening. As much as my dog was happy to see me when I picked him up. I knew straight away, he had been treated like their own pet and was very calm and relaxed. He had the best time with Gary and Anita and I will definitely book with them again if they have availability the next time I need someone to look after my cheeky but loving boy.”

“WOW! What an amazing find. Michael is a fantastic ‘sitter’. Our first time leaving Kali and knowing she can be a little nervous we were apprehensive when we left her despite having previously met Michael to introduce Kali but we needn’t have worried. Michael gave Kali some wonderful long walks taking in woodlands and water which she loves. His home is lovely, clean, very dog friendly and has a great garden for dogs as well. Cuddles on the sofa appeared to be the order of the day after returning from the walks! Regular updates photos and links to where they were walking provided us with the confidence that Kali was being well looked after. We would have no hesitation in recommending Michael and asking Michael to look after Kali again in the not to distant future.”

I'm close to safe, dog-friendly walking routes, and I love taking dogs out for fresh air, sniffing adventures, and a good stretch of the legs! 🐾 Your dog will enjoy a cosy, clean, and calm indoor environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and of course, cuddles. Plus, they’ll have the company of my Cockapoo, Jude, to keep them entertained!

About: I’ve always had dogs since I was young and have always hated using impersonal kennels. I have a small, friendly pug who loves being around all dogs. I have a lovely, secure garden and access to great walks nearby. Your dog will be well cared for and treated like one of the family. I cannot overstate how much we love looking after dogs and they are our top priority - we know how much they mean to you and we will make sure they have a holiday of their own! I work from home for some of the week and also have family members who are available to help. Dogs can sit with the family in the evening for plenty of cuddles. I have a securely fenced garden and room for a crate if required. I have a small pug to keep your dog company. I will check your walking schedule with you beforehand and do a meet and greet ahead of time if desired.

“We met with Barbara before our planned stay and was really reassured at the level of care she would provide. We have just returned from our holiday and Dora has returned happy and relaxed. Barbara was willing to attend to an ear problem which involved medication oral and topical that Dora developed a couple of days before our holiday. Barbara’s home is a home from home and I don’t think Dora missed us too much. Regular walks and tummy rubs too!!! Barbara kept us updated throughout our stay with text & photos and we have already requested another booking.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life — from a high-energy Rhodesian Ridgeback-Boxer mix to a laid-back (but chew-happy) Golden Retriever, and three working Cocker Spaniels. I’ve also had cats, hamsters, horses ….animals have always been a big part of my day-to-day. Since moving into a flat, I really miss having a dog around. I work from home full-time, so I’ve got the flexibility and time to give them proper attention. I’ve looked after a range of different breeds and have a diploma in pet nutrition, so I’m confident caring for dogs with all kinds of needs. I spend most of my free time walking and hiking — luckily I live right next to a nature reserve, so your dog would get plenty of outdoor time. I’m looking forward to spending time with a four-legged friend again. I work from home full-time. Can look after dogs/ cats all day and walk regularly. Any weekday and weekends if given notice. Also available for holidays ! I have a large flat which is very dog and cat friendly. I understand this may not be ideal as no garden. However, I live next to a nature reserve which I walk in everyday. Also a keen hiker so can take on long walks at lunch or after work .
