“We booked this last minute and Sophie was nothing but warm, friendly, and super accommodating. She was so quick to help, and from the moment she walked in we instantly felt at ease. We knew right away we’d made the right choice—not only leaving Barney with her, but also welcoming her into our home. Honestly, we couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Chloe was so patient and kind with Margot who was a little nervous about going off with someone new, but from all of the photo's looks like she had a marvellous time exploring. Looking forward to next week!”

“After two successful meet & greets, Jade’s first time doing a visit for my dog went well. She understands nervous dogs, and to let things go at their pace. Sookie seemed to have relaxed around her reasonably well as a result, and I think they’ll be firm friends before long!”

“Hannah was great. Her communication was excellent and she took plenty of photos of our two cats while we were away over Easter. I would definitely recommend to others 😊”

“Ting is so great with my two rescues! They can be very neurotic in their own special ways haha and she handles them wonderfully, they were very happy, fed and tired out when I got home :) Thanks so much!”

“Extremely happy with the service from Irina. Milo went from hissing at the first sight of Irina (normal for him) to letting her brush his belly on the first visit. Irina kept us well informed and provided lovely pics and videos from each visit and took some time out to play with his favourite cat toys. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Irina and will definitely use her again... Great Job..”

“Great communication, great pictures provided of our cats, and she'll let you know if anything in your home needs attention when you get back from holiday. Also, really great with last minute bookings!”

About: I have several years of experience in caring for dogs. Since moving to Brighton 2 years ago, I've been providing dog care services through the Borrow My Doggy website. I've looked after dogs of all ages and sizes, gaining valuable experience and receiving positive feedback from owners. Rest assured that your fluffy companion will receive the best care; I treat all dogs as if they were my own! Additionally, I have over a year of experience working with puppies. If you're looking to start socializing your puppy, I'd be happy to assist with that. If you'd like to meet me before deciding whether my service is right for your dog, please let me know. I'm more than happy with this arrangement. Feel free to reach out if you need someone to look after your furry companion :) I currently WFH full time 9-5 Monday -Friday. I will be available to walk your dog some times during lunch. Evenings and weekends is when I will be mostly available:) You can be assured your pet will be looked after and cared for as if it were my own. As I’ve stated before, I’m happy to meet and greet before discussing what kind of services you would like if you are happy with me looking after your dog :)

About: We are a couple in our thirties who love dogs but haven’t quite made taken the leap to have one of our own full time. I had Jack Russells and a Tenterfield Terrier and my partner had a German Shepherd/border Collie cross. I am a remote worker so home every day and live a 5 minute walk from a big park and 10 mins from Hove seafront. I live with my partner, Tom, who will be supporting me with the care of the dogs. I work from home every day 9-5 so am able to go for early morning walks/ lunchtime walks and after work strolls. We don’t have any pets of our own so I can provide the dog staying with us all my attention. Please note I go to a course on Wednesday evenings and leave the house at 5:30pm so any day bookings that day will need to collected by then during term time. I am sadly no longer able to sit dogs with separation anxiety due to this impacting my work too much. I also often go to the gym in the middle of the day so the dog will need to be able to be alone for an hour. We have a lovely home with a secure fully fenced garden. I love taking a short stroll to the seafront, which is where the dog will get a walk either in the morning/lunchtime or early evening.

“Our second meet & greet and 10 minute trial with Inna seemed to go well, although my dog barked a bit when I came back in (which she doesn’t normally do). Inna asks all the right questions, and seems to really want to understand both my and my dog’s needs. She was also on time and good communication. Hoping to use her again in future.”

About: Hello! Welcome to my page - I’d love to have the honour of looking after your precious doggo. I don’t have a dog myself at the moment but have in the past. I’ve spent 6 years walking dogs in my neighbourhood for the sheer love of it - whether drop ins, walks or daycare, I’ve taken care of many small to medium sized pooches. I live in a flat with private enclosed garden - because it’s a flat, I tend to only take small to medium dogs for daycare, but happy to walk/drop in for larger doggos! I’m based in central Hove. I’ve also got experience caring for young puppies if you need a break from the intense job of raising a pupper. I only walk/care for one dog at a time as am conscious that many dogs don’t thrive in a large group environment…plus it means each dog gets all my attention. Just drop me a message with any questions. Caroline I WFH 3 days a week so your little pal would be given lots of cuddles and playtime inside, as well as at least two walks outside - dependant upon your requirements of course. I allow dogs on furniture and beds so just let me know if that’s something I need to prevent for your pooch. I will require a list from pup parents regarding care required, any rules to be observed and medication to be given. This ensures we are in agreement and eliminates risk for both parties.

About: With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, I offer safe, reliable sitting in a calm home environment. From long walks to belly rubs and medication if needed, your dog will be treated like family while you're away. I work from home during the week, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I provide calm, reliable care tailored to your pet’s needs—whether it’s walks, playtime, medications, or just a cozy presence. I have a small, secure back garden for safe outdoor time, plus comfy dog beds, toys, and a calm environment where your dog is welcome anywhere in my home.

