“Shannon looked after our two dogs brilliantly. She was so professional to deal with and excellent at keeping us updated while we were away. Our house was also left in a spotless condition when Shannon left. I would 100% Shannon and we can’t wait to see her again soon.”

“Emily looked after my cat & dog for a week. Emily was very quick to reply, sent lots of pictures and updated me regularly. She made me feel completely at ease and less anxious about leaving my pets to go on holiday. Emily respected and followed Frank’s routine and made sure that we came home to a tidy, clean house. If I ever need a dog/cat sitter again, there is no one else that I will ask.”

“Abby was such a delightful, upbeat and caring person. She took care of Nina in our home, and also gave her meds as needed. She sent us pictures and daily updates. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

About: Loads of experience taking care of my sisters dogs: Labs, Newfoundlands, Golden Retrievers, Aussie Shepherds. I love the mid/big size dogs that is where I am best. Love taking them on long walks, playing and cuddle time. I currently work full time, however I can make time for your pet! Mornings before work, and evenings after work are best for me. Between 6-9am, and 6pm-10pm. However, I can flex, and want to work for what is best for you! I have an apartment, in which your pet will be safely secured. The apartment building has a garden area and there are loads of nearby parks for care and walks.

About: I have had the pleasure of having dogs since early age, so I am used to care for them and adapt to their own needs and personalities. I see them as my own companions and certainly as part of the family. I also look after my dear neighbours dogs, so again, helping and adapting to different ways of doggies. I am also a mature, honest and reliable lady who is committed to comply with the duty of caring of a pet and I know how important that is when you need to rely on other people to care for your dog. I work from home part time, so I am quite adaptable to the needs of yourself and of course the pet to care for, as I could take if necessary my laptop to your place and be with the pet the majority of time. Not applicable at the moment as not caring for the pet at my own home at least presently. However and depending of the size of the dog, that could also be considered.

“Michael stayed for a week while we went on holiday. He took exceptionally good care of our four legged family members. We would be more than happy to have him return and take care of our dogs again.”

“Louise was great, my dog Chione took to her immediately. Booked at fairly last-minute, she was very accommodating both in terms of meet and greet and supporting my timings for a weekend booking. House was left clean and tidy. Will definitely be reaching out again for future sitting requirements!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a pet-loving home taught me from an early age how to care for a wide range of animals with patience, love, and attention to detail. I’ve had the joy of growing up with both cats and dogs - including Tabbies, Maine Coons, Labradors, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and Spaniels - giving me a strong foundation in understanding different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. I’m a proud owner of a calm, affectionate British Shorthair – who reminds me daily how unique each animal’s personality can be. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, or simply making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience and genuine care to every animal I look after. I know how important your pets are to you – because mine mean the world to me too! I’m currently taking a career break after working in the financial industry for the past eight years. This time off has given me the flexibility to focus on something I’ve always loved - caring for animals. I’m available throughout the week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and can accommodate your schedule and your pet’s needs. Whether you need daily check-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute support, I’m here to offer reliable, compassionate care. When caring for animals in someone else’s home, I understand the deep level of trust that’s involved - not just with your pet, but with your personal space too. I treat every home with the utmost respect and ensure a calm, secure, and familiar environment for your pet to feel comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority. From sticking to their usual routines to providing plenty of love, play, and attention, I work to create an stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I’m reliable, discreet, and fully committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and caring atmosphere - just as I would in my own home.

About: I’ve cared for a variety of animals, dogs, cats, hedgehogs, tortoises and loved each of them dearly. I’m kind, patient and reliable. I have studied dog training techniques at university level. I cannot commit to a pet of my own full time but would love the enjoyment of caring for a furry friend in all my spare time. I currently work shifts which allow me a lot of free time, I can board most weekends and offer early walks throughout the week. I can offer a variety of time slots for walks including early hours and late nights to account for the warm weather. I have a large park behind my property that is perfect for dogs, I have previously crate trained my own dog and feel comfortable doing this for you if necessary, I drive my own vehicle and know excellent dog walking routes, happy to bathe, and the occasional nail clip of required.

