“Basil had a fabulous weekend, such a happy doggy when we picked him up. There is an enclosed garden for him to play in and was treated like part of the family, Joe and Helen are certainly dog lovers and sure any dog they look after they will go above and beyond to make your fur baby feel at home from home. Basil was walked and had plenty of toys to keep him entertained. I would give this couple 5 stars and highly recommended. We shall certainly be booking them again.”

“Layla had such an amazing time with Suzy and her family. She looked after her so well and we couldn't have wished for anyone better. Suzy is so caring and thoughtful and goes the extra mile. We would happy use Suzy again and would highly recommend her, she really is a fantastic dog sitter.”

About: With over five years experience owning my own dogs and three years of hands-on experience caring for others dogs of all breeds and temperaments, I bring a rare combination of skill, patience, and genuine love for animals. Having owned both a Great Dane and fostered a Belgian Malinois, I’m well-versed in meeting the needs of both gentle giants and high-energy working breeds. I have successfully trained three puppies, including Collies, Cocker Spaniel and a Dachshund X Terrier from scratch, giving me a deep understanding of canine behaviour, learning styles, and positive reinforcement techniques. My background allows me to handle everything from playful pups to strong, spirited dogs with confidence and care. More than just a sitter, I provide a safe, structured, and loving environment that helps every dog feel right at home. I work a typical 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday office job, where I have flexibility to work from home. My partner and I have three dogs ourselves so understand how difficult it can be to source care when you go away, especially care you trust. I am home most weekends so would like to be able to offer this to service to others. I have a 6ft fenced, fully secure small garden, with a dog flap in the back door, allowing dogs access to the garden at all times. This is along side a three bedroom house, where I allow dogs to have access to every room. We have an extra large crate which can be used if needed, as well as multiple dog beds around the house. My dogs are my fur-babies, so although my husband and myself are the top dogs of the house, they are very much spoilt. I am happy to follow rules and routines of individual dogs, and will discuss this with owners should boarding be agreed. I live on the edge of a city, on a beautiful Brayford and across the road from a common, allowing me plenty of choices for walks.

About: Tim and I are an engaged couple who have had family dogs, including spaniels and labradors all of our lives and from the age of 13, Jo has trained dogs to a family pet standard. We now have our own Red Fox Labrador who is “our baby” and is trained to retrieve as a working dog. Having seen several dogs through from puppies to senior ages, we have experience in caring for dogs with age related needs and specialist diets and routines. Tim and I both currently work full-time shift related jobs which occasionally overlap. We have the ability to return home several times during shifts to toilet our own dog. However, we prefer to offer services when we are on days off to provide reassurance that your dog is properly cared for, has the attention and stimulation to not feel additionally nervous during your absence and so we can oversee any routine, structure or needs that are specific to your furry friend. Despite living in a flat, this is set over 2 floors with open planned living on the top floor, so stairs are a factor that need considered. Also, not having a garden is not an issue. Outside, there is an area of communal grass which we use to toilet our own boy and within a 200m walk, there is the entrance to a nature reserve quarry where we go for regular walks but we also like to adventure for walks and swims to some of our favourite countryside walking spots in and around Lincoln. Our Labrador is well trained on and off lead and we encourage dogs of a similar, friendly approachable temperament but can adapt to more nervous dogs or doggies that prefer a lead walk.

“We are highly recommend Jake to look after your babies. I have spaniel boy , and how is his day with Jake is countryside running about space, always have new friends with him. Jake is also taking responsibilities to send us pics and videos about our baby , my kids could get more chance to go outside. So happy for his caring and we are so appreciate of his support. Next time I will choose him again!”

“Little Henry enjoyed with his mini holiday at Michelle’s. It was home from home for him. Michelle and Hubby gave him the same run of the house as we do and gave him lots of love and attention. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michelle.”

“What can I say..absolutely brilliant. Sarah and her partner went above and beyond! I can leave my dog with peace of mind knowing he's well looked after. He was super happy being there and loves them both which is incredibly rare as he never leaves my side. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you both.”

About: Hi all, My name is Raquel and I am studying canine behaviour, as well as working as an assistant Canine Behaviourist at Fern Ember Dog Behaviourist. I previously worked as a dog walker during my time as a student, specialising in high-energetic dogs, tailoring walks to their needs and combining running sessions with enrichment activities. I owned different breeds and temperaments, from puppies to adults and seniors, including reactive dogs. Furthermore, I am comfortable with big boisterous dogs, small fearful dogs or socially anxious dogs. All of them deserve to enjoy a caring space with free of judgement where their only concern is about how much fun and care will receive. I have full availability and can take care of your canine companions. I own my home and I only share it with my two-years-old staffy cross, Freya. We are big adventure explorers and love finding muddy walks, climbing, swimming, running and jumping obstacles. I completely understand how nerve-racking it is to leave your dog with a stranger, either for an hour or a night. For this reason, my approach would always be to include a free of charge meet and greet with the dog parents, take a walk in the area together and discuss all your concerns. My priority is for your dog and yourself to feel relaxed and trust that your dog is in good hands. Additionally, I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have a fenced garden with lovely views to the dog park. My dog, Freya, and I are less than 10 minutes to the common, and we are ready for an adventure, as mentioned. If your dog is staying a night, we will need to prearrange a meeting with my dog, Freya and trial night to understand if your dog feels comfortable and wants social interactions. If booking my services as a dog-walker, I will take your dog individually if requested.

Raquel M.
“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Raquel! She has been an absolute dream with Cooper. From the very first walk, I knew she had a special talent for dogs—kind, patient, and just totally knowledgeable. Before Raquel, Cooper would pull the leash like a little freight train, and his prey drive made every squirrel sighting an adventure (for him, not me!). But thanks to Raquel's background in dog behaviour, he's much more laid-back on walks, and I can now feel like we're finally doing it together and not him dragging me along for the ride. Above all, I'm so at ease leaving her with my beloved boy. She treats him like family and keeps him calm, safe, and entertained on every walk. If you're looking for a responsible, friendly, and particularly skilled dog walker, Raquel is your best bet! Cooper and I feel just blessed to have met her, and I know that any dog (and owner) would be too.”
