“Bruna and her family were absolutely fantastic. We got regular updates and photos of Nola having a great time in the garden. Bruna was also very accommodating of our late pick up times too. If you can, send your dog to Bruna for a fantastic trip away”

“Coco had a fantastic time with Vivianne - she enjoyed every minute and was well looked after. She had fun in the garden and thrived on the company of the other dog. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away and Vivianne’s attention to detail in sending me a video of Coco playing was greatly appreciated and a lovely touch. I will definitely have Coco looked after by Vivianne again in the future when in the Harrogate area!”

“Stanley seemed sad to leave Denas (and his new friend Everett!) which says it all! This was the first time we’d used a sitter via the Rover website and were very pleased with how the whole process went. Thank you Denas, Jacob & Everett!”

About: Hi! I’m Lijana :) In the last few years, I decided to do more of what I love; spending time with dogs! I’ve had the privilege of pet sitting for a variety of dogs in London, Sydney and Harrogate and I’ve absolutely loved it. It’s been especially rewarding to be welcomed back by many of the owners and to form special bonds with their pets. I’ve loved animals since I was a child and they were a huge part of my life growing up on a farm in New Zealand. We were surrounded by a variety of animals, had a beloved family dog and cats. Nurturing and looking after pets comes easy to me and brings me enormous joy. I understand the love and strong bond between an owner and their dog, and the responsibility of caring for your precious pet. I’ll look after them like they were my own. I take enormous pride in everything I do. I’ll care for your pet with the utmost kindness, enthusiasm and reliability. Having a part-time schedule allows me the flexibility to care for your dog. I love walking and I'd be thrilled to have a companion join me on walks, exploring, playing fetch or simply enjoying the scenery. I’m happy to provide photos and video updates of your beloved pet whilst they are in my care. I’ll follow your preferred routine and guidelines whilst caring for your pet. My aim is to make them feel happy and secure in their own home environment or mine and enjoy our time together.

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and recently lost my own beloved French Bulldog, Ernie. I have a particular understanding of brachycephalic breeds and their unique needs, but I adore all dogs and would love to have a four-legged friend around again. I live near Valley Gardens and Pine Woods, so can offer a variety of walks tailored to your dog’s needs. My home has a secure, enclosed back yard for safe outdoor play, and there’s plenty of time for regular play sessions with toys or just relaxed snuggles on the couch. Whether your dog is active or prefers a quieter pace, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’m predominantly home based, with I occasional days in the office. I’m available during the weekend, adhoc days and periods upto 2 weeks covering holidays live alone in a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets. The environment is calm and ideal for dogs who need a peaceful stay. I have a secure, enclosed backyard for safe playtimes, and I’m happy for dogs to sleep in the bedroom if that’s what they’re used to. Your dog’s comfort and routine will be respected and maintained.

“Ewelina looked after Macey for me while I went to the Yorkshire Show. Arranged a meet before hand to allow Macey and Ewelina to meet up and be more comfortable on the day. Ewelina kept me updated with pictures which showed Macey completely at home and relaxed. It was great knowing she was safe and being looked after by a very genuine lady. I will definitely visit again and leave Macey in such great care.”

About: I trained scoob from a puppy & it taught me loads of patience & tactics to working with dogs. He’s walked three times a day with his main walk around 11/12pm. We often venture into pine woods & valley gardens, sometime even oak beck. We make dogs part of our family so even when we go out for the day at the weekend we regularly plan to bring scoob along for the day. He’s told me his favourite weekend day is to go for a great walk on Ilkley moor & go to a pub for some lunch! In addition I regularly look after my parents dog, Max, who’s a cocker spaniel aged 10. Knowing he’s older, we adjust our daily routine to make sure max doesn’t feel overwhelmed or too tired. Him and Scooby are best pals. I work from home all week so the pet would not often be left alone. Scoobs is walked three times a day with a main walk about midday. At the weekend we normally plan to include Scooby so including another pet is very easy to do. Our back yard has a 6 foot wall & fence. Dogs can roam the house during the day but are not allowed on the beds unless invited up. But sofas are fair game. At night we allow dogs to sleep in the dining room & on our first floor landing so they feel safe and secure with as little disturbance from the outside as possible.

“We were so impressed with the care and love Emily gave to our Lhasa Apso Bobby ( Bob the Dog). It is the first time we have left him outside family and we were nwrvous. But Emily clearly had the knack of making him completely at home and Bob made friends with her dog Lando. She texted us after an hour to reassure us all was good and the photos were lovely of his stay. We would absolutely recommend Emily to other owners.”

“Eleanor and Edward are the best possible people to care for your dog. Stanley 100% loves them and dotty more than us now, and always comes back to happy and tired. I couldn’t recommend anyone more.”

“Highly recommend. 5 stars ***** Joanne is a lovely, kind and caring person. Our dog Bella can be nervous around new people and Joanne manage get Bella settled and playing ball within 5 minutes of our arrival. Joanne is a natural with dogs and we felt very comfortable leaving Bella in her care. Joanne gave us peace of mind by adapting to Bella’s needs and we felt reassured to leave Bella in such capable and caring hands. We would definitely use Joanne again and we highly recommend.”

About: Throughout my childhood into my adult years, my family has looked after dogs for neighbours, friends, collegues and more. It was a wonderful experience. Going into my teenage years the tasks of walking, feeding, bathing and playing were put onto me and my brothers. I have looked after a range of dogs in size and age, from puppies to seniors and from a Daschund to a Great Dane/Labrador mix. I also have experience giving medicine to those who need it. I adore being around animals, and would love to make sure that your dog has a fantastic, fun time filled with playing and cuddles. I love walking, and would enjoy long walks in interesting and enriching places. I’m currently a university student and I have just finished a year abroad in France and Argentina. I will be at home with my family for the summer so I have plenty of time to look after your dogs. I am available for walks after 11am every day. I have a securely fenced back garden. I am also able to crate your dog if necessary or if you would prefer me to do so. I am very focused on ensuring the safety of your pet, and I will have my attention on them at all times.

“Thank you Steve . You are amazing . Steve and Sandra took care of our high energy puppy for dog day care. Steve’s outlook is super positive, especially when our pup chose to discover anything and everything in his house . His communications and updates were excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend.”

“After having an awful experience with Trusted Housesitters, I was anxious about leaving my dog with anyone else, even for a day. Meeting with Ilona in advance of the daysit helped me to feel more comfortable and the day itself went really well. She sent loads of pictures and took him on some great walks, and he was knackered at the end of the day. We hope to have Ilona watch Bryn in the future :)”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Toffee's day sit! She had an amazing time, including a lovely long walk in nature and lots of playtime with Obi, who she got along with brilliantly. Emilie took such great care of her and kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which was so reassuring. It was clear Toffee was happy, relaxed, and having a fantastic time. I feel completely confident and at ease leaving Toffee with Emilie again – highly recommend!”

“Lijanna has looked after our dog Elwood twice. We used to have two dogs but when one passed away it hit Elwood hard and he struggles to be by himself. Lijana cared for him so well, took him out for lots of walks, gave him lots of cuddles and always sent beautiful pictures of him out on his adventures. It was reassuring to know he was being cared for so well. I think he was disappointed when we came home!”