About: I’ve taken care of many breeds of dogs with many different temperaments and behavioural issues since I was 14. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, look after and care for their pets also. I’ve had quite a lot of experience with senior dogs, the slower walks where they can just sniff about and enjoy life are always the best and easier on their joints. I’ve also taken care of many different species of animals including livestock, rodents and reptiles. I’ve spent quite a lot of time around horses as I use to ride. Small rodents like rats though would definitely have to be my favourite little animals to take care of though as they can be so loving! I’m currently looking for work, this being the main outcome so far as I’m very much a pet enthusiast! I’ll have all the time in the world to play and look after your beloved furbabies! Caring for pets in your home can be quite stressful for your furbabies as it’s not completely familiar, I will do my best to ensure they are comfortable and have the same routine they have with you! Routine and consistency is always the key to success. If your dogs need to be given medication at any time I would need a schedule as of how much and when but they will get all the love, enrichment and play they desire!

About: Hi! My name's Amy and I'm an undergraduate studying music who loves working with animals in my free time. My experience with dogs has been slightly different due to some of my own dog’s health conditions. I've learnt how to adjust bathing sessions so they cause less anxiety, sleep downstairs after surgeries, as well as spending a couple hours out and about to tire them out! I have experience working in a pet shop, so I'm very used to doing all the dirty jobs. I've also been through the puppy phase before, so it's ok if they're still curious and learning about the world. I'm happy to help feed animals their medication and work on any behavioural things you wish to correct; grooming is also a topic that can be discussed, but not something I would do without your specific request. I also understand that pets need to stay mentally stimulated in order to thrive at their best, and sometimes that includes a stinky treat outside! You can trust I will do everything I can to ensure their happiness. In regards to housesitting, I'm most comfortable if it's for a few days rather than weeks at a time, however if I've worked with a specific owner consistently I'd be happy to adjust my schedule to prioritise their needs. We could also start with consistent home visits before housesitting with your pet so you'd feel safe leaving them in my care. I'm currently back home from university and my schedule is a lot more open than usual, and I'm more than happy to take bookings over the Summer Break. I don't offer services at my own home, due to my own pet not being dog-friendly; so drop-in visits or sitting would all be done for your animal in the comfort of their own home. This allows for a more stress-free experience for your beloved pet, surrounded by their familiar environment and comfort items.

“Cate is just wonderful! She looked after our two cats and our dog for a longer sit this weekend, and once again, they were completely at ease with her the whole time. All three of them followed her around like she was part of the family, and it’s so reassuring to know they’re in such loving, capable hands. We came home to happy, relaxed pets and great updates throughout the day. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

“The best dog sitter on the planet! Dominique looked after our great dane Ryo for 10 days at our house while were away and did an outstanding job!! From strictly following every single instruction in the briefing pack e.g walk and feed times, medication/treatment to bins Dominique painstakingly exceeded all our expectations!!! Throughout our absence she kept us fully updated with photos so we enjoyed the level of peace of mind we never expected. We returned to a clean and tidy house and a happy and safe Ryo!! Without a doubt, the only dog sitter we will ever use in future will be Dominique!! She has all the attributes of the best dog sitter-calm, great dog rapport, firm handling, Ryo like all great danes doesn't take to strangers easily but got on with Dominique instantly!! We are truly very grateful at having found Dominique and are happy to provide any references for her as anyone may require-she is just amazing!!”

“Becca was really easy to speak to and was quick in responding to organise the initial meet and greet. Both the dogs were happy in her company straight away. We had every confidence leaving our dogs with her and would be happy for her to dog sit for us anytime.”

About: Anyone who knows me would vouch for my pure passion for all animals. My family has had cats since I was born and we got our first dog nearly 15 years ago who was my absolute world. Unfortunately we lost her at the end of 2024, but she lived a great, long life. As soon as I was able to, I have independently walked / trained / cared for my pets and take any opportunity to care for any animal! My neighbors have trusted me to look after their pets whilst on holiday and I have a regular pet sit (dog and cat in their own home) where I quickly managed to befriend a nervous little cat who is very friendly with me, which I think was a shock to the owners! I also have experience looking after high energy puppies (border collies) and larger dogs like labradors. I volunteer at my local wildlife rescue charity, where I health check and clean out anything from hedgehogs to pigeons! My love for animals extends into my career aspirations, as I want to go into the environment and sustainability sector. I will always go above and beyond to make sure animals feel safe and comfortable and will often put their needs above my own. I’m on summer break from university until September so looking for some part time work to tide me over- what better way to spend it?! I am happy to accommodate to instructions provided to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable with my care. I can maintain a clean and organised environment and would communicate transparently for your peace of mind.