“Annabel was a fantastic friend to my cat while I was away for a week. Her kindness, understanding and caring nature meant that Blossom was very happy and looked forward to her daily visits. I would not hesitate to recommend Annabel - she really is certainly someone that can be relied on with any pet she is asked to look after. Thank you so much to Annabel!”

About: I have always had a deep connection with animals, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with our four-legged friends. Their well-being and happiness bring me great joy, and I believe my passion and dedication will shine through in the care I provide. I am a responsible and reliable individual. I understand the importance of maintaining open and transparent communication with pet owners, providing regular updates, and adhering to any specific instructions or routines. You can trust me to treat your dog as if they were my own. I am currently working from home (9-5' schedule), so I can stay over for pet sitting and will have plenty of time to play with your dogs. If you'd like to book dog walking rather than dog sitting, I am free outside of my working hours. I am available every day if prior notice is given at least a day ahead. When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, I am attentive to their specific needs, such as administering medication, adhering to dietary restrictions, and providing any necessary special care. I strive to build a trusting relationship with the pets and their owners, always maintaining open communication and providing updates on their well-being.

About: Hello! I'm Natalia, I've adored dogs since I was a kid and have had experience walking and looking after a variety of breeds including Cockerpoos, Golden retrievers, Pugs, rescues, Spaniels and even a Great Dane! Friends and neighbours have trusted me to walk, feed and bathe their pets whilst they've been away or unable to do so. A little about me...I'm a friendly and warm person who enjoys keeping fit through yoga and strength workouts. I'm a big fan of music, films, art and spending time with friends and family :-) I'm also a new mama to our 5 month old daughter. I am currently on maternity leave so spend most days at home and daily walks with my daughter in her pram. My partner works away for a couple of weeks at a time so it would be lovely to have some company. At the weekends, depending on how comfortable the dog feels with me and with permission of their owner, dogs that I have looked after have become an extension to myself and we have often explored the local area together and visited my local friends and family in Buckinghamshire. The dogs I look after make themselves at home pretty quickly at mine. I allow them to get used to their new surroundings, have a nose and a sniff around and allow them to relax in a spot they pick themselves. If when they are dropped round to mine and they are pinning for their owner and haven't settled I take them for a walk to distract them. There are many beautiful green spaces close by as well as the beach which we are luckily to have at the bottom of our road!

Jordan F.Star Sitter
“Jordan has such a gift with dogs. His experience looking after his family pooch really shines through when caring for dogs that belong to strangers! He ensures all their needs are met based on their individual requirements and the specifics on their owners, but most of all gives them all the love they deserve to be comfortable, happy and healthy while away from their families. I couldn’t recommend a a more passionate individual when it comes to canine caregiving!”

Roxy S.
“Roxy is every fury friends best pal! My Cavapoo Rupert Bear has stayed with Roxy on several occasions… including a last minute getaway when I was having my first baby. Roxy was on hand to have Rupert and he absolutely loved his last minute trip!Rupert is loved beyond belief, gets lots of walks, 1000’s of ball throws and a lot of belly rubs. Suzana P.
“I was thrilled when Suzana told me she was going to be a pet caregiver because she is one of the most dedicated people I know when it comes to pets. Besides that she is a dog and cat rescuer since forever, she also helps others with dog/cat sitting and she is the best, all pets adore her. She has a big heart and she is dedicated to help homeless pets and pets with disabilities. When I was sick and undergoing heavy treatment she helped me taking care of my cat Missy and dog Lina who was not the nicest dog to be around :) but Suzana somehow managed to befriended her (and nobody beside family managed to do that before) and they became very fond of each other during the forthcoming years, same with my cat Missy who was also a special cat - spoiled to the bones and she loved it when Suzana came to visit us. When I could not take care of them properly she used to take Lina on long walks and give her all necessary care like bath, food, etc. She snuggled with them and I think they never felt that something was different. I never once felt that I have to step in, everything was taken care of without my intervention. If you only take a look at her own dogs and cats you will see that she is committed and most loving human being on earth. I highly recommend her for helping you taking care of your pets.”

Caroline C.
“Caroline looks after our Buffy regularly and Buffy absolutely loves her! She’s given the best care and Caroline follows all of our instructions regarding keeping Buffy on a lead, and certain commands we like to use. It’s a relief to know we can leave our pooch with someone so trustworthy.”

Shelley M.
“I have know Shelley for many years and find her to be a very kind, honest and calm person. She has owned dogs and understands them therefore I would have no problems in her caring for my 2 dogs.”

Markéta B.Star Sitter
“We really needed an extra hand, as I was going through a transitional period at work. I connected Markéta through the Rover page and she has just been a massive help for us all. We are so grateful for her kindness and fondness with my dog Charlie. Will definitely be staying in touch and be back to her if needed. Thanks again Markéta!”

Luke W.

“Dennis loves Luke!”

Natalia L.
“We would highly recommend Natalia to look after your loved pet. Not only does she love dogs but they seem to adore her too, instantly warming to her. We left our 8 month old puppy with Natalia for a week and although we were nervous leaving him for the first time, she gave us regular updates and lots of photos. He had such a great time with lots of cuddles and walks. We think he had just as good a holiday staying with Natalia as we did! We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Natalia to look after Rufus again, in fact we already have her booked in!”
