About: For as long as I can remember I have been taking care of animals. From guinea pigs to great danes, I believe that pets bring happiness like nothing else. I have cared for many different breeds, waggy golden retrievers, adventurous beagles and even excitable great danes. I believe that our pups truly are part of the family. Since leaving uni for the summer I have lots of free time. I used to be a bar supervisor but I have realised that working in the nightlife industry made me depressed and lonely. Caring for dogs allows me to work during the day, explore the outdoors, spending time with lovable pups, which leaves me feeling happy and fulfilled. I am familiar with the area as I have lived here for 22 years and know of many good walking spots, however, I am also able to simply provide companionship in a setting where your pup is comfortable, whether that is at home or in a familiar walking spot for them.

When she was a child a stray dog followed us back to our lodging while we were on holiday and Jess couldn't sleep because she was concerned for the dog's safety. Pets would be in the safest hands with Jess, she will always put their needs first.”

“Ellie dropped in to look after our cat Leaf and did an amazing job. Before the first visit she popped in to meet Leaf who took to her instantly. Leaf was well fed, played with, and had her litter cleaned up. We received regular updates with photos of the two playing and having a great time. Ellie dropped the keys back in the letterbox after the final day, and always made sure to leave the place tidy and secured. About: I have raised a puppy previously, training them both at home and on walks. I also own to cats who I love more than anything. One of them was quite challenging when I got her but has developed into the most friendly and social girl. I was not informed that she was a feral cat when I adopted her, but in the space of a few months I managed to train her to be calm and trusting around other pets and people, to use the litter tray and to not resort to hissing or scratching when she needs space. I’m very open to looking after both dogs and cats, as I have experience with both and love spending time with pets! I am self employed & do freelance work remotely in Liverpool, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available 7 days a week! I spend a lot of time with my own pets, but as they are in my family home with multiple caregivers, it means I always have time to look after the pets of friends or family and even people I don’t know when needed :) I love to get to know pets and their preferences, for example, one of my cats wants to constantly be carried around like a newborn, but the other likes to have more space and will initiate when she wants to be petted or to receive attention. I love going on long walks and exploring new areas, so I would be very excited to make sure your pets get plenty of attention and time to play and walk outside. I have experience walking energetic dogs such as a Belgian Malinois, small dogs like Chihuahuas, and even dogs who may get a little bit more excited when given attention like Bully mixes. I love giving pets treats when they’re being angels as always, but I’m very aware of the limit when it comes to overfeeding them.

About: I have had pets all of my life and trusted by family and friends to care for theirs. I also assist my sister in training guide dogs for the blind I work a normal but very flexi office job, mostly from home and only a few minutes from my city centre apartment. I would often plan my week around the pets i was caring for I have a very safe and secure home right in the centre of town which has open plan layout, secure communal area, gated front yard and nearby gated dog park

“Kieran is amazing with his mums dog, Olly, who is a spaniel/beagle cross. He always enjoys taking him for long walks and plays with him wherever possible. Kieran is also an excellent carer of his mums cat, Muddles, who is 18 years old, she is deaf and also has dementia. Muddles is also quite unwell and requires medication through a syringe, which Kieran can give her and does so in a gentle manner. I’ve known Kieran for 6 years and I know how much he loves animals, particularly dogs.”

About: I've spent my whole life in a home full of cats, dogs and small furries - I love caring for and being around animals of any kind, and their welfare is very important to me! My partner, whom I live with, is also a vet nurse. I have experience training dogs in my own home, as well as regularly walking, bathing and grooming. Please note - we do live in a small flat in the city centre, but as I am currently working from home full time I can offer regular toilet breaks and up to three walks a day. I currently work very flexible hours from home so can accommodate your pets needs (toilet breaks, walks etc) when needed. My routine will fit around theirs. I have a quiet, child free home. There are currently no other animals so your pet will be given all the love and fuss possible!
