Cilla has some food allergies and needs medication twice a day for a thyroid problem but Barbara and Frank took it all in their stride. Barbara sent me regular updates about how they were getting on; they were humerous and always relevant to Cilla and Frank not just generic one liners. I have a dog flap so they can easily come in and out of the garden without waiting for someone, but we often leave the back door open too. Dogs are allowed everywhere in our house, and we have lots of cozy beds around. We also have a crate and a metal pen, if your dog prefers a separate space for sleeping.

I have two dogs of my own and am the dedicated dog sitter for all of my friends and family when they go on holiday! They will be treated like a king/ queen. We take the doggies everywhere we go, so if they can’t go then we don’t go! We take dogs and all shapes and sizes including puppies! I work at home so am able to take the doggies out for a walk in my lunch break and able to let them out for as many toilet breaks as they need - the back door stays open all day (when it’s not too cold!) And also means snuggles all day! I have a fenced garden and two doggies that love animals which will keep them company and they absolutely love snuggling! We treat fur babies as part of the family and all dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds! There are no out of bounds areas! I also have a dog bed in every room so they have many to choose from!

About: I understand that caring for animals means exercise and interaction, as well as a feeling of security. I can promise all three at my Maidstone home. I have a hybrid role, meaning I'm typically at home three days a week. My wife works part-time hours and returns home around 2pm each day. We have two sons, one is away at uni, the other is going into Year 11. However, the only people in my home who will be caring for animal visitors will be myself with assistance from my wife Dorota. About: Dogs have always been a wonderful part of my life from a very young age. As a family our beautiful pets included Poodles, Yorkies and King Charles Spaniels. My own lovely old Jackadoodle passed away aged 16 over a year ago now but I have continued to care for all sorts of other little ones, Chihuahuas, Dachshunds and Frenchies, I love them all! There are plenty of dog friendly walks on my doorstep for your dog to enjoy while they stay with me. Great for short walks for old legs or longer adventures for youngsters. Safety is my priority and I always keep leads on. I am happy to send daily updates and photos whilst you are on holiday or at work. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog and I will always treat them as if they were my own. I enjoy getting to know each dogs personality, funny ways and little routines. This helps to make sure they feel calm, loved and safe with me until you’re home. I’m at home all day and so your dog will have plenty of company, cuddles and playtimes. They will be able to go in the garden whenever they want to and get the walks they need. I am usually available all week for boarding and Monday to Friday for daycare. Please be aware that I have uncarpeted wooden stairs which some dogs can find tricky, I am very happy to carry your dog up and down if needed if they like to sleep upstairs at night, but I do need to be able to lift them. Please keep this in mind if your dog doesn't like being carried. Dogs cannot access the stairs unsupervised. Dogs are allowed on the sofa for cuddles and upstairs with me at night in their beds if they are happiest staying close by. If your dog is used to sleeping in a crate, please bring it with you as I don’t have one.

