“Our usual dog sitter moved recently and we were pretty hard-pressed looking for someone close by. We then came across Constancia and her son Ivan. I am so happy that we chose them. Bella has been looked after and pampered. I couldn't have asked for anything more. She is happy and content. Constancia kept us up to date with pictures and video's of her time. I would highly recommend them and use them again. Thank you.”

About: I trained scoob from a puppy & it taught me loads of patience & tactics to working with dogs. He’s walked three times a day with his main walk around 11/12pm. We often venture into pine woods & valley gardens, sometime even oak beck. We make dogs part of our family so even when we go out for the day at the weekend we regularly plan to bring scoob along for the day. He’s told me his favourite weekend day is to go for a great walk on Ilkley moor & go to a pub for some lunch! In addition I regularly look after my parents dog, Max, who’s a cocker spaniel aged 10. Knowing he’s older, we adjust our daily routine to make sure max doesn’t feel overwhelmed or too tired. Him and Scooby are best pals. I work from home all week so the pet would not often be left alone. Scoobs is walked three times a day with a main walk about midday. At the weekend we normally plan to include Scooby so including another pet is very easy to do. Our back yard has a 6 foot wall & fence. Dogs can roam the house during the day but are not allowed on the beds unless invited up. But sofas are fair game. At night we allow dogs to sleep in the dining room & on our first floor landing so they feel safe and secure with as little disturbance from the outside as possible.

“First time leaving my 2.5 year old beagle with anyone for the day and I couldn’t be happier. We were kept updated through the day with pics and when I went to pick him up I’m pretty sure he wanted to stay and play. Thank you so much for looking after Archie, will most certainly be using again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I recommend her to everyone because my dog was completely safe and really enjoyed the stay. I would like to bring my dog to them next time again.”

“This was our first time using a dog sitter for Dexter and so we were a bit nervous at the outset. Seamus was quick to invite us round so that Dexter coukd meet him, his wife Amy and their little dog Bella, even before we made a booking with him. All went well with the meet up and we dropped Dexter off a few days later for his first stay. During the stay Seamus kept us updated with photos and messages letting us know that Dexter had eaten, been good on his walks and had settled at night. His communications throughout the whole process were top notch and we collected a very contented Dexter up at the end of his stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Seamus to anyone looking for a calm and caring host for their furry canine friend! I very much hope that Dexter will be welcome to stay with him again in the future.”

“Felt really happy leaving Pip with Emily. She sent regular updates and we thought she cared for the dogs very well. Pip was happy and content when I picked her up and would have no problem leaving Pip again. Thank you”

“James and his family were so kind and flexible when our weekend plans changed last minute. It was such a relief to know that my dog was being well cared for in a loving home and we really appreciated James sending regular updates and photos. We already trying to rebook!”

“We left our Border Collie with Bev for a two night stay and were thrilled with the care that Bev provided. We knew from our visit that the beautiful countryside setting would suit our outdoor dog and that was so true. Bess is not used to being away from us but she settled down really quickly with Bev from her first friendly, relaxed greeting. It was really lovely to get reassuring messages and photographs that Bess was settled. This really helped to put our minds at rest. We would not hesitate to leave Bess with Bev again and highly recommend her as a dog minder.”

About: have years of experience caring for dogs and recently lost my own beloved French Bulldog, Ernie. I have a particular understanding of brachycephalic breeds and their unique needs, but I adore all dogs and would love to have a four-legged friend around again. I live near Valley Gardens and Pine Woods, so can offer a variety of walks tailored to your dog’s needs. My home has a secure, enclosed back yard for safe outdoor play, and there’s plenty of time for regular play sessions with toys or just relaxed snuggles on the couch. Whether your dog is active or prefers a quieter pace, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’m predominantly home based with occasional office days. If boarding a dog I will ensure fully home based for that period. I’m available during the weekend, adhoc days and periods upto 2 weeks covering holidays live alone in a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets. The environment is calm and ideal for dogs who need a peaceful stay. I have a secure, enclosed backyard for safe playtimes, and I’m happy for dogs to sleep in the bedroom if that’s what they’re used to. Your dog’s comfort and routine will be respected and maintained.

“Ewelina was amazing and I could see from the regular updates and pictures that my boy was happy. He's now flat out on the sofa so you've managed to tire him out too and that isn't easy :) thank you so much!”

“Hughie loved his stay with Ryan and Rose. We couldn't have asked for more from a dog sitter. Easy to communicate with and sent us regular updates. We will definitely be asking them to look after Hughie again.”

About: I have a lot of patience, as I really like taking care of animals. And I also have a dog who is already elderly and has a little pain in her back and I take care of her as if she were my daughter. I usually work until 2:30 am, get home around 3 am and am available to take care of the animals. On my days off I have full day availability and I can take care of more animals. I make them feel comfortable and can walk around the house and sit with me on the couch watching television together under the covers. If it's cold. And I have a little dog that she can be their friend too.

“I've known Joanne for many years and know at first hand, her long experience of being a conscientious and diligent carer for dogs. In Joanne's home, dogs benefit from being in a home away from home. She will take the time to listen to your needs, understand your dog's preferences and will continue with boundaries around behaviour management that you want maintained in your absence, making sure your dog feels safe, loved and happy. Joanne will ensure your dog is well exercised in line with your expectations and will take the time to get to know how your dog relates to other dogs to make sure they are always safe in any environment.”