“Megan looked after Bandit and Buddy like they were her own. She is extremely professional, responsible and caring. It was my first time booking a Dog/house sitter she was very reliable and made the process very easy. She kept me up to date with pictures and messages to let me know how they were doing. I will definitely be using Megan again. The dogs absolutely love her. ?”

About: I am a 70yrs young retired fit gentleman looking to fill spare time looking after pets which is something I love to do. We have had pets all our married life (44yrs) including many cats (4 together at one point), bearded dragon, guinea pig and mice, dealing with day to day cat trays and vet visits and giving medication. Over the past 3 yrs I have helped with looking after and training my son’s dog. Including house sitting while away on holidays. Additionally, their cat and 2 rabbits. I have also looked after neighbours pets including tortoises, fish and cats. I am confident that I could help train dogs in respect of walking if required. I am retired and live with my wife (Susan Stone)and we have a flexible schedule. Finding ourselves with free time we thought it would good to care for pets which is something we like to do. Our schedule is flexible as we both drive and are available. I am happy to follow instructions for your pet and any schedule they are used to in your own home and also happy to give them attention and cuddles when needed.

Jonathan M.
“Jonathan cared for my dog, Lola whilst I was away and he did an amazing job. He treated Lola as if she was his own and she was such a happy dog when I came home. Lola is a high energy bouncy girl but Jonathan took this in his stride, clearly having had lots of experience with dogs before. I would gladly leave Lola with Jonathan again as she was so relaxed around him, and he cared for her beautifully.”

Maria Del Rocio B.
“Our family has known Rocio for eight years, and we would be delighted to vouch for her on 'Rover'! We first got to know Rocio when she was working as a cleaner for a contract cleaning company we employed. She did such an amazing job that we soon asked her to help out with other things too - and she quickly became our 'go to' babysitter for our two young children. She was so kind and reliable that we recommended her to our friends, and she is now widely known and employed as a babysitter among our friendship group. Often when she would babysit, she would bring along her own lovely little dog, Juno, who our children adored. So, when we got our dog, Jack, in 2017, it made complete sense to ask Rocio to look after our dog occasionally too. So - she has happily cared for Jack occasionally for almost seven years now. This has included dog walking duties, but also 'dog sitting' for Jack for up to a week at a time whilst we have been on holiday. The best recommendation we can give is that Jack is always really pleased to see Rocio - he clearly adores her and loves spending time with her. He also gets along famously with Juno, although he does rather unkindly steal Juno's favourite spot on the sofa when he stays with Rocio! We would have no hesitation in giving Rocio a most glowing recommendation, and can assure anyone employing her as a dog walker or dog sitter that their best friend is in the best hands!”

Michael H.Star Sitter

“The furkids felt immediately at peace with Josh, and he had an amazingly gentle nature with them. They were happy, well taken care of, and look forward to seeing Josh again. Thank you!”

Samantha W.
“Samantha has been an absolutely brilliant dog walker and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. From the very beginning, she was reliable, professional, and clearly passionate about dogs. Our dog took to her instantly, and it was clear she genuinely cared—not just about getting them out for a walk, but making sure they had a fun, safe, and stimulating experience. Samantha kept us updated with photos and little notes after each walk, which gave us great peace of mind. She’s been flexible, punctual, and always goes the extra mile. It’s rare to find someone so trustworthy and dedicated. We’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for top-quality care for their dog.”

Lorna B.
“Lorna is a reliable and caring person. Your animals would be in the best hands with her. Lorna has cared for my cat Charlie in the past and I had ever confidence in her ability to care for his well-being. He was almost sad to sue her go.”