About: We have had dogs in our family since I was a child. My parents have a 4 year old cavapoo who I trained with potty training, crate sleeping and obedience. Absolutely love all dogs and caring for them. I often look after family and friends dogs as I work from home so can keep them company and look after them whilst they go on holiday. I have been using Rover since May 2025 and now have many regular families with different breeds of dogs that I have had the pleasure of getting to know and looking after. He was very happy to do an initial meeting to ensure all people and furry animals would get along fine, which they did :) his dod Europa was so gentle and friendly . It was obvious that Stephen had a good understanding of dogs and Ollie took to him straight away. Communication was excellent all along and he sent many pics and update messages for me to see Ollie had settled in well and was happy. I unfortunately had an emergengy at work which meant I was late collecting Ollie and Stephen was very acommodating and put me at ease straight away. About: Since 2014 I have owned two lovely beagles: one named Archi and the other Marley. Unfortunately Marley passed recently, but with Archi and Marley, I have experience with caring for puppies, toilet training, feeding, sleeping, walking, and playing. I am retired, so I am available to meet any pet needs or requirements. Also since Marley’s passing, I have plenty of love, energy and time to play with pets, care for them and support their needs. About: Hi, I’m Lily. I’ve had dogs all my life and currently have two of my own, Buzz and Lola. They’ve been with me for over 10 years, so they’ve quite literally watched me grow up. It made me realise how many owners are in exactly the same position. Sometimes work, holidays or simply life get in the way, and that’s completely okay. That’s why I decided to join Rover. I love being outdoors, I love spending time with dogs, and if I can help someone by giving their dog the walks, company and care they deserve while they’re busy, then that’s something I’d genuinely enjoy doing. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m reliable, caring and will treat every dog as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll always take the time to understand their routine, personality and anything that makes them feel comfortable and happy. I’ll also make sure you stay updated while you’re away, with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and having a great time. Pet care is my main focus at the moment, which means I can dedicate my time to providing reliable, flexible care throughout the week. My schedule allows me to plan my days around the pets I’m looking after, whether that’s walks, home visits or overnight stays. I enjoy keeping dogs company, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise and care, and I always adapt my routine to suit their individual needs. I only provide care in your dog’s own home, as I believe they’re happiest and most comfortable in familiar surroundings. Before every booking, I like to arrange a meet and greet where I’ll bring a short form to go through your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, walks, any medical needs, favourite sleeping spots, house rules and anything else you’d like me to know. That way I can keep their routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and well looked after.
About: I understand that caring for animals means exercise and interaction, as well as a feeling of security. I can promise all three at my Maidstone home. I have a hybrid role, meaning I'm typically at home three days a week. My wife works part-time hours and returns home around 2pm each day. We have two sons, one is away at uni, the other is going into Year 11. However, the only people in my home who will be caring for animal visitors will be myself with assistance from my wife Dorota. We have a fenced garden and a number of lovely walks near Tovil, just a few minutes from our doorstep. I have transport too so can visit your home to check/feed/walk your cat or dog.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, currently have a miniature dachshund called Frankie, so very aware of dachshund needs. My family have cockapoos and German shepherds so very aware on their needs. I am cabin crew, who is currently off work with going through IVF, so I am home full time and available. I like to go on long walks with the doggies, especially in the evenings when it’s nice and cool. I have a garden which is secure, I have a miniature dachshund so the garden is secure for her. I live 2 minute walk from vineyards fields, lots of walking around my house. I am happy to come to your home and look after your pet.
About: I have taken care of every animal in my family since I was a child, I have always been responsible for them. I just love gave them attention. I’m available for pet boarding throughout the week. I have a friendly dog who enjoys the company of other dogs, and I have plenty of experience caring for pets in my daily routine. I live in a house with a fenced garden in a quiet, green area with lots of parks. I’m very active and love going on long walks with my dog. Pets in my home are treated like family — they can relax on the sofa, explore the garden and feel completely safe and comfortable.
About: I have had dogs in the home for the last 25 years, I enjoy the company of dogs, am sensitive to their needs and am passionate about providing exercise, play and cuddles. I am home Monday, Wednesday, Friday and most weekends. I work Tuesday and Thursday with someone home after 4pm on these days. I am able to accommodate up to two walks a day. I have flexible working to an extent so if you are planning a holiday let me know the dates and I may be able to take the time off work. I have a secure private garden and large green spaces in walking distance. My house is dog safe. My children are kind and gentle with animals and love all animals.

About: Iv grown up around dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments, giving me strong understanding of how different dogs behave and what they need to feel comfortable and settled. iv also previously worked with large protection dogs, so I'm confident and experienced when it comes to handling larger, stronger and more challenging dogs. I'm comfortable caring for and handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, while always taking the time to understand their individual personality and needs. I have my own Beagle at home who is friendly well-socialised and used to having other dogs stay in the home. i understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe and relaxed in a new environment, and i aim to provide a calm, secure and enjoyable home from home experience for every dog in my care. I'm currently working full time mon-friday. I am available for all dog sitting, walking and visits Friday (6pm) evenings to Monday morning (6am). I have a fenced garden area for myself and my beagle, with availability to a larger garden with shared access with another dog, but they can be kept separate. I'm willing and able to take your dog(s) on walks locally and also short journeys in the car for more adventures. I have the facilities to keep your dog(s) and mine apart if need/requested.

About: I'm in my 30s and I've been around dogs since the age of 4. Over the last year we've been doing a lot of dog sitting for friends and family and it's filled a huge void for us. We lost our beloved staffy (pictured) before Xmas. The house is so empty without her so having the company of other families fur babies brings a lot of comfort and joy to our every day 💕 I know it's a huge deal leaving your dog with a total stranger but we have a lot of love, attention and care to give! I work from home some days during the week so this means pet care fits into my week quite easily. I can work around you ☺️ We have a secure garden, and we're more than happy for dogs to be on the sofa! We're also very active people so we love walking as much as your dog needs.

About: I live with my husband (but I will the person looking after your pet) in Maidstone close to parks and woods for all types of walks. I’ve been around dogs and cats all our lives. I work a hybrid role and I am able to work from home as much as needed. I understand the importance of updates and aim to get the cutest pictures for you.
